Reviews of Parry Kauri Park
C.
Great park beautiful boardwalk through the stunning Kauri bush. New picnic tables and you can visit the Warkworth Museum for a small fee.
H.
This museum and gardens are so nice. The Kauri trees are impressive and super easy to view. The staff were lovely and we even bought some plants.
T.
Beautiful kauri trees, one of them is 800 years old and the other is 600 years old. Enjoy the walking tract which only take 25 minutes return.
S.
Quite a nice little museum, not only about Kauri but lots of history, I like the female leader addition at the back, kids enjoyed the interactive presentations... the bush walk is well worth the journey too
J.
Located just off the main highway North in Warkworth, plenty of parking
see the 800-900 year old Kauri Tree, lovely local Museum of the towns past pioneers, small gift shop. Bush walks are in the park.
V.
Beautiful park with few kaori trees which is 900 years old. The museum entry fee is $7 for adults, in which they have many interesting displays of Warkworth history and kaori gum harvesting. The walkways are beautiful and refreshing and only take you around 15 to 20 minutes to finish. There are many birds in the area too. A place to rest before going to Omaha, Goat Island or further north.
L.
Wonderful piece of history tucked away in Warkworth. Will visit next wen the museum is open
D.
This is an excellent museum. A good range of artifacts from the area. You should definitely make time for the bush walk, it takes about 25 minutes to do the loop, but it is a relatively easy walk. All in all a great way to spend an hour or so, please support this place.

I've been here a couple times. The kauri is amazing. The current owners of the reserve have done a wonderful job preserving things. It's a shame about kauri dieback as you can no longer sit under the tree.
A.
Go see it for yourself...some cool history in the little museum (paid entry) , amazing native trees, birds and a whole lot of peace and tranquility (until we arrived).
R.
The trails were well put together and the trees are beautiful.
s.

U.
Beautiful forests stunning walk but I noticed no bird life or very little I saw one bird, but it's a peice of new Zealand nature we cherish
t.
A very good walk and a nice break point on the way to pahia from Auckland
J.
Very interesting boardwalk, many steps, but manageable even for most senior citizens. Small museum on-site and a collection of plants on sale.
C.
Superbly maintained and cared for by the various organisations. Really helpful guide on duty. A working example of how the early adoption of boardwalks protected the Kauri and preserved the bush and wildlife.
S.
Sadly we only had a very short time here as we had to catch a flight but it was very heartening to see this stand of young Kauri surviving amongst the otherwise urban landscape. Two bigger trees as well and a museum and cafe.
J.
I love History and although its not a big museum it's very interesting. Plus that's my hometown.
E.
Beautiful, all natural and well maintained
D.
Beautiful scenic location. Open to the public to venture through & explore. Please follow the instructions in relation to precautions in place for the prevention of Kauri Dieback Disease being spread. To organise Group Activities, please contact the Warkworth Museum to arrange same. Great for a nature hike or photography lovers.
