Fantastic experience at Specsavers Dunedin. Was having a free contact lens trial and being taught to use them. It took me three appointments for me to achieve successfully getting the lenses in and out. My tutor, Sophie was amazingly patient, encouraging, friendly and skilled at her tutoring. She even changed the environment to a private room due to my anxiety. All free and with a follow up to see how it’s going and all the time focusing on my health and well- being. Top job Specsavers!

It took a few visits and tweaks to get things right and I can't speak highly enough of the entire team that looked after me at Dunedin Specsavers. A special mention for Sophie and Jennifer though, they were great! Friendly, professional and warm characters who genuinely care about getting the right results. Thank you!

Had my contact lens assessment in here and all the staffs were approachable and very helpful. The optometrists ( Jennifer and Ishmeen) were very detailed in explaining the safety protocols in wearing contacts. Lucy and Caitlin who assisted me today were equally awesome! Thank you so much!

Great staff nothing to complain about there, I'm gutted about the fact I am waiting on trail contracts which I still haven't received and am finding it annoying as I am also waiting on my new glasses which I still have to wait a week and a half... price is okay im just gutted about the the fact I'm still waiting for my glasses and contacts I need to see and using my old glasses until my new ones arrive are just so straining on my eyes.

My son went to today to get contact lenses - Rachael and Craig were very patient and friendly! Thanks

Recently purchased glasses from spec savers. I misunderstood the explanation of different coatings available. They replaced the glasses no questions asked. The service was great, the only thing I hated was the booking system with the long waiting time to be seen.

I changed to Specsavers about 4-5 years ago after being a customer at a big chain store optometrist for well over 15 years, bcoz their prices were far too good - no need to pay upwards of $600 everytime I needed new specs. I cannot fault the staff here, I have never struck a bad or unhelpful staff member & they're always happy to help you readjust your glasses, tighten loose screws etc. The aftercare is great! I finally got around to going back to get my eyes checked again & had Jennifer as my optometrist - not only was she lovely, she was fantastic to deal with, friendly, more than helpful & really made me feel comfortable. Can't fault these guys :)

This is the second time I have used spec savers. What a fantastic team. All the staff were friendly and helpful, i have walked away with a great experience. Thanks Team!

This business was amazing. Tara? You are awesome, solved my problem with no issue at all. Stress free, and the frames you recommended are fantastic. Gavin, when l picked them up, close to closing, you took your time and ensured they fitted perfectly , Looking forward to seeing spec savers Dunedin again.

Eye exam was great, but the frame choices are limited, I can hardly find one that suits my face. When I first went to collect my new specs that was fitted with prescription, it didn't fit my face well, I had to choose another one to remake - which is what I'm wearing now but it's still a little tight and uncomfortable on the sides of my head

I had a really lovely experience here. First time needing glasses and all the staff members were so friendly, approachable and really helpful. My glasses (frames and prescription lenses) were all included in the 1 price which was really affordable!

My husband and I are visiting from the UK. We visited the Dunedin store as my husband's frames had broken which we had purchased in the UK. The staff at Dunedin couldn't have been more helpful. They emailed the UK for details as the frames were still under guarantee. Due to the time difference they replaced the frames free of charge before they'd heard back from the UK trusting what we had said was correct. A big shout out to Rachel, Leanne, Sarah and Amie who all helped sort out the problem quickly and efficiently. An excellent service from Dunedin and Specsavers overall.

I was in 8c having cancer treatment and the wing off my gasses broke. The team went above and beyond in getting my glasses fixed, my lenses were fitted into new frames, and all at no cost. Bravo. Keep up your caring work. Much appreciated. Anne

Had an excellent experience today at SpecSavers! My glasses has been broken for a few weeks and my appointment still wasn't until a week away. I had been getting headaches every day from not having glasses so I called and asked if they would call me if there's any cancellations at any time of day and I would come in. They called a day and a half later and said they had a spot of the afternoon and I rushed in. I brought a copy of my current prescription and they said I needed to do was choose a lens! They had a deal where I could get two paris for $169, which would be covered completely by the StudentSafe insurance ($200) I have as an international student. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE FANTASTIC SERVICE!!

Absolutely amazing service, I had my original appointment planned for 2 weeks time, knowing I was getting constant eye and headaches with my vision. I rang up yesterday and asked them that if there was a cancellation, would I be able to take the spot. Lucky enough they immediately said that they had a cancellation which they put me in for. I want to thank the staff for making the place very welcoming.

Nice store, very open, well lit and clean. Friendly staff greetings as soon as you walk in. Unfortunately they made a mistake with my particular situation so I wouldn't go back to them again.

Really fanatic team work with my 3yo needing tests and glasses. Good communication and support with each step. The optometrist was thorough and very gentle with my wee one. Thank you

I can not speak highly enough for the amazing krystal the manager at Dunedin store. My husband is in rehab at ISIS and this dear girl help us out by coming in to help fit hos new glasses as he was unable to travel
