E.Brad and his team are fantastic! Quick to respond to emails, offer lots of advice and options, workmanship is excellent (and they always keep you up to date with how things are progressing and confirm with you before carrying out any work), and instruments are well packaged when returned via courier. Very knowledgable and great at sourcing gear for you as well.
A.Brad is really great to deal with. He is friendly, helpful and honest. I was able to try out several flutes to see which one I preferred. I feel I got the best flute on the market for my budget. I'd recommend Brad to anyone wanting to purchase a woodwind instrument in Wellington!
P.Brad was absolutely fantastic. I had heard great news about Vanguard Orchestral, but we live in Auckland. On a business trip to Wellington I went down to see if they could give me some advice for my daughter who needs to move from a rental after 3 years. Brad was thorough, professional, patient and exceptionally helpful. The made living in another city other than Wellington not a problem at all. M.Brad helped me choose (he had a variety of instruments for me to play) and eventually buy a beautiful professional grade flute which I have been enjoying very much. I will also be taking it back in for a tune-up after about eight weeks and then again at the one-year mark as part of Vanguard Orchestral's commitment to me and to making sure my beautiful Muramatsu flute settles correctly. If you are looking a good instrument to purchase, I recommend Brad and Vanguard Orchestral unreservedly.
