Saw some amazing art in the one and only exhibit that was available for now. It us great that the items are available for sale. Loved the personalised cards, jewellery and vases. Will definitely visit this academy again when in Wellington.

Great space! A variety of artwork on show and a wonderful shop space with quality crafts,ceramic, glass and sculpture.

There are many artworks from different artists. I bought a beautiful pottery here. Worth going!

Great gallery space with interesting selection of art on display and for sale

We came here on a Tuesday afternoon. The gallery was showing art pieces created locally during lockdown, and were for sale. The paintings were interesting and different which was enjoyable. The gallery is not huge - it took us about 30minutes to complete. The staff were really friendly.

A great opportunity to view a variety of fine watercolors, ceramics and well crafted jewelry. Many excellent pieces made it difficult to vote for my favourite. Admission is free. Highly recommended.

Exhibitions vary so there's always something different every month or so. Most art/craft is for sale

Loved it. First day in Wellington, visited there after the museum next to it. It wasn't in my plan but I was so glad I dropped by. There were many good paintings with biographies of artists when I was there. The person at the cashier for goods was so nice and caring. Fell in love with the museum and city instantly.

Really love this place.. support artists based on their talents.. always have interesting collections, got to meet some of the artist yourself if you're lucky.. met Diana Conway, a sculpturer, very nice and friendly lady..

Very cool destination to be on a windy and wet Wellington afternoon. The rooms are light, bright and airy. The works are well presented and worthy of a slow browse. An eclectic mix of styles, media and presentations wiled away an hour of our time. Everything on the walls is available for purchase, from bargains through to the fanciful. A lovely gift shop at the entrance has a varied selection of quality wares to buy. Entry free with a koha requested.

So glad you are open again after lockdown. I loved the exhibition you have at present, such variety and innovation. One of my favourite places to visit in Wellington - thank you!

Outstanding displays of local art and sculpture, John was delightful and knowledgeable about everything on display...well worth a visit and 2 minutes from quayside with great views of the bay.

Superb Art Gallery with interesting, challenging and excellence in New Zealand Art. The portraiture awards exhibition ate always a hit.

The art is very well displayed - you need lots of $ to purchase but well worth a visit.

The art work in there was amazing. I felt great peace wandering around absorbing myself in the atmosphere.

Small but still very interesting. The staff are friendly and the exhibits varied. Everything for sale.
