L.Popped into Rockshop on the way home tonight. Was looking for a new Guitar pedal to play with this weekend. Have stock standard stuff but wanted something different. Sammy was extra helpful (and funny mate!). Good craic and he pointed me towards the BOSS Tera Echo. Just to let you know Sammy it is awesome. I've only had it 2 hours and it was everything you promised! Great service with a smile and knowledgeable and prepared to help a guy like me who is returning to playing after years in the wilderness. My wife went here for my Xmas present and Sammy pointed her to the RC-300 looper as well. A definite win. Thanks mate. See you next time.....soon!

Sammy and all the staff are great I have never had a bad experience in this store.
They get very busy and take time to spend time with the customer's this means that some times you have to wait in a queue for service, but hey at least they don't just grab your money and usher you out the door and take time to listen and answer your questions.

C.I went in with a query and had quite a wait as 2 staff were on the phone and 1 had a customer. Eye contact and a quick word of customer service welcome would have been nice. I waited patiently by the counter. Finally, I was assisted, and got a helpful response to my query. I suggest that a brief word and smile to acknowledge a person ASAP is a good way to make a wait a little more comfortable.

It could be really pretentious, but thankfully isn't. It's not about ability, but rather love for music.

G.The Albany rockshop has a huge range of musical equipment. It caters for most musical interests and with KBB attached you have all the classical instruments there also.
They stock entry level equipment as well as some really high end expensive stuff. The staff are very helpful and willing to let you try instruments and amplifiers out even if you aren't the most musically talented.
They are good with free advice and will let you bring in equipment for checking and repairs. They know their stuff and I found them friendly.
You can also get tons of pedals, music books, picks, leads, effects, keyboards, software etc.
