Had an amazing day heliskiing in really great conditions for the time of the season - we really lucked out with weather too. The team did a great job looking after us and keeping the fun safe. The bonus lunch time stop next to the lake and the trip to the West Coast over the mountains and back were just brilliant.

Employees here went above and beyond to make sure the experience was memorable and full of highs. In particular, our pilot (whose name I forget) was knowledgeable of the area and great at getting us close to the mountains while in the air for some jaw-dropping views. Not to mention a few lengthy stops, which were great opportunities for photographers and families or anyone willing to pay really. Highly recommended. Much more person experience than trips out on the fox and Franz glaciers

We had an amazing experience with Aspiring Helicopters! My partner and I took a helicopter ride to the top of Alta Tarns. The experience was truly unforgettable. Our pilot, Tim, was incredibly friendly and personable. He was also very considerate. He walked around with us at the top of Alta Tarns helping us find the perfect spots to take photos. Look no further, this is the helicopter company you have been searching for.

It was our 1st helicopter flight and what a flight it was. Cold winters morning clear sky no wind 9am flight time 20mins of wonderful views until we landed on the summit of Mount Aspiring. Powder snow views 360deg wow!! Tim our pilot told us about all the sites to look at. Recommend this for everyone my wife&myself can now tick this off our bucket list!

Aspiring have been a great help with some work projects over the summer. We have a few remote locations that cannot be driven into so having the helo option was great. Very very accurate and professional!

What an amazing experience, the scenic flight around Mt Aspiring and the local area is simply breathtaking! I can recommend it to everyone, the views of the glaciers, countless waterfalls and mountain valleys are incredible! The whole Aspiring Helicopters team is really lovely and super professional. Would totally do it again :)

We had an amazing experience with Aspiring Helicopters! We actually pre-booked another helicopter flight at Franz Josef the previous day but due to bad weather all flights were cancelled. After that, we arrived at Wanaka and since the weather forecast looked great, we thought we might try again for a flight early morning the following day. Aspiring Helicopters team was very helpful with our last minute booking, and the weather was perfect for our 8AM flight! Thank you Aspiring Helicopters :)

The best heli ride of my life!!!!!! The first day we got there it was a little windy and a little cloudy. I prepared myself to get up there but sadly the clouds had rolled in and it was too dangerous to head up, but we had thought ahead and gave ourselves a few days to redo the flight, as we all know that conditions up in the mountains are variable.. we came back the next day and it was a blessing! Dave was our pilot and wowwwww!!! The wi ds were gone, there was literally not a cloud in the sky and we ended up on a 45 min joy flight up to the Roy glacier. The views are something I will remember till the day I die!!!! You couldn't wipe the smile off my face for weeks!!! Aspiring heli made the whole experience so much fun! The team are great, the lady we met at the counter was so kind and fun to talk to! She even gave us some pointers on our upcoming trip to samoa etc. This is a must do!!!!!

Absolutely amazing experience to fly up to Mt Aspiring and get a couple of landings. The scenery was so beautiful on the peaks. Top service from the pilot/ guide for our trip.

We booked at the last minute for a One hour trip to Mt Aspiring and it was the most amazing experience, with just us two and the pilot. The staff were so helpful and friendly and went out of their way to make it a memorable experience. The trip was very good value for the time and expertise and we would do it again without hesitation. They also offer shorter trips and seem to be very flexible with times. We enjoyed the scenic drive out to catch the helicopter. It was an easy road and we preferred that to driving all the way over to Queenstown.

My friend and I booked last minute to fly to the top of Coromandel Peak, the staff were super helpful and friendly and it was really well priced. It was an unforgettable experience with the most incredible views. Highly recommend!

My wife and u did the mighty Milford sound with Davie. He was a great pilot and knew the area very well! Pointed out and could name every rock and lake basically. Always wanted to take our picture for us before we could ask. Never put us or the helicopter in any risk. Grade A+ tour. And Alex who manages the setup of the tour was very very helpful with questions and making sure the weather would be the best it could to make for a great experience! Great job Aspiring Helicopters!

Our first time in a helicopter, with a scenic flight around Mt Aspiring and the local area - just magnificent! Davie was a fantastic pilot, knew every rock and glacier and landed expertly in thick snow on a glacier and scenic lookout. Alex was also great, organizing our flight on the afternoon we called (a bluebird day) rather than risking the weather deteriorating. A memorable experience really well done by Aspiring. Amazing company. The girls at the desk were super friendly and well organised, we had Tim as our pilot and he’s just a legend who made me and my partners first time helicopter ride a super smooth experience.

Aspiring Helicopters Company is so flexible. I tried to fly with them but never happened due to I am the only one who was in their standby list for 2 days. As a result, I asked them to refund my money. They immediately did it with no hassles. Great customers support.

I've been on a couple of scenic flights (Mt Aspiring and glaciers is my favourite!) and chartered them a several times for ski trips and they are always just great! Plus perfect scenery!

Tim was a great and knowledgeable pilot. It was a wonderful ride the whole time and he even assisted in our wedding as a witness. I only wished I had asked more questions while I was there!

The folks at Aspiring Helicopters are knowledgeable, safe, professional, and the experience that they provide is second to none. A modern fleet of helicopters and a base in one of Wanaka's most beautiful locations. An absolutely exhilarating experience! First rate!!

Missed 5 chopper bookings at FJ and Fox but decided to give it one more go. The team at Aspiring were really helpful in setting up the booking, view over lake Wanaka and Rob Roy Glacier was spectacular and the kids got the snow landing they were after. Thanks a heap!
