Horse guides Briar & Billy were amazing guides throughout the horse trek. We had to change a rider at the start of the trek due to an unforeseen circumstance, and they were okay with that. They did a safety brief and explained a bit about the horses and which ones we would be riding and in which order. After all, the formalities were out of the way we were on the trek. It started in a paddock on the edge of the sand dunes and we trekked through the farm a bit and through the bush and over the sand dunes which we were then greeted with the a view of the Waipu coast with the ocean and surf, so beautiful. We went down the beach a bit and enjoyed the scenery, and then we headed back the same way. They took photos along the way and shared them with us at the end, which was nice. Thanks, Briar and Billy. See you next time we come up. Awesome horse trek and quides I highly recommend this horse trek location 👌 👏 👍

Took a 1 hr ride with my girlfriend for the first time here the other day and it was AWESOME. Beautiful landscapes, very clear communication from our leader, the horses were well behaved, absolutely fantastic for beginners and casual riders. I’m looking forward to going on the slightly advanced 2 hr ride sometime soon!

Awesome place! We went there on a Sunday for a beach trek. We didn't have much experience and we little bit nervous, stuff was really helpful and supportive. The trek itself goes from the farm through bush to a beach. Views are picturesque! The horses were friendly, obedient and well behaved. I would definitely recommend this place!

The guide was very aware of us as nervousness horse riders and accommodated. The horses were well trained and obedient. The views on the beach were breath taking and it was such a unique experience to go in the water with the horses!!

Fantastic experience for my 9 year old with her grandparents and reasonable price compared to some other establishments. Only her second time on a horse so still new and a little nervous but managed to pick up the pace and try trotting thanks to the wonderful guide Adele. A decent length of ride and both in the bush and riding on the beach, which they all really loved. Adele was wonderful and took them at the pace they needed and the horses were very friendly and seemed to know what to do without much guidance. Highly recommended.

We actually had a bad experience initially because they'd stuffed up or booking - even though we'd confirmed the booking the night before. Despite this, the trek was amazing and the guide, Vanessa, was the best. Made our daughters feel really safe and comfortable. The facilities are minimalistic but the horses are well cared for and looked happy.

One of the best treks I've been on. I'm an experienced rider but my partner is a novice but the ride never felt ploddy or boring. No roadwork at all which was nice and the beach was beautiful. Not bad price either compared to other rides I've done in NZ

Thanks to our leader, Laura! I treated my mum whilst on her vacation here to a 2 hour (intermediate level) ride. We absolutely loved it. Very clear communication and safety precautions taken by our leader in terms of foreseen circumstances such as dogs, quad bikers and 4x4 dune drivers including the overgrown bushes in the area. We got a good few, short trots, gallops and canters in. And they were very accommodating to enable us to have a ride on boxing day! Very much appreciated. (Anjie and Jacqui)

Very good lovely track, lovely women running this. Nice horses too. We've been twice and will go again. Nice to get photos which were taken and air dropped to my daughter. Hreat experience for all ages.

Awesome adventure! Easy to set up and the guide was fantastic. The views were great. It was a bit hard to find but once we arrived it was a wonderful experience!
