Five (million) stars... And that's just when you look up. The accommodation is outstanding, the staff are amazing and the location is stunning. We stayed in the First Light Villa, with great views across the bay from your hot tub during the day and no light pollution for stargazing at night. We are very sad to leave this little piece of paradise behind...

Eagles Nest has very exotic homes with amazing construction, design, and location; and you can RENT THEM! If travelling to New Zealand, or if you live there, we recommend to take a few days at Eagle’s Nest and you’ll have memories to last a lifetime. We had a meal cooked in-house for us. The chef was content to cook and not engage us, but we felt chatty and had a great conversation with a fascinating person. Also recommend (why not, while your at it?) the massage in house. We stayed in the First Light Temple. Middle class people like us can’t stay at places like this very often, but for a rare splurge this is the experience of a lifetime.

This is a place of yes. The service is as exceptional as the views. If they can accommodate your request then they probably will. Beautiful accommodation in a beautiful location, expensive though.
