Visited the museum a couple of times over the last decade, not been for years but good to see its still rocking.
Drive up the gravel driveway off SH2 by the windmill and utopia is found.

give yourself at least 2-3 hours to view everything at Mount Bruce Pioneer Museum, its well worth it..its out of Masterton on way to Mt Bruce, but tell you.. worth every minute to view it!!! How they have it in town on google beats me, its up on way to Mt Bruce on a FARM.. come on Google get real! not in town on same map as Countdown!

One man's collection, blew me away on what was in there, real hidden secret in the wairapara region. It has upstairs library too, some areas were interactive, the high lite was the 1800's milking shed and the old record player that is still playing. Tickets are $5 adults and 50 cents for kids. Take your time there's so much from yesteryear, that your grandparents or you may have even had, like cellphone brick
