Amazing service from both Sarah and Dennis :) I walked into the store with lots of questions around lenses, Sarah was so patient and solved all my concerns. She also helped me to pick a frame. Dennis is attention to detail and really good at the job! He explained everything he did during the eye test to ensure customer is comfortable. This is the best service I ever received. I highly recommended Oscar Wylee St. Lukes store. If you need pair of new glasses, visit them :)

Very good quality glasses and professional service. I got my eyes tested and prescription sunglasses here. The staff was friendly and helpful. There was a slight miscommunication in the order but Sarah handled with professionalism and proficiency. A place worth highly recommended.

I had a fantastic experience with Oscar Wylee St Luke's. After really shopping around for a very lightweight, comfortable but still fashionable pair of specs I landed at Oscar Wylee. Lots of knowledge and friendly help. Heaps of cool spec styles to choose from and so reasonably priced! Highly recommend Sarah and her team.

Such an amazing experience for start to finish! Optometrist was very knowledgeable and offered very valuable information. He was extremely thorough when doing the eye exam. The ladies that help me with my frames were amazing as well! Helped me pick out my frames, made sure they looked good on me and that they fitted well! Also, when the current pandemic the ladies were very sanitary - ensured that frames were cleaned right after if someone was trying them on. Thank you for such a great experience team!

The process of choosing new glasses takes time and the staff here are very friendly and helpful, without putting any pressure on you. The eye test process is also very professional with very clear explanations of what is required, but again without putting any pressure on you. I would definitely recommend the Oscar Wylee St Luke’s branch.

These guys are the real deal. Well lit shop, with clean lines like any spectacle heaven should have. The girls out front were really helpful with out being sales spooky. And the Dr who done my eye test was awesome. Funnily enough I ended up here because I got ghosted by the staff at Spec Savers (which is upstairs) who pretended they couldn't see me waiting at the counter for over 5 mins. So I went to get a tank juice and lucked into finding this lovely store. I got two pairs of glasses and the whole process was easy in both the experience and the wallet. Three thumbs up to these guys.

Oscar Wylee is primo IMO. The only reason I didn't give a 5/5 is because I did not get an eye test with them, just gave them my prescription. Fashionable, cost effective frames and lenses compared to my usual optometrist. Excellent and fast service too. Don't try to push the upsell on recommended "extras" once you've chosen your frames either. I've been to both St Lukes and Ponsonby branches in Auckland and found them both very good.

I've bought from Specsavers and Clearly and can say that I'll only be buying from Oscar Wylee going forward. Way better experience. Specsavers didn't get back to me for an appointment so I googled optometrists by highest ratings and Oscar Wylee came out on top. I booked an appointment with them online and the rest is history. I should also mention that my previous glasses were from Clearly who ignored my email complaining that their glasses gave me a rash and was rusting on the arms where it was causing the rash. The nose cushions had broken off within 2 months. Clearly had asked for pictures and when I sent them, they didn't contact me again. The optometrist and team at Oscar Wylee St. Luke's treated everyone there with respect that were in the store. They all have great personalities and are lovely to deal with. I have a larger face so wasn't expecting a huge range to choose from but was surprised that I could get modern styled glasses that fit me and were light in weight. The team also helped me to choose between styles I liked. Their spec cases and lens cleaners are classy looking too. The lens cleaner spray is in a cute flat square spray bottle that spritz just the right amount onto your lenses. It doesn't oversaturate like the Specsavers one. It comes with a lens cloth and screwdriver attached to a keyring. I'll recommend Oscar Wylee over Specsavers and Clearly any day. Customer experience 5/5. Price: I got the 2 for $249. I opted for extras such as the 2 step thinning and 2 step protection coating. In total, it came to $650 for 2 pairs of glasses with the extras on both. You get them fitted for free and can pop in anytime thereafter to get them readjusted for free. The glasses came with 2 magnetic cases that has lens cloths in each case. It's $10 extra for the lens cleaner, another lens cloth and screwdriver with keyring. Worth the money in my opinion.
