We stayed at Qt for the first time 2 weeks ago for 2 nights and we loved it. The decor, the room, the service were all 5 star and great attention to detail. We have stayed in quite a few hotels and I have to say that QT really tops it. It really ticked all the boxes including location and cleanliness. The balcony view over the harbour was the cherry on top. This will become our place to stay when visiting Wellington. Highly recommended.

Second stay at QT and it's a bit disappointing the rooms need maintenance but the front desk blew me off when I called about the clogged sink. I understand precautions are necessary but it's also nice when your bathroom sink can fully drain in under 5 minutes (gross). Also, the bathroom tile had a good 5cm chuck in it where you could see the original floor. We ordered room service on the first day because I had work to do and the $30 cheeseburger was hands down the worst burger I've ever eaten. The location is good because it's central to heaps of things but the hotel is showing its age and needs updates.

I stayed in QT Wellington for 2 nights. Firstly, interesting design of the interior. Our room is very comfortable which is a plus. However, I think instead of the bathtub that should make more space for the shower because there is no blind or glass between the shower to the rest of the bathroom which can makes a mess.

Very luxury hotel with especially great bar service. Staff are very nice people and rooms are nice. There is a pool, spa, sauna and gym all of which are good. In the lobby and around the hotel is a lot of cool, quirky art which is awesome!

I really enjoyed my stay here. I had the executive studio room and I loved everything about it. The hotel is suave and cool. Covered in artwork and memorabilia. Has a small gym, pool and sauna and the room had a gorgeous rain shower and jet bathtub. Honestly one of the coolest and nicest places I’ve stayed in.

Very much enjoyed the interior and being surrounded by so much art. We had a 6th floor harbour view room which was great. The room facilities are good, the location superb. It's great to have a choice of restaurant on site and neither disappointed! The staff were lovely. The pool could have done with a thorough clean though. We'll definitely stay again.

Had a another great night here. Loved my room and brilliant service. Alas, the room service meal was terrible .... But will always come and stay here ♡

Exemplary! Check in staff were very welcoming , friendly and efficient . The room was ready early and they also had no problem granting me late check out. My room was clean, good shower and comfortable bed. Well stocked mini bar and nespresso coffee made me feel spoilt. Restaurant staff can not be faulted . Breakfast menu catered for all tastes . Very cost effective if included in your room price . Great ambiance in bar with a good range of cocktails . I had to amend my booking numerous times due to flight cancellations and they were extremely accommodating at the last minute . I spent three nights here and then opted to do ‘hotel hopping’ as my return flight was cancelled on short notice four days in a row ! I thought this to be a good opportunity to explore more of Wellington hotels . I experienced from 5 star to modern and funky. In comparison to the other four , I would rate QT top of the list and will definitely return .

OK. Mixed feelings Great location , staff super helpful but rooms lightly overpriced . Rooms starting to get a little rundown. Lobby bar is a great start to the evening. My suite had zero view like a prison that was the worst

Amazing staff (lady in green sorry I can't spell your name was a highlight and beyond accommodating with our questions). All staff were pleasant, rooms were excellent, amazing view from harbourside. Breakfast solid. Small welcoming touches in room were pleasant First time I will come back to a location solely cos of service. Well done team!

Hit and miss. Came for a conference, very little communication from the staff, most looked very lifeless which was a bit sad. Rooms were nice, bathrooms need a touch up and more ventilation, was pretty ominous looking at part of the roof which looked like it could fall with the slightest push.

Beautiful hotel, very premium room and the tiny attention to details really made our trip! If you want to stay in affordable luxury it is a must!

From the moment we checked in service was amazing, our room wasn't ready yet and the staff offered us a round of drinks and some fries while we waited, the room was better than anything we could have expected all the wonderful small touches like having music playing in the room when we arrived and the rain shower with a detachable shower head just made this place better than exceptional. The bed is the most comfortable bed I've ever experienced in my life. This stay was made amazing by Chris who checked us in and made sure everything was perfect

Beautiful place. The art on the walls are spectacular and stunning Glassworks on display throughout. We had a beautiful harbour view. Thank you. We will definitely be back.

We were given a voucher to stay here and given the quality, it is unlikely we would stay upon our own merits. Exceptionally overpriced rooms, disorganised staff and sloppy service from the valet (and also, overpriced). We arrived in the rather empty Hippopotamus Restaurant for our a la carte breakfast at around 8:30am yet we didn't get our food until nearly 9:30am. Although that is not a long wait time, the quality was not worth it. There was a young girl that was obviously in training wearing casual jeans and a cropped top that had her stomach showing, setting tables. We found this to be unusual and rather inappropriate given the attire of the rest of the staff and the standard of the hotel. However, the room itself was lovely, comfy bed and beautiful views. The bath was a little underwhelming and the hot/cold came out the opposite to what it was labelled and we were given barley enough milk to make one Nespresso coffee. You are definitely only paying the big dollars for the location, not the quality. Very average for 5 star.

Reception staff were so lovely, King harbour view room was just amazing, so comfortable and well stocked with goodies! Can't wait to stay again!

The location of QT is great, as it's close to the supermarket, museum, harbour, cinema etc. The hotel has some interesting art. The lobby area is a comfortable spot for a drink. My only disappointment was that the cups provided in the room were dirty when we arrived (they had chocolatey lip stains). I was curious about the cleaning standards, so I left a little mark on the cups to see if they were changed over each day, and unfortunately they weren't changed during our three day stay. Given the room only has bathroom basins, no kitchenette, I don't like to think about how the cleaners wash them. I think that at over $200 per night the hotel could afford to take cups away and give you fresh ones each day.

The hotel was good but could have been great. Lovely views amazing art great location. But we paid the same price as our friends who had a much bigger room. They also had a bath and a towel rail which we did not. The rooms were serviced late in the day. On day 3 it was 6.05pm. The person looked exhausted so we said don't bother just give us clean towels, tea and milk. The spa pool was too hot for me to get in but the lap pool was great. And the lifts were extremely dark.

Amazing hotel. They went above and beyond and the dessert plate which welcomed us when we arrived was very special.

Remember when the Michael Fowler Hotel was on the waterfront across the road! What an amazing move to let Te Papa take it's spot.

We had a very enjoyable 2 night stay here. There was a slight problem on arrival regarding an upgrade to a room with a Harbour view that I had requested 2 weeks ago , the receptionist worked hard to sort it out , found us a great room with view and upgraded us at no extra charge, great service. There were a few very minor hiccups with housekeeping and we were disappointed that the Hippotomus Restaurant is only open on limited days, and not during our stay, that is why only 4 stars not 5.

Stunning place to stay, so modern and cool! Everything went perfectly for our weekend stay. I just lovedddd the big bath and all the extra toiletries you provide (even cleanser and a bath soak) Honestly there is nothing I wouldn't change and we have been to many hotels but you are doing everything right! Ok, not all it’s cracked up to be, good location but indifferent staff, apart from those serving breakfast they were spot on, just a hotel trying to be chic and on trend. + location - staff and overall offering.

Beautiful place, although extremely dark on the inside, and confusing which elevator to use if you're not helped. Beautiful bed, amazing bathroom although tiles are slowly breaking, and only get the smallest amount of toilet paper for a 2 x day stay (less than half a roll) for 2 people.

We enjoyed our stay. Room was nice and hotel is child-friendly. The food and beverage credit deal was great. Buffet breakfast is quite basic. Handy location to The Papa and restaurants.

We stayed on the 4th floor in the king rooms for a few nights and was absolutely amazed, we fell in love with this building and our room was just the icing om the cake. We stayed in room 434 which was a gallery room and it was simply stunning. I'm guessing the side we stayed on are the recently renovated rooms so I definitely recommend the king rooms if choosing to stay here. Our room was modern and fresh and the cleanliness was just superb. Will definitely come back again.

Great room, we had a superior king on 5th floor. Very clean & had everything we needed. Reception staff very helpful and friendly. Hotel is handy to shops, waterfront and bars/restaurants. We will definitely be back to stay again.

King deluxe room great size, well appointed, with excellent bathroom & very comfortable bed & pillows. Fantastic location making lots of inner Wellington at your door step. Friendly staff

I love the Museum Hotel, its quirky, fun and everything is perfect. This place ticks every box and some, Even if I were a really picky person, I would struggle to fault this place. -Comfortable beds -Close to everywhere -Staff attentive and friendly -Tasteful and well equipped Dont stay anywhere else in Wellington now :)

Coming as I do from a relatively petite-bourgeois/proletarian upbringing, the decidely aristocratic post-avant garde décor of the QT left me somewhat flapped. The lobby and rooms were certainly beautiful in an artistic sense. I feel at odds about the dearth of amenities, being as used as I am to motels and AirBnBs coming with full whiteware. But, the whakataukī about apples and oranges applies. The spa was hot and a centrepoint of cosmopolitan mingling. A quizical eight thumbs up.

It might be QT branded now, but will always be the Museum Art Hotel in my heart. I am so glad to see that the fundamental principle behind this hotel hasn't changed, and they have embraced the quirky nature of the art that the original owner included as part of the handover to QT. The services is amazing, the staff are ever helpful, the food is gorgeous, the rooms delectible, views to the harbour and a quality not often found in high end hotels: dark, brooding, mysterious and sophisticated. Visit because it's luxurious and comfortable. Visit to see the unique art on display. Either way, give it a visit.

Friendly staff. Lovely rooms. restaurant great but not a great selection on bar meal and these were quite expensive

We arrived at the hotel at 9.30 pm , not sure where reception was as first time guests , the helpful but hoodie wearing concierge( we had absolutely no idea who he was) directed us to the correct location . I was dismayed to find a 2% credit card surcharge when we could have paid in advance or brought alternative payment had we known. Check in was brisk and super impersonal and thus we headed for our suite ... on first inspection it seemed wonderful.... lovely ambience with lights and music on ...and certainly spacious, regrettably we were unable to make a cuppa without calling housekeeping as everything was dirty in the dishwasher. Daylight revealed that our room was somewhat shabby... although certainly clean and well appointed but most definitely tired . The next day at 7pm housekeeping detritus was still all over our hallway - dirty linen bags , bins, vaccum cleaner, and the following day even though we were out 9am - 4.30pm our room was untouched by housekeeping- not what I expect from a 3 night stay .Overall we did enjoy our stay ... certainly the surroundings were lovely but we had zero experience, certainly not what we were expecting. We would try again when in Wellington as for us the location was prime but the staffing and lack of attention to any detail sadly really let a lovely hotel down for us .

Good location, handy to Te Papa and nightlife. Great art gallery in every corridor. A long gallery of WOW costumes greets arrivals. Helpful concierge unloads baggage before car is whisked away to an offsite location by a valet. The lifts and hallways are quite dark. In room dining or a choice of a-la-carte menu in the hippopotamus restaurant. Comfy bed with choice of pillows and cushions. Endless range of lighting options. Enormous bathroom with walk-in wet area shower - ceiling shower rose as well as hand-held sliding bar option AND a bath. Plenty of towels and toiletries. In-room range of alcohol and snacks. Cards, dominoes, puzzle too. Nice touches like robe and umbrella available. Amazing bar area in foyer with comfy seating.

If you are travelling for business, you will be delighted. Plenty of space to work, good lighting, extremely comfortable, all the little touches that make the week even better, close to everything. I can't recommend QT enough.

Lovely ambiance but indifferent service attitude. Not bad but just average. In-room dining service is rigid. Service with a smile absent. Broken phone in room was inconvenient. Furniture is artistic but the seating is quite uncomfortable.

A great place to stay whether you are in Wellington for business or pleasure. The location is fantastic, there is a Supermarket next door and only ~5 min walk to Courtney Pl, and ~10min to Cuba St. The hotel lobby had great ambience and there was artwork all throughout the hotel. The rooms are spacious, modern and clean. The bathroom is contemporary with a full bath which was a nice surprise and very inviting after a long day. The staff were efficient and attentive, and they even have a concierge service at the front of the hotel which I did not expect nowadays. Valet parking is available but a bit steep at $40 per night. Highly recommended.

Quirky artsy boutique hotel in the heart of Wellington. Not easy to operate and maintain standard with skeleton staffing esp during challenging time. Would appreciate if disposable slippers were supplied. Very satisfied with room service, delicious and prompt. Keep it up!!

Still at this moment deciding, 1st night spent there upon arrival after the official check in time my room was dusty. Surfaces had not been cleaned. Tap ware water marks and dust settled on bath tsp ware. Mini bar cabinet vomplete with contents dusty. Ok it continues but with a positive at the end I hope. Contacted reception complained about the above and they were so apologetic, that's expected but all I need is genuine understanding and some detail to clean where it's the norm. Left my room for the day and as they said tops an hour was needed I returned just before 9PM some 6 hours latter and to my annoyance obvious areas I pointed out were not even touched. I called duty manager at that time he came to my room I ran my finger over those areas and he saw what I meant... oddly he was. Silent, I was annoyed and angered and the next morning I met with the GM Garth. He was under no illusion of my concerns and assured me it'll be sorted. I left for the day and on return I requested he accompanied me to inspect he assured me he was confident.. so again I gathered dust in two obvious places which should not be dusty and what do ya know.... dust. TBC I left the room with the GM stunned for words. Set up a sit down meeting with him the next day. No charge fir accommodation and if I was to return, which I had to he assured there would be no further problems and offered a special tariff. We did return and it was a lovely stay. I believe he managed to sort their problems out. Good job.

Beautifully decorated and set up. Location is amazing . One word of warning..DO NOT STAY IN ROOM 104( apartment) it is a terribly located room. U cant open the curtain coz u look into the fitness centre and like every abyss ever, it looks back! The noise from treadmills etc reverberates in room 104. Its an accessible unit( no idea why i was given that room) with. Wheelchair accessible showers etc( still no idea why i gave them this vibe to deserve this room) at 1 am there seems to be a cleaning regime that is loud and very annoying. Bangs on the wall reverberate on ur headboard, BUT the staff are amazing, the art work is quirky and cool! I loved my stay except for the horror that is room 104!!

Great atmosphere, all throughout the hotel. Great experience with advanced checking in and bag storage. Clean, comfortable room with a lot of "personality" (interior design)

Definitely a beautiful hotel HOWEVER 3 stars for room being run down - 2 lights out of 3 in bathroom not working, noisy because windows didn’t shut properly. Fridge missing a shelf.no TV in bedroom. Plus is comfy bed, brilliant location, great food, accomodating to late check out, good mini bar, nice bath. Overall I would stay again.

A very arty hotel. Huge art covers the walls and there is a very large metal - enamel cow in the foyer. Sculptures, paintings, pottery, a ducatti motorbike are some of the things to look at. A very nice bedroom, a delicious breakfast with a great view and friendly staff. You do need to pay $40 per night for valet parking. We enjoyed our 2 night stay in Wellington. Very handy location to the waterfront, shops and Courtenay Place.

Free to view Art Collection on ground floor. Amazing variety but no info about the artworks means its a 4 rather than a 5 star review. Great way to spend 15 minutes if you're passing

We loved our stay at the QT! It was for the night after our wedding and the staff went over and above for us; even including a beautiful congratulations card and some sweet treats in our room for when we got in. The rooms were stunning and we were blown away by the art pieces all throughout the hotel. We will definitely be staying here again in future. Convenient location right at the heart of the waterfront.

Lovely hotel, book an hour before arrival and got an amazing service. Had trouble getting on the elevator but the staff had no trouble helping me out and providing me with ad much help as I needed. The room was beautiful. Love the spa bath. Nice local getaway.

Staff were amazing, very friendly went out of their way to help celebrate my husband's birthday. Room was very nice, clean and well St out. Did not like the idea of looking out to Brock and mortar for our view. Highly recommend😀

The hotel itself is amazing, there are endless pieces of art to view. The location is great, right by the water as well as the city. I think the details of comfort and cleanliness could be improved on. - In the 1 bedroom apartment there was no fan or aircon in the actual bedroom so the door needed to remain open to the living area. This kind of defeated the purpose of getting a 1 bedroom apartment. - The bed was extremely uncomfortable for 2 people, felt all the movement from my partner as well as springs in the bed. - The bathroom was large however there was very minimal bench space which made it hard to unpack and there was also no defogging fan which meant you had to wait a bit for the glass to clear after showers. We paid for the buffet breakfast with our package and I wish we hadn’t. Each morning we went at least something was missing or food had run out. We had to let the staff know to replenish food as they didn’t appear to check themselves. Overall the stay was good, I just think with some minor improvements here and there it could be amazing.

Found the room we stayed in, was very tatty & dated. Some staff uninterested with their day to day duties. Lucky to be 4 star hotel.

Very comfy bed and lovely decor..bit disappointing at 8am on first morning not to have any food in the buffet replenished faster/continously,and coffee never available at buffet unless you asked for it then not ready for a while when you did ask..this happened over our 2 mornings..2nd morning at least later at 9am when we went in, there was food this time..service could have been better..otherwise a nice place to stay

Had a few problems with our room however the staff tried their best to fix them. Accommodating, attentive and friendly young staff at front of house, bar, restaurant and housekeeping. Great value for money with breakfast inclusive and a drink each on each day. Very artistic and original decor throughout.

Expectation vs reality. Paid for a harbor view upgrade and got no harbour view. Complained to the gentleman at reception who checked me in and he said it is a Harborview room, the hotel manager has deemed it a harbour view room sorry. The next morning I went to get the details of the hotel manager to make a complaint and a different gentleman working at reception was kind enough to offer me an actual Harborview room. I was immediately moved to a new room higher up so I could see the harbour and wow what an amazing difference! Faith restored in QT Wellington. And the harbour view is wonderful.

My husband and I stayed here during our trip to Wellington and loved it! Perfect location, great sized room with view of the water, cool artwork everywhere you look, and breakfast at Hippopotamus was delicious. Would absolutely recommend!

Fabulous place to stay for a quick trip to Wellington. Love the character and style of this hotel. We were upgraded and given a late checkout along with a discount for the restaurant. The staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Loved our rooms, comfortable beds, good water pressure and everything we needed to really enjoy our stay. Even the room service was unexpectedly quick. We had a great time and would love to stay again.

Quick trip Only spent one night but service was outstanding from check in to check out. 5 star all the way. Did not eat in the restaurant but it looked good and will stop in next time im in Welly. The rooms were very clean well equipped and funky. To top it off the beds were simply the best. Looking forward to my next visit!

Second time staying at QT Wellington and the second time round was absolutely unforgettable. We stayed in the Gallery Harbourview King roomand loved the views out to the changing landscape of Wellington harbour. The artwork around the Hotel is something else which adds to the unique quirkiness mixed with stylish luxury that one is treated too when staying at QT Wellington. We also dined at one of QT's restaurants 'Hot Sauce'. Some of the best asian fusion cuisine that my partner and I had ever tasted. The decor and atmosphere were great and it would be a fantastic place to warm a night up on the town after dinner. We had buffet breakfast the following morning in Hippopotamus and couldn't fault the selection on offer. Thanks once again QT, 10/10, we will be back again!

Big size rooms Clean Modern with a funky feel to it Great location, close to lots of good restaurants

We love the spacious room, cleanliness and service. All the art in the lobby is always great. Sadly the hippocampus restaurant was closed this time due to Covid19 But we will be back as this is our 3rd stay here

I enjoyed the 2 nights stay with two daughters and one granddaughter. The art work was interesting, service great and clean room. The adjoining restaurant Hot Sauce had nice food and the hotel breakfast was delicious with plenty of options. Would definately stay again. Only complaint was we had to request the coffee capsules that hadn't been replaced for our coffee machine and behind the beds needed a vacuum.

The studio suites need some work (paper-thin walls and single glazed windows which leads to neighbour and road noise) but the price was good and the hotel was nice and central so it was easy to get around.

Locality was excellent. Bed was really good. No towel rails in the bathroom and not a lot of space to put your suitcases. Staff at check in/reception could have informed/given us a key for the swimming pool. Plus no instructions to work the coffee machine in our room. Great selection for breakfast with helpful staff.

Super handy to everywhere. Well priced and well appointed rooms with the most comfy bed. Late check out no problem will be back.

Excellent place to stay. Brilliant position in Cuba Street which buzzes with life and allows easy access to many of the attractions that Wellington offers. Plenty of nearby places to eat, including in the hotel itself. Lovely big rooms, clean and well equipped, comfortable beds and reasonably priced. Great to have access to a swimming pool and jacuzzi, although not so much fun having to go outside to access it on a rainy night!

What a great place to stay. The staff are helpful and friendly. The artwork is amazing. Our room was outstanding. Clean, great bed, great shower and an amazing view from our balcony. The hotel made our weekend in Wellington very special. The location is superb. Thank you.

From the moment we walked in , to the moment we left we were treated like royalty. The facilities are fantastic and spotlessly clean , but all that is overshadowed by the fantastic ambience and amazing art works that grace the premises. The Hotel is a place every Wellingtonian should be proud of , and it adds to the character of the city. Fantastic location is an added bonus. We won't be staying anywhere else next time we visit Wellington

AAA+++ No hesitation in recommending this hotel. Beautiful artworks on display including sculpture and paintings. Very friendly staff and very nice buffet breakfast. Well appointed, comfortable rooms. Looking forward to staying again, Thanks.

Fun, different, comfortable. It’s our go-to hotel in Wellington. My only complaint is that the bathrooms need a refurb at some point.

Very good choice to stay. The hotel is full of art. Lovely decorated with warm and comfortable interior. The concierge very helpful. We had an apartment, because of washing machine. Spacious room. Nice bathroom with tub and shower gel and shampoo provided. If you come by car, petrol station is on the way, if you are coming from the north. Breakfast is very good, fresh juices, smoothies, cereals, yoghurt, eggs. But it is definitely MUCH TO COLD in the Hippopotamus Restaurant.

QT is a wonderful place to stay, the art, the atmosphere and the friendly staff will make your stay amazing. The apartments are spacious and tastefully decorated with everything you could need for your stay. Beds are comfortable, the WiFi is fast and free, the bar is open late. Breakfast is also solid if you choose to eat in the morning. Best of all, in the city but a very quick 15 minute trip to the airport pending traffic for easy quick trips to the capital. Highly recommended.

Clean tidy high quality hotel, beautiful art displayed throughout and nice pool/spa/ gym. Rooms well presented with heat pump in rooms, espresso machines, comfortable and modern. Only fault was there was no tap with tea area so was going to shop to purchase water for hot drinks (other option was to use water from bathroom).

Love the design of the hotel, so much interesting artwork on every wall. Every room has a different piece of art in it with a little board about the artist just outside the room. Staff are really helpful and make the extra effort to make your stay special. Room is clean, comfy and a good size.

The absolute best of New Zealand experiences. Staff absolutely delightful. Low key but attentive. Hotel sophisticated and extremely comfortable. Nothing is missed in attention to detail. Quality spacious room with luxury facilities and very comfortable beds. Interior was beautifully styled and incredibly clean. We upgraded our suite to get the spa bath and it was totally worth the extra $$$. Not a cheap a hotel but you definitely get what you pay for - quality luxury accomodation. Only disappointment was the pool and spa pool being shut for maintenance but I would definitely come back to stay when I visit Wellington in future.

Our favourite hotel in Wellington. We’ve been coming here for years for valentines, anniversaries and opportunities for child free weekends. It has a few quirks: the fitness centre is looking a bit tired; our last room had two tvs (only one of which worked) and three remotes (only one of which worked), an odd mix of seating, and only enough milk in the fridge for a thimble of tea; and, if you don’t have a credit card on check in, they add a $300 temporary bond to your bill - so make sure your bank account has some stretch. But all of this is balanced out by the atmosphere of the place, including the artwork; the views and location; and the epic breakfasts in Hippopotamus (which are worth adding to your bill). Recommended.

Location is excellent. Gym/pool is nice also. Rooms are a bit dated and the cleanliness of the rooms was lacking. On our first night, we discovered a sock (not belonging to us) and garbage underneath the bed. We've stayed in 3 other QT hotels (Melbourne, Sydney, Queenstown) and this was the poorest overall.

The artwork and layout of the hotel is amazing, worth a wander through the foyer just for that alone. The staff are professional and ready to help - just right. The rooms (apartment) are a decent size, but the bathroom layout is a little odd (especially the shower) but not an issue. There is a coffee machine and a half decent kitchen if you feel like dining in too. Personal dislike is the 'key in the slot' by the door for the lights. Being almost in the heart of the city, the evenings are a very short stroll away, or go for a wander along the waterfront after brunch - great location!

Great location and large rooms. Nice decor and large new bathroom. A few odd noises during the night, and you can hear people out on the street if they're yelling... But they were few and far between. Lovely staff and easy access via car. Would definately recommend.

We stayed here on two separate occassions. One of the most unique deco styles we ever saw. Staff was super nice and friendly, we got a bottle of champagne waiting for us in the room (we just got married on the day). Very good memories here. The hotel, rooms, lobby were very good, clean and well maintained. If we ever come back to Wellington, this is where we are going to stay.

Fantastic service from the moment I stepped out of the taxi. Very cool vibe. Standard, smallish room, but beautifully appointed. Room service from Hippopotamus restaurant was absolutely delicious and I'm looking forward to breakfast in the restaurant. Linen, towels, mattress etc are all excellent. Very pleased with my choice of hotel. Will stay here again.

We recently stayed here, and loved it, breakfast in the hippopotamus room was a treat, very interesting,gorgeous decor and artwork throughout the hotel, Te Papa just across the road.

Room is clean, there is a small mini kitchen in the room and provided a lot of cooking materials as well as cutlery and the bed is very comfortable. The location of the place is very good. There are a lot of restaurants near the area and Te Papa Museum which is really nice. The service of the place is good with friendly staff. The hotel is quite small compared to other hotels. But still, it is a nice experience

Just got back from a one night stay-first time there. My wife and I absolutely loved everything about the hotel from the funky decorations to the friendliness of the staff. The highlights of our stay were superb cocktails made by Alex in the bar and a delicious dessert that looked so good it was almost a shame to eat it. We will be loyal repeat customers!

Although, on the exterior this place looks outstanding, it lacks heart. To the staff working here, its just a job. The reception staff made us feel like we were an inconvenience just for checking in and out. No smiles or warmth. The door to our room and the bathroom looked like something from the youth hostel down the road- shaky and tired with paint chips. The bathroom didn't feel that clean. The stairwell felt like a service entrance and not suitable for a hotel charging $200+ per night. The barman and bar were suburb. Overall a mediocre experience for such an upmarket establishment.

Great hotel stay at this amazing hotel - attentive staff, helpful with booking some tours around town, and clean amenities. Well stocked bar/cafe, awesome art work in the lobby itself. The room was clean, looked after, and everything worked as you expect it to. On the waterfront os it was great to be able to just walk out, cross the road and go for a run. The one down side was the construction work with scaffolding all over the facade, but there was no undue noise, and it didn't really detract from the stay. Would look into staying here again when I'm back in Wellington.

Really great hotel. I am staying in one of the apartment units for about 2 weeks and so far it has been fantastic. The gym / pool / hot tub facilities are super clean and of high quality. The room I have is very comfortable with good lighting, a clean and big bathroom, as well as decent quality kitchen utilities such as coffee / stovetops / oven. The hotel is very fancy in the lobby and if you appreciate art you will love the atmosphere.

Breakfast upstairs in Hippopotamus is delightful. The hotel corridors are small and dark. The superior king room is marginally larger than the bed. The first room we were given had a toilet attached on only one side. Toiletries, towels, and shower are nice. Bed is moderately comfortable. The art throughout the hotel may appeal or may not. Location is very good for Te Papa, the waterfront, and Courteney Place.

Tayla! There was this absolutely lovely receptionist that honestly made my day. Tayla couldn't have known the rough day I had had and she gave me sunshine on quite possibly one of my cloudiest days. She didn't hesitate to accommodate any of my multiple queries and no question was too silly haha. I am the director of my own company and also have multiple people working for me - I would take her for whatever she wanted. Keep her engaged, because she will be snatched up if you don't. A very special hotel indeed. The art on the walls is beautiful and makes this a unique experience in itself. The rooms are spacious (ours felt like a mini apartment with a washing machine, dishwasher, cooker and many other amenities), the beds are comfy, the location is great and the breakfast is super yummy. Highly recommended!

I recently was at a training event at Museum Hotel. The hotel is beautiful. The food was great; pastries were opera cake with gold leaf, beautiful meringue nests with passionfruit curd. The bread was even warmed. Decent coffee. Unfortunately there was no protein options for vegetarians. This may have been the oversight of the company hosting the event. The conference room chairs were uncomfortable to sit in all day. But most chairs are. All in all, a wonderful venue.

This is a lovely hotel for the discerning traveller who likes quirky artwork, a fabulous seafront location especially close to Te Papa the National Museum and a friendly "can do" atmosphere form the staff. Enjoyed our stay and the breakfasts are good.

What an amazing place! Fun, arty yet sophisticated decor. Perfect location in city, within walking distance of everything. Our room was perfect, cannot fault anything! As for the service...the staff were excellent, with just the right mix of friendly and professional. I will defintely be staying there again and recommend it to anyone coming to Wellington.

Conveniently located, clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. The only negative of my stay was my room (320) was located near the lifts and the restaurant and was therefore subject to lots of foot traffic and noise, especially at the weekend!

Loved our three night stay in this hotel. The central location is absolutely perfect for walking to Te Papa, Westpac Stadium, restaurants, shops and the waterfront. Our room was very comfortable, although you can hear some traffic noise. The quirky art work throughout the hotel made for interesting viewing and interesting conversations!!

My husband and I had a 2 night stay for our honeymoon. We initially were told on booking that the room we selected wouldn’t have a bathtub, but upon check-in had the nice surprise of finding that we did indeed have one. Check-in was quick and easy, and we were surprised by chocolates and bubbles in our room. The room itself was comfortably sized (bathroom massive), stunning design and excellent amenities. Lots of towels and toiletries supplied. Range of magazines and tv channels. Good selection in mini bar, though we did not purchase. We ate at the Hippopotamus restaurant for dinner. A bit more than what we usually pay for dinner, though the hotel guest discount helped. The meals and drinks were wonderful, and very thoughtfully created. We also did the self-guided tour of the hotel’s art collection, which is quite extensive and varied. The staff are pleasant and welcoming, and added to the warm atmosphere of the hotel. Nice and close to the waterfront, Te Papa and the grocery store. Walking distance to Cuba street, cinemas and restaurants. Also props to hotel staff on their handling of the emergency evacuation while we were there. We had dealt with a similar situation a few nights earlier in another hotel that went very differently, and the staff at QT should be commended on their diligence and communication with guests. They handed out robes to people who may be cold within minutes, and had us back inside quickly. Thank you for an excellent stay, especially to the staff. We can’t wait to return to Wellington next time we are in NZ.

This is a really nice hotel, very well appointed, beautiful artwork, comfortable and quiet. Probably the best hotel in Wellington. Wasn't quite perfect though, in room wifi didn't work and despite there being both a nespresso machine and a plunger, there was no coffee in the room. Just minor details but detracted from the experience.

Really can't fault anything about this place. Staff are particularly pleasant and helpful. The hotel itself serves up little surprises at every turn. The Hippopotamus restaurant continues all of the above and then adds some of the finest fare you will find in Wellington.

Such a great hotel with lovely staff, luxury rooms with very comfortable beds, and all the quirky artwork and decor makes it an interesting place to stay. The location near Courtney Place, Cuba St, Te Papa, the waterfront, all adds to the appeal.

Very well setup rooms and super comfortable. Excellent bathrooms even squeezing in a huge bathtub. Facilities were all available and in great order. In room dining was good. No complaints!

This was an amazing experience, although it's on the higher end for hotel prices I couldnt have been happier. This place has set a standard by which I will measure all hotels. The art and decoration is Divine and well curated the service from all the staff was beyond that with which I have ever received . This is the only hotel I will stay at in Wellington.

I loved it! A funky hotel. I was travelling on business and stayed in Executive Studio King room/apartment for three nights. It was comfortable and quiet. Good temperature control, large en suite with bath and separate shower. Neat kitchenette with coffee machine and full mini bar. Room included combination washing machine/dryer which was very handy. Staff were friendly and helpful.

stayed here one Saturday night for our wedding anniversary. the reception was nice, arty as expected. the room was alright, lovely hot drinks selection (and a nespresso machine), bed was comfy. bathroom needed some repairs, and couldn't run a bath. room service breakfast was fine. staff were helpful and friendly enough. not sure if we'd bother staying here again though.

Great hotel to stay in. Close to bottom of town .Opposite Te Papa museum. Harbour view room lovely with terrace. Hotel currently under wraps for outside upgrade but they trying to not block views. No noise during weekend from workers. Street a little noisey from partiers in early hours. Rooms good size and bathrooms clean. Lots of art throughout hotel. Pool area small not a resort style but a lap pool and cold at moment. Would stay again.

Handy to everything in downtown Wellington. The rooms are beautifully appointed with added little extras to make your stay feel special. We stayed on a non-eventful Thursday evening and the room was so extremely noisy, we couldn’t get a wink of sleep. Breakfast was simply 'the best. The rates were reasonable.

Beautifully appointed room and furnishings. The abundant mirrors on the wall take some getting used to but gives the illusion of space. There is a well stocked mini bar and, a first for me, a Nespresso machine compete with coffee pods. The hotel features an eclectic mix of art, sculpture and music and the golden hippopotamus out the front is amazing. Highly recommended.

Very friendly attentive staff on arrival, was there for my birthday & greeted with birthday wishes & also when got to room was presented with bottle bubbles. Only couple downsides......water glass at breakfast had someone's lipstick on side of glass & last 2 days there at breakfast was able to have green tea & this morning was advised that green tea not part of room package, she checked with her boss who reminded her that "yes" to green tea, we paid enough for the room for 3 nights!! Whereas hotel is quirky, not feeling 5* worth & sea views not what we expected unless you have invisibility eyes to erase out building in front! We also has dinner there first night, was very nice but VERY expensive. On the whole was "ok" but wouldn't stay again! 🤔

A very good hotel in the heart of Wellington. A brilliant room, more like a one room apartment, high up, so good views and quiet. Easy access to all central attractions. Restaurant out of action for refurbishment so ate out. Downside of location, no grounds to relax in and $30 per night parking.

The apartment itself was tiny. The location was convenient since we only had time to go to the Te Papa museum which was across the street from the hotel. The hotel has a good bar and the breakfast is excellent. Everything about it enhances the pleasure of our stay in Wellington.

Great, upscale, modern and quirky hotel, right in the center of town opposite the national museum. Lots of art to look at throughout! Our room was modern and well kept. Only had the one night there in Wellington but would have happily stayed for longer.

This is one of the nicest hotels in Wellington that takes pride in excellence right through to the smallest of details. It has a unique atmosphere with a fascinating art collection scattered throughout. The location is fantastic, located opposite Te Papa and a short stroll to the waterfront and all the cafes, restaurants and bars on Courtenay Place.

This is a real nice hotel in the centre of the city. Great welcome in and a nice check in process too. Nice mix of relaxed, semi formal and forms. Liking the art works too. Would recommend to everyone to give the place a go, it's worth the money.

Nice experience overall in the apartment sized rooms. Close to everywhere and lots of eating options within a couple of hundred metres. Art galleries galore at this end of town, and the boardwalk and Oriental Bay are minutes walk away. Some strange noises in the night in the building and others foot falls do echo in the small hours.

Ok is probably the right rating, nothing wrong with it. Good staff, tidy room, good location for the bars and te papa. Not so good for offices, too much expensive paid stuff in rooms to tempt you. No desk in room. Breakfast is below average though great view, Interesting art. So pros and cons, overall average but if you need to be in this area and the price is ok then you may like it.

Art in the hotel is amazing. Service very good. Cleaning left a bit to be desired Was in a room with washer & dryer however dryer was practically useless and can't be counted on. All sais I would definitely stay there again.

Great staff and location but the hotel is dated and isn't the cleanest. Very average bathrooms and noisy hallways you can hear in the rooms.

My fav hotel in Wellington, clean spacious and a great location. It's right near the water front, museums and Cuba street where we had a superb meal at Noble Rot. Room has a full sized fridge and kitchenette and there are supermarkets within easy walking distance. The window had no opening.

So pretty and cool. The art is modern and tasteful. The rooms are OK. The beds are a bit saggy in the middle and pretty poor pillows the layout of the 2br room was strange and could use a reconfigure. Nice hotel and good locale.

The MV Agusta motorcycles and quirky art in the reception area of the hotel are impressive to say the least. The ground floor of the hotel is full of fun paintings and sculpture. Breakfast was good but would have been good to know the a la carte options at the beginning of the stay.

Very nice facilities, a lot of thought was put into decor. Wonderful art on the walls and a giant bull made of corned beef tins. Bathrooms had single use hand towels instead of paper towels, and the bathroom was clean.

Nice hotel, classic QT style, the reception and common areas are very nice. BUT the parking is a bit of a pain, no on site parking, the concierge drive way is blocked so you have to wait until they come out and let you in, and there's no actual sign that says QT Concierge... I found the lady at check out to provide bare minimum service and just always wanted to send me to talk to someone else rather than her just helping me (and it was not busy). Oh by the way parking is $30 per night... as this info is hard to find online anywhere. The rooms are small, very small actually. And while they are well appointed I wish they had fully renovated the bathrooms also, bathrooms bring the place down a bit. I do kind of wish I stayed some where else to be honest.

Great stay at an interesting hotel directly across from the New Zealand National Art Museum. The interior has many pieces of art displayed. I did try to eat at their restaurants but one was booked fully and the other very noisy. We had a two bedroom apartment.

A stylish abode in Wellington. Art pieces adorn the lobby and restaurant and set this wonderful hotel apart from the standard chain hotels. The rooms are spacious and are presented with eclectic style. Great location by the bay, with many restaurants within walking distance. A must stay when in Wellington if you want to try something a little out of the ordinary.

The rooms are gorgeous and spacious. The minibars offer an impressive selection and the service at the front desk and concierge desk was lovely. I would definitely stay here again.

This is the place to stay in Wellington! All the staff were exceptional and the lodgings were wonderful. We had an apartment for four with a fully working kitchen including fridge, oven, cooktop, dishwasher, and washer/dryer! Walking distance to so many attractions, food and coffee. Check out the organic market across the street!!! We will stay at QT Wellington again.

Very nice place to stay and restuarant Hot Sauce was excellent

We had an absolute five star experience at the restaurant on 26 November 2016. We had the digestation menu of six courses with wine which was recommended to us by the Chef and it didn't disappoint - the food and wine was impeccable. Also, the staff who waited on us made it a night to remember - it was excellent service. We're planning another visit (or three) to the restaurant soon.

Love this unique art hotel, amazing decour and art. French restaurant with beautiful cuisine and views of the harbour. Our favorite place for special occasions. Excellent service. Excellent value for money. Large wine selection of quality wines.

The hotel is fine but their management of deposits and refunds is pretty odd, slow and hard to defend. I only had my debit card with me. I was staying for one night for a conference. Even though the room and all food costs were covered, they insisted on deducting a 300 dollar "deposit" on the room. Now four days along this has not been refunded.. They say it coukd take up to 7 days. Seems very strange for a hotel to kepp 300 of my dollars for a week. Never come across anything like this anywhere else and I have stayed at a large number of top hotels across the country and world. The star rating reflects this issue.

Great couple of days. The room was very nicely decorated, surprisingly quiet for CBD location at weekend. We had breakfast included that was amazing.

Had better for much less. Housekeeping was poor and somewhat random, i.e. coffee, milk not replaced, bathroom products not replenished - bed making poor. Lobby bar not particularly comfortable. Honestly had better experience at motor inns!

Museum Hotel in Wellington is by far THE BEST place to stay when visiting the windy city. A very quirky hotel that has a lot of character. The rooms are not double glaze dso there is a bit of traffic noise which was a bit of a pain but it did ease off around midnight.

My recent stay in the hotel was not very nice. As i was travelling for business, i don't understand the charges added for internet access in the room. The hotel has an 'arty' vibe but unfortunately the cleanliness of the room was a major let down. Service, decor , comfort and location were of good standard.

Great place to stay. Staff are really friendly and more than happy to help. Clean, great facilities, resturant and close to all shopping. Parking can be tight but the valet parking sort it all out for you. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Wellington.

Very luxurious hotel near the waterfront. Incredible artwork all around the interior. Had coffee there and only reason I put 4 stars is because coffee was not hot. Worth a visit for the atmosphere.

Rooms were stylishly decorated with detailed considerations for design, comfort and functionality. The apartment rooms have everything you would need to make yourself at home including a hot plate, utensils and crockery in a kitchenette. An open plan bathroom sports a rain shower head with a dryer/washer combo. Breakfast was extremely decadent. Wi-Fi was great too. Everything was perfect at first glance but what irks me most is how incomprehensible some items are situated. For example, the switch for the hot plate is hidden at the back of a black cupboard and painted black. The switch to turn the aircon on is placed high above the ground beside the aircon unit by the cornice. Clothes washing detergent sachets were placed together with dishwashing liquids in the cupboard above the sink on a flat dish. Best of all, they have everything you need to cook the food but prevents you from eating. The lack of useable utensils is shocking. No forks or knife is available. I had to request for a fork at the concierge desk. Lastly, the tv unit doesn't come with instructions on how to use the TV which had to be programmed. I ended up watching movies on my laptop. Overall i had a very mixed experience with QT apartment in Wellington. It was very flash when you first enter but you quickly realise they only leave you wanting more. I would expect better services having paid an apartment of this price.

Adorable hotel with lots of crazy art throughout the hotel, lobby, rooms, and restaurant. We had an apartment room, which has an oven, stove, and clothes washing machine. Very handy to have! The new world market down the street came. In handy.

QT Museum hotel, formerly known as Museum Hotel has recently renovated. It is upscale very Arty kind of accommodation. Location is right across the National Museum Te-Papa, which is said to be one of the best in southern hemisphere. Service quality is also very good.

The location is across the street from Te Papa Museum and convenient to city center attractions, Lambton Harbour and Oriental Bay. The location of the hotel is great but there needs to be a general upgrade and thorough cleaning. I will be staying here again, I am pleased to have found somewhere finally in Wellington.

A lovely treat for the likes of me. Quirky, but perfectly pitched and functional. Staff were keen to be of service, but also to do their job quietly and unobtrusively. Loved the bathroom!

Longstanding high end hotel offering in Wellington that houses one of the best restaurants, and some of the best views. Dice coming under the QT Brand the Museum Hotel has only Police shed up better. The recent addition of Asian fusion restaurant Hot Sauce ensures you’re spilt for choice against the superbly high brow Hippopotamus restaurant. Rooms and apartments are all brilliantly appointed with a strong preference for its arty origins, toned down just enough so one is not overwhelmed. Each rooms bathroom is brilliant, and the capacity ensures you don’t feel squeezed between beds. The mini bar is packed full of local products from Wellington Company chocolate, to local wine, Sipsmith gin, and an array of games, goods and books sure to please the young and old. Most of the room’s décor is also for sale if you take a fancy to the bedside tables. The views are the selling point though. You really cannot get better for such a central location. Go here and thank whatever good sense you had for indulging yourself.

interesting local art and helpful staff

QT is quite a unique hotel, with lots of fantastic art all over the place. The bed was comfy and there was ample space in the room. Right across the road from the museum and water front, there's plenty to see.

Check in was good and efficient, friendly. Very nice vibe to the lobby (which has some great artwork we spent time looking at later). The room was great, if not large, and worked really well. Plenty of electrical sockets well positioned, good wifi, comfortable bedding, and a great bathroom, plus a spacious furnished balcony. Smallish gripe: our “Harbour View King” on the first floor offered a view of trees, a bit of the Museum, and a few yacht masts. Lesson: ask for a high floor room when booking I guess. A big plus for the property is its great location for harbour front walking, the museum, Cuba Street/restaurants, and just a15-20 minutes stroll to Lambton Quay shopping. Loved that! BIG GRIPE: On checkout, I had to pay a surcharge for using my credit card. The only place in the world in a large hotel chain where this happens is in New Zealand and Australia. I've experienced it before, so QT is not alone in this sin. It's not the actual amount of money that irritates me, but the principle of it. If you are a local, you can always pay by EFTPOS, but as a foreigner you really have no choice unless you carry oodles of cash around with you. And non-city hotels in NZ don't do it....this was the only hotel booking where I was levied a credit card surcharge in a month's travel in the country. Why do they do this? The smaller hotels that DON'T surcharge probably have to pay a larger commission to the banks than the big chains do, so WHY? I raised the issue politely with the cashier (it's not his fault) and he sympathised ("thank you sir..the more people that complain the more they will be heard" was his appropriate message). I would definitely rate this property 5-star, but drop it a notch simply because of this really irritating, mickey-mouse credit card surcharge.

Place is getting tired. Valet was 20 minutes late getting my car even though I’d given them a time a needed it by. Disappointing as this was one of my favourite hotels in Wellington for work.

Such a beautiful place! We were staying over night with our 4 month old and were upgraded so her bed fit nicely. Staff were so amazing. We really enjoyed our stay.

Lovely staff. Great location. Right opposite the Te Papa museum, 2 minutes walk onto Oriental Bay and the 5 min walk to the beach. Great food from the kitchen.

Very hip and upscale. Room was spacious, clean, and ultra modern. Right next to the Team Papa museum which had an amazing Gallipolli exhibit. Walking distance to all downtown shops.

My new home away from home! Loved my bed! Loved the endless art works and styles. Service and hospitality was top notch. Food....soooo good! (French cuisine)

Got a very nice room upgrade to harbour view. The in room food was great but the bed was a bit on soft/Davey side but still acceptable. Staff were very pleasant.

Great hotel, loved the art-filled lobby and they do a wonderful espresso martini! Rooms have everything you need including a little minibar and ours even had a laundry!

Nicely upgraded rooms in soft tones but as a couple of artists we preferred the more colourful rooms we've stayed in previously. Good cocktails.

I'll be back windy Wellington. My first time in NZ and I felt so at home. I had a few little problems with my room (dishwasher wouldn't close, no knob on the oven to cook and a resident poltergeist flickering the lights 👻) but it can easily be over looked by the ambience of the place. I'll be back hopefully in the same room to make sure all the stuff was fixed and I'll be staying longer next time!!

Lovely place to stay, very central and a beautifully quirky and interesting vibe and atmosphere, encompassing beautiful art and friendly professional staff.

Unique and interesting hotel. Rooms are about right for the money. Shouldn't have to pay for wifi at somewhere of this price range. Also reception staff were a bit variable. Would come back but probably only if we got a good deal.

Always feel right at home here. All the usual local artworks of significance. A relaxed atmosphere. Brilliant for events.

I'm torn between four and five star - it's not quite up to the level of the other QTs yet, but is still easily my favorite Wellington hotel... Except for those wasp nests on the fourth floor! 😏

Really quaint hotel with a wonderful collection of artworks in the foyer. Comfortable, spacious apartment rooms. The back story to the hotel's name and location is interesting.

The art and decor of this hotel are amazing. So much better than your standard staid hotel environment. Great restaurants and bar too!!

The stars are for Sanjay - one of your team members at the frontdesk. Yes the room was great, breakfast was ok.. but him going out of the way to help me made my stay so pleasant. I had not carried my cuff links and Sanjay saw me struggling. The man is ingenious - used a pair of rubber bands to fix my problem. Never seen anyone going that extra mile. Many thanks for the stay and experience!! Pass on my regards to him.

I love this place. I visit often with work and i am never disappointed. The staff are what makes this place so special. I love the way they know your name and your likes and dislikes. I would never stay anywhere else.

Mega QT- loses the vibe and fun of the more smaller QT hotels. Check in took almost 40 mins due to the large group that arrived before us. Gym needs a desperate update! For a hotel holding the QT name we expected and wanted more.

Went to Lego exhibition and Gallipoli exhibition with two of my grandchildren. Both were fantastic . Unfortunately not enough time to look at much else. Will keep for another visit as there is so much on offer and so well displayed😁

We had 4 people, 3 generations from hobbling grandma to very active and inquisitive 3 year old. All staff from concierge to restaurant were attentive helpful and so pleasant. Thank you all.

Had a work function in the billyards room, very nice looking room. Food was provided ded by the hotel and was very nice, staff were very Profesional. Hotel lobby was very interesting with lots of art.

Nice hotel, but overpriced. Room had a number of minor issues (such as broken curtains) which I would not have expected for what we paid.

This is a very good hotel however on this occasion we were unable to eat here due to a private function which was a disappointment it is pricey but the location and quality is well worth it.

The Museum Art Hotel is one of Wellington's premier hotels. Centrally located close to the waterfront, across the road from Te Papa, and just around the corner from Wellington's eatery and nightlife hub. I have had the privilege of using the Museum Hotel as a location for many photoshoots from glamour portraits, to wedding and bridal portraits, to fashion events including Miss Universe. We went for the restaurant as it is supposed to be one of Wellington's best. The atmosphere is amazing, the staff were perfect and the food was technically great it just needed that extra bit of magic to be considered one of the best.

just popped into 🦛QT🐾 Hotel and were blown away by the art on display absolutely magnificent it is an art museum in its own right Formerly Known as (THE MUSEUM ART HOTEL)

Lack of maintenance and short staffed meant our stay wasnt too wonderful, however Covid times may be an explanation.

The Museum apartments are my preferred place to stay in Wellington. The facilities are excellent, and the hotel is well located on the waterfront in the central city area.

The stay was good however I would recommend paying via a reservation site such as Expedia as the Hotel charges 2% for paying with a credit card.

Location is perfect for downtown. Great international (French) service. The furnishing and artworks make this a neat placd to stay.

QT museum was very nice, the reception area is very luxurious and the museum pieces were fascinating. I took my friend who was visiting Wellington to this mueseum and we both agreed it was one of the bteer ones in town

QT, previously the Art Hotel, seems to have achieved the difficult task of being unusual and quirky with a decent size and excellent quality, all for a reasonable price.
