Our first visit there, was to the Christmas Lights. Very well organised. Authentic attire. The steam train ride was absolutely brilliant !! And once the sun set, you could really appreciate the great effort put into the Christmas lighting. So festive !! Thank you GVR 💜

Attended the Thomas day on Saturday with our 2 year old and he loved it. Plenty to do and would consider it good value. Would be good if the scheduling of the trains could mean you get to go 1 way by steam and the other way by diesel. Would have been great to experience a bit of both. Will definitely be back for more of these events.

It's great for kids but on Thomas day out queues are a nightmare and littlies get very tired waiting in line. Need other Thomas things to distract them & Thomas shop I find needs a bit more to it.

Lovely to see the steam trains in action. Great day out with the kids. Just remember to carry your own food and drinks as there are few food stalls with limited choices.
