I’m from Christchurch and have bought 2 items online from music machine. They are always easy to communicate with, and items had no issues. They are very competitive with their prices compared to other shops. I only wish you had a branch or located here In christchurch so I could hang around and visit the shop.

Absolutely would not of been and done what I have done musically had it not been for the team at the music machine. Ritchie is one of the greatest people to gtace Hawke's Bay with his presence and helps anyone who walks through the door. Him and the team have looked after me since I was 8 years old. Best service you could ever hope to receive. I got my first guitar here aged 11, my second guitar here, my third guitar here oh and my fourth guitar here. Richie & the team will go above and beyond to get you sorted. And if you're lucky you'll be offered a cup of tea! The only downside is how brilliant the products are. You'll walk in to get a set of strings and walk out with 2 new pedals, a downpayment on a new electric & will have completely forgotten about the strings.

After weeks of searching and countless emails and phone calls to various music shops in Auckland (who never replied, or simply didn't want to help me) I gave up on shopping local and found Music Machine. From first contact, Richie and the rest of the team went above and beyond to help me get what I was after (and get me a better deal than anywhere else I had seen advertised). It's been a few months wait for my guitar as it arrived from the States, but communication has been regular the whole time with fast responses (often within the hour, and with updates from the supplier). Napier isn't exactly convenient for me but my experience has left me wondering how other music stores are still in business! Music Machine: Come for the guitars - Stay for the service! 10/10

Used to spend time noodling away in guitar shops 40 years back and Music Machine has the same vibe. Nothing is too much trouble, good support and always ready to share their extensive experience. A den for muso's and a treasure trove with something for all levels. The guys don't sell anything....the gear just asks to be taken home!! I spent time there as a kid when it was Harstons and the ambience hasn't evaporated.
