B.Not an ideal music venue in terms of setup (long narrow space) but has the best gigs in ChCh, great beers and decent food
M.An awesome live music venue, with plenty of outdoor space, all in the very cool precinct of The Tannery.
F.I did a performance there, it was a wonderful little place, with cute decor, lovely staff, and I really appreciative crowd. It’s approximately 200 people. It’s a place to dance and listen to live music. Also to get a few drinks and have a good time. The great thing about it is it is located inside a pretty cute little indoor shopping strip. The bad thing is that if you’re staying in Christchurch it’s approximately a 20 minute drive to get here.
N.Great venue excellent bar facility and atmosphere.Clean bathroom facilities and very good catering for any big function.We attended a mid winter company night out large group of people with a live band. Excellent staff service also.

A.Great atmosphere, excellent service and superb live music on Friday night, 13 March. Vocalist Adam Hattaway and Liam Quinn, with a great Jazz band playing "A Tribute to Van Morrison". A superb show by all involved. Sorry I don't know the others names.

Cant dance properly for bumping into others and they constantly into us.
We are alcohol free so you can rule that one out.
Would have been far more enjoyable with more space and available seating for respite.
K.The Cassels Blue Smoke was the very first bar/music place I went to after turning 18 and I'm glad it was. The atmosphere was amazing, everyone was so friendly and helpful and the music was astounding. The craft beers on tap were great as well, a high recommendation from me. I'll definitely be going back when I get the chance

T.Our school year had a private reunion here at Blue Smoke. The venue was excellent. Staffing was excellent and very friendly. Food and beverage was lovely. Highly rate beers. They put up with us reliving our youth. Thanks for the service guys.
D.Really cool venue for live music. I seen the Beths who were incredible and just thought the venue lended itself to a quality experience. Bar runs length of room so easy to get served and staff were numerous and fast so getting a drink was easy enough. Sound was great and back of room was great to get a bit of space and hear people talk.

T.Excellent service and attention to detail. Hosted a large group at the Wine Bar in Feb 2015 and was very pleased with the quality of food and the service provided. Great atmosphere in the Tannery too. I've never felt compelled to write a review before so there you go.

M.Ate at the Wine Bar as the kitchen wasn't yet open. Probably the best thing ever about this place is the Riedel wine glasses. I'd totally go back there to drink from those fine vessels. We have pretty much tasted everything on the tapas lunch menu and it's all pretty good - fave would be the mushrooms with the goat cheese although I think they are on the small side for the price. Smoked ling croquettes were really good too, as was the salmon. We left happy!

H.Beautiful interiors with a lot of hard wood and dark colours create a great atmosphere for both a relaxed eating/drinking experience and for live music. With a team of lovely, helpful staff this place makes for a great night out.

B.Fantastic performance by the Scottish band Shoogenlify. Worth every cent. Great to have a place like Blue Smoke it is certainly a venue that enhances such acts.

T.Really enjoyed Louis Baker but the venue, rectangular with stage at narrow end, is the wrong format for this type of big crowd gig. Need a wider space where more of the audience can be engaged with the performers 😊
