Connects all over Auckland. Recently Renovated

Cool And Modern. Works Well. Has Flavour Of Old Station. Large, Pretty And Good Easy Location.

We like the retro architecture style which blends in the post-modern theme! It is hub of electric train, buses and taxi. Is is located in the historic part of Custom Street at the bottom of Queen Street, Auckland, New Zealand.

Super easy to get to from the CBD. Lots of trains coming and going constantly with lots of friendly staff around to help. It’s currently undergoing construction with the city rail link development so it will be awesome to see what it’s like when they’re finished. Travelled from Britomart to a rugby game and they had put more trains on and it was super easy to get to Eden Park.

It was awesome to see the Britomart Station just because it’s something different. There are cool skylights above the track which you can then look at from the top and it’s a really unique idea. The station was very clean and well lit. Overall, it was a great place to go and it would be even cooler to actually catch a train there.

Looking fancy in the newly renovated Britomart Train Station! The train station has been closed for several years and opened again in 2021. It looks so pretty and modern, with a very very cute florist, cafes, takeaways and seating. The glass dome stained glass at the top is eloquent and reflects Auckland's historical side. The people at the counter are really helpful and knowledgeable too when I needed help with catching a train or getting a new bus card :)

Great modern train station in the heart of Auckland. Many helpful and friendly staff to assist with any query. The cleanest public toilet facilities I have ever come across. I love travelling via Britomart station.

Trains are always on time. Timings are adhered too. You can check train times on Google maps as well. Route is well updated. Great customer service.

Britomart precinct is a beautiful part of town. The transport centre runs below ground and the upmarket shopping and restaurants are a visual delight and dripping in fairy lights by night and beautifully planted and landscaped by day. It’s a lovely place to be.

Construction site, functional but in a state of transition. Parts that have been completed look great but it's hard too see past the construction.

Excellent train station. Easy access and nice staff members too. This was my every day transport to college and now I can use it to go to work every now and then which is even better than driving my car lol 😂. Will be even better when the construction is finished. Thanks. Ami

We are visitors to Auckland and we were at Britomart this morning, about to investigate taking a bus around Tamaki Drive. Two young employees approached us and readily answered all of our questions. I took screen shots of the route and times they showed us. They demonstrated how and where to top up our bus card. They made our lives very easy!! A big thank you to them :-)

A very modern central train station, with interesting lighting and interior design. On the ground floor, you'll find the shops, the customer service counters, as well as the toilets. To get to the train, you have to go down multiple levels; for the disabled and elderly, there's an elevator. Very busy during commute time. Quality of the train services still need improvements, though.

It has trains and feels modern and European, so quite unlike any other Auckland stations.

The Train Station is not crowded and easy to access. However, public transport in Auckland is awful.

Clean and modern terminus for the trains in Auckland. Easy to purchase tickets and contains facilities like toilets. Buses and ferries are within close proximity of this station. Note that there is ongoing construction.

Always constantly clean and organised - not many cues due to the several tag on locations. There is currently construction, however, so can be loud at times and inconvenient.

It's a really nice station. However there really ought to be more ticket machines for such an important station. There are always such long queues. Once the surrounding area is made a bit nicer and the main entrance to the station is re-opened, it would be worthy of 5 stars.

Amazing

Well mapped out. Very clean and helpful staff. Under major renovations.

Few problems with the station however the commerce street entrance is a temporary replacement for the main building. Very bad Idea to have a single terminus station however the CRL is now under construction. Easy place to get out of with 2 entrances on either side of the station, good central location.

Not as packed as before lockdown but things are starting to pick up ( more people using trains)

Here's the good and also what could be improved. Good: - Airport style departure boards with accurate due times - Selection of food outlets (burgers, coffee, poké to name a few) - Conveniently located Improvements that could be made: - While I understand the current terminal is temporary, more ticket machines are required for the number of patrons using the station. - Cancellations and delays are often not explained, leaving commuters frustrated. If a reason is given, if is often due to a 'track fault'. Track upgrades within the Britomart tunnel would be expected upon completion of the city rail link.

I think Britomart is an amazing station. Maybe they could make it easier & quicker to get around. Super excited for CRL in 2024!

Britomart is the main railway station in the CBD, Commercial Busines District. Here you can take the train and visit the outlying area of Auckland. The people working there are very helpful and approachable. Paper tickets only go one way, so you will need to buy another one on the way back. We bought ours from a ticket agent, but there are also ticket vending machines. Our ticket to Sylvia Park was only NZ $5. Once you get down to the platform you can ask which platform will the train be coming in for your particular destination. Travel tip: Don't jump into the train car until you know it's the right train for your destination. We hopped into train car thinking it was the right one considering the name of the destination displayed on the train. They went through the cars and told people to leave. As it turns out they made a mistake in the announcement. They immediately announced the error and redirected people to the right train platform. Inside the Britomart, there are various fast food restaurants and cafés. And, yes, they do offer free wifi.

All train lines start and stop at this big modern station. Although somehow there is no digital panel showing all the stops of the upcoming train, which would have been really helpful for tourists, luckily the staff there is super helpful.

Easy access to city by train between Onehunga and Mt Albert for our small group of out-of-towners. Great shops along the pretty walkway above

Nice britomart train station looks beautiful inside with electric trains parked at some platforms you can also transfer here to another line like western line, onehunga line, and eastern line.

Fav place to grab a bite and a coffee n to get around quickly around Auckland

Clean and spacious. A seating locations have nearby power-jack access for a sneaky phone recharge.

The good place when i go from auckland to Manuka is that I don't find that a bit expense and it's a great way to locate when i will returning from here and now.
