Great store for audio products, although I only purchased from the online store, so can't say about instore. But the range of products is good and mostly only high quality products being stocked. Very satisfied with my Yamaha sound bar, and best price in NZ too. Recommended to buy audio products here.

Just the best place to go if you have ANY questions about speakers, turntables, amps.....the most knowledgeable, enthusiastic and passionate person about the products they are selling, I have ever experienced in a shop. What an experience. Can't remember the guys name (he had a beard...sorry), but top bloke...knew his stuff and felt totally safe in his hands😊

Even though I live in Tauranga I choose to deal with these guys because, quite simply, they are the best. Super friendly, super knowledgeable and will always do their best to give you a deal to get the gear that you want - even if you are a pretend audiophile. Every time I’ve dealt with them they’ve gone the extra mile so I couldn’t recommend these guys more. By the way I recommend the Cyrus One amp mated with Cyrus CDi and Focal Aria 906 speakers. Gives you an entry level (read: superb sound for ~$7k) audiophile system that streams too.👍🏼

We got a parking right outside...yay...well looked after by John who was very helpful and friendly. We have enjoyed great service from this shop for over 20 years so we keep going back for equipment upgrades.

Great store excellent range of hi end audio but I'm gonna import mine from UK or Canada with shipping and import taxes it's still way cheaper

John very friendly, went there listen to the michi s5 and p5. I havent bought anything there yet, but happy to buy it from them when the time come.

Getting back into vinyl records I did some research and decided on an entry level audiophile turntable. Paul Money offered the best price on the Pro-Ject Primary. Emailed for availability and picked it up today. Ben is very knowledgeable and a little hiccup with the belt was easily fixed (at no extra cost). Will definitely go back to upgrade my HiFi equipment in the future once I have a decent size vinyl collection. Update: Went back today for a replacement belt for the turntable. Even after three months these guys replace it for free. Asked about a DAC converter -which was sorta out of budget thinking a proper one would not be less than 2k - but the guy who helped me didn't try to sell me up, but enquired about the use and I got away with one for less than $500. We go to talk and I was taken to the listening room. Played some good tracks,had a good yarn and was just great. These guys build on long term relationships with their customers. So I highly recommend Paul Money HiFi for your audiophile equipment, even if you're on a budget.

Was deciding between this and another Hifi store and went with the best customer service over call, was PaulMoney by far. Came into the store for click and collect and service was excellent with genuine interest in the product I was buying. This will be my preferred Hifi store from now on.

Best HiFi shop on the planet. Steve is probably the guy thats the most passionate person about HiFi that I have met, and Mark is really easy to deal with. They know their stuff. Thanks guys.

I can't say enough about John, Ben and the team at Paul Money. They are knowledgeable, friendly, fair-minded and often go above and beyond to help. The shop is fairly small but home to some of the best audio gear in the country. They seem selective about what they stock so you can count on it being quality. They can advise for any budget too and are sensitive to financial constraints. I've been talked out of more expensive purchases when they felt it wouldn't add much to my system. Highly recommended.

Just bought a turntable from these guys today. Mark was my salesperson. Single handedly one of the best customer service experiences I have ever had. Mark was knowledgeable about the equipment, helpful with explaining how to set it up and more than happy to give me little tidbits to make sure I have the best time with my new products. Will only be coming to these guys in the future

Upgraded my amplifier here after buying an entry level model off them a couple of years back. Mark was extremely helpful and patient with all my questions. Highly recommend these guys. Have always pointed me in the right direction and are competitively priced.

Fantastic service from John and his team. Ordered a Yamaha network amp and they upgraded to a superior model at their cost due to temporary unavailability. How good is that? I also ordered and received Yamaha speakers from them as well. They communicated promptly and provided tracking numbers for dispatch - very clear and professional right the way through. To be quite honest I had also contacted Gary Anderson for the same amp. In terms of communication and assistance Paul Money were outstanding in comparison. Will use Paul Money in the future for sure

A small shop but with quality audio gear and John is a real old school salesman who treats you like a friend, rather than someone to make money from. I ended up buying some Dynaudio Evoke speakers after many demos and much dithering on my part. John was always patient, with great advice and prompt replies to emails. Highly recommend Paul Money for stock selection and service.

Good advice and no pressure are key to upgrades. Also having NZ based warranty goes a long way after the disasters I have had with direct overseas purchases. Friendly, knowledgeable staff, offering as many demos as you need to be confident in your purchase.

I've made a few purchases over the years from Paul Money and all have been good but my most recent purchase was online due to not living in Auckland anymore. Well done to John, outstanding customer service!! I wouldn't hesitate to do business with you again mate. Thank you.

With the help of all of the staff over a couple of visits I was able to put together a great sounding high quality “separates” system with streaming capability for my office/listening room. Pricing was good for what I got. At no stage did I feel any pressure, everyone was friendly and helpful. I have dealt with Paul Money Hi-fi many years ago, and now years later would be happy to deal with them again. Thanks.

I came in today to buy the Klipsch 5 speakers and to ask a few questions regarding hifi systems and was blown away by the amazing customer service and salesmanship of the owner John. Typically in other electronic retailers the salesperson couldn’t give you much more information than what is already on the box. John however was kind enough to answer a plethora of questions I had regarding difference in sound quality between different audio inputs, teach me about some of the terminology, set up multiple hifi systems for me to listen to at my own leisure and pace. The conversations we had at no time ever seemed rushed or felt like they were trying to ‘sell you’. It was more like one enthusiast speaking to another and nurturing one’s interest and knowledge. Paul money hifi truly seems to have the knowledge, passion and service indicative of a high end audio electronics store and I would gladly return again.

Over the last few weeks, I have been dealing with John, from Paul Money HiFi & we have been planning what is my dream High End Audio & Home Theatre System. I have dealt with John in the past as well, with other systems & in every instance, John has provided absolutely_phenominal_service, that quite frankly is well beyond extremely rare these days. John told me yesterday, he has been in the industry for 32 years & with his incredible depth of knowledge & expertise about everything you can imagine in this field, I felt absolutely assured I was going to get the best system possible for my money. John also arranged a very nice rack for all the audio equipment, which has enough room to fit all the extra components I have of my own as well & he has liaised with the installer for the installation of the x4 directional, Dolby Atmos ceiling speakers, system optimisation & mounting of the LG OLED - E9 TV onto the wall. I cannot stress enough, how absolutely amazing John is! He was absolutely Professional every step of the way, he has knowledge of the best componentry & associated cables etc, which is second to none & he is passionate & invested with what he does as a profession. I would highly recommend Paul Money HiFi to anyone, who wants the best service possible. Other staff in the store were also great to deal with as well. Great job Team!

I purchased Yamaha YSP-1600 yesterday from Paul money. I enjoyed an engaging deeper conversation about the audio technologies and the evolution of this business over time. It is hard to find someone with so much experience in this area. I had setup the system and could feel an immediate upgrade to the sound. John suggested additional components with the purchase I made, I decided to give a try without it. The system lacked the punch exactly where the additional component would have filled in. I wish I would have listened to his wise words. I will definitely go back to make this purchase and complete the system. Thanks for your suggestion and help to make this great purchase. I jhave just bought a music system from Paul Money in My Eden from Stephen and John,and I couldnt be more pleased with the quality of the components , the sound quality and the price I paid. I would thoroughly recomend this firm to anyone who is purchasing a hi fi system. They have over 30 years experience and they know their products well and provide quality servicing and they will do installations . I am most impressed. Bought a NAD stereo from them. They were one of the few stores that took the time to demonstrate different equipment. They gave a good price too. When a minor fault developed, we thought it would be a big deal to get it fixed. However, they dealt with it so quickly. Would definately recommend them. I also like the brands they sell. NAD., Mission, Wharfedale, Yamaha etc

I've always found Ben at the Albany shop really helpful. He recently went out of his way to sort out a fault on a subwoofer that was just out of it's 5 year warranty, so that it was almost totally rebuilt at no charge to me. One of the benefits of dealing with local retailers and suppliers.
