Excellent movie watching experience. Great location inside the mall and heaps of parking available.

Manukau Event Cinema. Quiet Atmosphere. Our movie was at 6pm. Had to find your own Seats once they tell you where they placed you. That's why at a little bit more of a price, Booking Online makes everything so much easier, and you know exactly where your seated. Great movie, screening was superb. Chairs need a little upgrade, otherwise overall great 🙂

12/4/22 Unfortunately it seems covid has not been kind to the cinema. I was in cinema 9. Seats were cracking, armrest duct taped, sticky floors My seat was broken and was stuck reclined. A seat in front of me was bent forward. Overall it just felt a bit rundow In regards to the movie tho. Screen was clear and audio crisp.

It's been awhile since I've been here. Using them cards to play was all new to me. Happy they now got the Dance/step, Awesome workout on this game. Kids always have fun here...

Had some movie money so paid a little extra for the recliner seats. They were fab! Although the standard seats were lovely too, a lot of room and comfortable 😀

First time in VMax lol i shouldve asked for Delux instead lmao the Sound and graphics superb. My partner and i will definitely be watching movies Vmax style from now on because i cant go back to normal film Thank you guys

Thank you so very much to the Handsome young man who was in the Arcade early afternoon 10th February. He was very friendly, approachable, helpful, patient and kind. I've grown up in Manukau and He's the Best ... Usually no need to comment. Thank you heaps from me and especially my little boy. PS: we watched Addams Family

A bit less tidy after lockdown in theatres and the cold drinks are flat. But I believe they can make it better because it used to be my favourite pre-covid

Came to watch Spiderman - No way Home and bought the lounger seats. Great option. Staff were attentive and friendly. I love using services with good staff.

Great movie theater, spacious, comfortable seating, has everything you would expect from a movie theater, situated within the Westfield Manukau Mall. Has a gaming area, could do with more seats, in the waiting area. Prices for snacks are wayyyy overpriced, so it pays to bring your own.

Missed this place a lot. Watched spiderman no way home after so long. Neat and clean👍👍

Most of the cinemas are kept in good condition. Unfortunately, cinema 9 needs a fair amount of fixing. A lot of seats are broken or ripped and taped together with sticky tape that sticks to your arm.

Better then Manukau 8 cinemas.. but can't beat starlight cinemas... but still have watched heaps of movies here with the kids so good cinemas

I love going to Event cinemas in Manuka but will always complain about the sticky stairs and escalators going towards the cinema. Does anyone ever clean it?

Watched Spiderman No way home. I would say experience was OK. Screen and sound is good. But the seating wasn't the most comfortable.

The cinema is pretty good. Screen and sound were alright. Chairs are of good size. The chairs could be stuffed with popcorn or rubbish. The bins could be bigger since it's overflowing. The toilets nearest to the cinemas is not as tidy - probably since some people don't clean after themselves.

The seats are comfortable. The armrests are big so no bumping elbows

Love it after long time I have enjoyed watching movies on big screen cinema. Due to covid-19 restrictions. One more this cinema please sell fresh popcorn yaar crunchy and 🧈. I suggest pple go get your vaccine done so that not us enjoy the freedom you guys can enjoy the same amount of freedom. Together we walk and fight back this covid-19 virus so that we all can leave freedom life and so as our future generations....... .

Enjoyed the ambience, proper safety regulations (covid) were followed. Was able to find parking space. We'll maintained theater.

Decent cinema Needs upgrade actually Seats are not that comfortable when we compare with other Event cinemas theatre

Went to the movies last week and cinema 5 had moths flying around the cinema & seats. I had to move from the front seats to the middle row seats just to get away from the flying moths 😯 and it was a couple of moths, hope someone sprayed or removed the moths

Nobody there to check our tickets. She was there but I guess she had better things to do and we couldn't find cinema 9 and saw a cinema 10 aswel.

Awsome for time out with the kids, video games etc. Plenty space, nice wide venue👍

It was amazing booked tickets and confectionery on line. We went to a I max cinema 🎥 Wow first experience was awesome to be able to bring your feet up and also could have the head rest bk also. The sets were comfortable and very roomie, Can't go bk to ordinary cinema after experiencing i max.💖Happy viewing everyone. A little bit more expensive but well worth it.

Great experience. However when I purchased the tickets online and choose our seats which were (D7,D8) we got to the cinemas and received our tickets went to sit at our seats that we picked and had a family tell us we were in the wrong seats. So we looked at our tickets and they had placed us in H13,14... so might need to look into that otherwise great movie Manukau cinemas

Very loving family place to take your kids to entertain them for a while

Only 1 womens toilet open - 3 out of order! The one open was filthy - not impressed. Movie theatre itself clean

Very dirty the theaters were..i was looking for my sons mask and when i looked under the seats all i could see was popcorn and rubbish.

The V-max experience was great. Reclining chairs and amazing sound.

Nice and spacious cinema complex. You need to climb up stairs before getting to the ticketing area. I went in the Deluxe cinema which was fairly small but very comfortable.

My recent trip here wasn't that great. Private event and cinema hadn't been cleaned until 25 mins prior as we arrived. It was eventually organised. The ball was dropped this time unfortunately. Other times has been pretty good otherwise

Customer service good and nothing beats a good movie on that big screen the seating was awesome in the recliner BUT the toilets are atrocious, so dirty and smelly. Toilet paper and water, well I hope it was water all over the floors. Taps are rusted, soap dispensers and hand dryers aren't working. Toilets definitely needs upgrading

The newly renovated cinema is highly recommended. Clean, spacious, top quality. Been there a few times and it's always empty. Maybe it's not widely known, but I'm not complaining.

We held our U11 Girls Samoa Tag uniform blessing at the movies. While I initially struggled for a response, once Callum called me, everything was planned perfectly with no issues on the night. He was responsive and very understanding on the night. The staff on the night were also very helpful. We hired a cinema with food and drinks pre-ordered and delivered on time with the kids and parents enjoying the occasion. Our timing of the event also made it affordable.

Cinema is good, seating is fine too. Just a couple things, staff is too slow , there is always a huge line, they average takes 15 to 20 mins on 1 person.

The actual cinemas have been done up nicely now - pretty comfortable and well laid out. Have experienced the voume being too high in the past though so sensitive ears be warned. Biggest gripe though is the atrocious standards the toilets have been in, looking like someone's rear end was violently exorcised into the toilet bowl and it's surrounds.

Comfortable seating. Not crowded. $$23, 1 adult, expensive. I had a Xmas voucher. $50, 2 adults $46. Change $4. You can't buy anything fir $4. Another $2, can buy coke, $6 wow. Glad I don't go often to movies. One good thing movie Marksman was ch3oice

I have always loved this place, probably due to how much I enjoy watching movies on the big screen. The facilities are getting better and better, with Gold Class and the armchair seats and daybeds in other cinemas - makes it worthwhile and a far better experience!

The theatre we were in has had a full refurb. We opted for the recliners but all the seats were extra large and comfortable. Really enjoyed the experience. It was like being in a brand new flash cinema.

Always love coming here. Tried the double bed for a date treat for my love, it was very comfortable and spacious but was right up the front of the screen and did give me sore ears and eyes being so close, maybe move them to the back but other then that I enjoyed it!

Was easy to book online go straight through & take a seat. Service was fast, easy & friendly. My kids enjoyed their movie.

Good not much feeling of being at the movies

Staffs are always attentive. Great sound quality. Seats have enough leg room and comfortable... although a part of me hopes they have reclining seats :) Equipped with: convenient waiting areas, drinks and food outlets and coffee shops. ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

Easy to book online. $$$$ though. I got the adult vmax recliner seat. Wanted to see Greenland and that was the cheapest I could see. You'd think with covid times they'd want more people in seats. For the price...great view. Excellent seats and the sound percussion through the seat was great. No interaction with staff.. no one to check my ticket/online booking.

Has a timezone and a pool table upstairs. Good atmosphere. Clean and tidy place. Really chill area but it gets crowded, a very small place for how many people come here. Good employees. Some have a attitude problems. But good overall. Little expensive on the food side. Not the best food quality I have seen. Sometimes you get cold and stale popcorn.

Sorry but you guys ran out of choctops & gave us choc trumpet for replacement....$6 for it... & i work for the company who makes those choc trumpets... i can eat them at work on my smoko breaks in our canteen.. Very sad... but the movie was Cool 😎 Space Jam... dont go to movies much....

Cinema 10 is a small 64 seat room. Seats were okay; screen a little high above eye level; sound not bad. Some of the more modern cinema's are just designed better with better acoustics. Would I go again? Maybe. Remember you're paying a lot for a theatre ticket so I expect a lot.

We went to see the movie sonic the hedgehog.

I had an almost perfect entertainment experience here. The staff were friendly and helpful. The complex was nice and clean, and it was a great movie. If only the other patrons would be so kind as to turn off their damned mobile phones, and not kick the back of the chair in front, it would have been awesome.

Was good to finally get back to the movies again after a bunch of lock downs. Got great seats for Free Guy so pretty pleased :)

Have been here multiple times and the service here was very good. Getting tickets was well organised and the whole cinema was clean including the toilets. There is a lot of snacks to choose from at reasonable prices. For the busier times and popular movies it pays to arrive early in order to avoid the lineups. Staff were friendly and very helpful.

Nice comfortable cinema. I have been to other cinemas where the seats are specifically made for the smaller framed person. But when your hips don't lie you need a place like Manukau Cinemas to make you feel less self conscious of being able to sit through two and a half hrs of movie. Very accommodating.

Food is still expensive but watching the big screen is we'll worth it. Recliners in Vmax was ok, take a jumper or blanket as it was way to cold in there.

Great viewing experience, great surround sound & comfortable seating with lazyboys& loungers to hire while there with delivery service too was a well worth it experience will definitely go there again

Had some of my best memories here

The movie started on time which had been in doubt because of the evacuation of the mall. No queue for tickets and a quiet cinema made for a satisfactory experience. I did dislike the overflowing rubbish in the cinema bins and that down the side of the seats it is very dirty with popcorn filling the gaps in the upholstery. The bathroom was clean and serviceable. The coat hanger hook on the back of the toilet door is rather high and impracticable.

Usually pretty good but this day E.Cinemas needed more staff on service desk especially during the school holidays with mad queues of parents with children and almost made the "online tickets que" which is meant to be faster seem unworthwhile.Then heading upstairs there was a sign saying please queue here - which we all did but there was no sign of cinema staff. After sometime people were becoming disgruntled and seeing that our movie was starting in 3min I took my children through and then everyone else also followed suit...so either remove the queue here sign or have someone man the holding bay upstairs or we are waiting aimlessly. Cheers.

No staff checks ticket at all. I guess anyone may check movie time table and join free movie session 😜. I really mean, people are still purchased tickets for movie, even without staff checking. That's great thing.

Auditorium quite spacious with good amount of leg room. Tickets reasonably priced and students can get a discount. Staff friendly and helpful. You can't take your own drinks into the movie so bear that in mind.

Easy to gather online tickets from booth

Pretty alright cinema. Certainly not classy, but good value for the money to see a movie. Seats are good, always clean, and pretty comfortable. Toilets aren't perfect--plenty of tagging and sometimes a broken toilet seat. But, never any rubbish and always clean. Overall very good value for the money compared to other cinemas in the area.

I took my little family there and got great customer service at the counter aswell as a over filled popcorn box which is always a satisfying sight. We watched Frozen ll which itself was a good movie and spent abit of time in the arcade after it. Overall - Good experience.

Very nice & clean cinema. Please go early (yes, even if you have purchased your ticket online) because there is ALWAYS a long-as queue! Movie goers here don't exactly differentiate between a ticket queue and a pre-purchased ticket queue. It is possible to be late to your movie or miss it entirely because of this!

My least favourite Event Cinema. Movies itself was alright. They have some gaming machines there too. I booked an online ticket and when collecting it, I had to ask for snacks when the staff was welcoming next customer! Then again when I was still there, collecting my stuff, they did the same! It wasn't even a busy day!

Great seating the recliners. Was daughters choice. Thought I'd treat her. Didn't disappoint

I wish it had a Gold Class cinema. Clean and tidy. Including the bathrooms. Always enjoyable on the big screen. Always more enjoyable when they have discounted tickets. The online queue id supposed to look like special treatment. Both queues were treated the same. So effectively no enticement to book online prior.

This place is been neglected a lot and customer service is appalling. It's sad really. The star is for the one CSR I had she was lovely and movie was good.

First time out with my son in 6 months

I really enjoyed myself here at the Event Cinemas Manukau. The service that I received was upto my standards and the seating areas were very clean. Grear Job! Would sooo like to come back here and feast my eyes on another movie. For that I rate 5 stars!

Good flow to the layout of the place and it's quite clear where you're meant to go with good signage. I would advise coming earlier if you're coming in at peak time (late afternoon til maybe 7:30) as lines to collect tickets are long. The cinemas are kept relatively clean most of the time, with cleanings between each movie in each cinema. The snack food is of course quite pricey, as you would expect. The Timeout gaming section is a fun way to kill time before a movie or perhaps make a date more special and memorable.

Conspicuous lack of friendliness or customer service training here. No smile or greeting. Just getting paid to hand out tickets. Appreciate it's mundane work but we've all been there & better to do it with a smile. Facilities are good. Good seats, sound quality etc. Don't do movie food so no comment. Wouldn't go here if it wasn't local to boyfriend's house.

Lovely beautiful cinema! Was wonderful to be able to view the Fan Forced screening of UNPLANNED here. I HIGHLY recommend viewing this for a beautifully acted, brutally honest true story! Try finding another screening of this - SELLING OUT FAST.

Too expensive, they need to take a leaf out of the Monterey cinema team, big two seater sofa's and $12.50 adult admission. It's really no wonder the Event cinemas are mostly empty.

Took the kids out to watch space jam they loved that movie, but took our own snacks as the snacks there are so damn expensive

Have been comming here for the past 4-6 years. Has been great. Today experience I would say, the staff need to pick up there game. Didnt seem like they cared and were not bothered about work... interaction from staff seems to have gone down.. hence why only 3 stars at a push...

I love the cinema here, it has a fun atmosphere and incredibly helpful staff. It's easy to go here and buy a ticket for your movie and they're extremely professional, so they won't allow underage people to see certain movies which I think is great. The cinema is quite packed on the weekend, for obvious reasons, but for me that's just more people to enjoy a movie with. This particular cinema has an arcade zone in which you can play multiple games from racing, shooting and table hockey. Inside the cinema, it's always clean because after every movie, it is thoroughly inspected and cleansed because everyone's health and safety is the top priority for them. I go here maybe once or twice a month to watch a movie, with or without a group/partner and it's always a quick, easy and fun experience. I recommend this place to anyone who enjoys watching films in a top notch space.

Not able to see and select your own seats as you can in other Event Cinemas. No dedicated food an drink line, the que's to get tickets can get ridiculously long and have missed out on drinks and food as collected tickets at a quieter time and as no separate drinks line was not willing to wait in the over long regular line. Once in the cinema all is good and comfortable and able to relax and enjoy the film. Well mostly as the audience seams to be more talkative than at other places or a higher ratio of kids making more noise has distracted from the film.

We're not informed of the cheaper MasterCard deal when booking. We're assigned seats when the the place only had 15 patrons. Funzone downstairs was not clean, spilled drinks and rubbish etc. No apparent security and barefoot kids playing on the escalator. Seats comfy, but noisy patrons with feet on seats. Sound system and screen ok but needs better patrolling for upholding quality standards. Not so cheap at $19 pp on a Wed afternoon.

This theatre has a modern vibe with lights and ceiling decorations. It's within the Westfield Manukau. The staff are friendly. You cannot consume external food in the theatre. Usually I book my tickets through the App and it allows me to bypass any queue. The sitting and surrounding is comfortable, clean and tidy.

The arcade needs to be revamped a bit, especially towards the back end where the basketball game is located - everything in that end looks abit outdated. Is usually pretty messy in that area as well, you can usually find a popcorn and what not on the floor in that area which can be bothersome. The cinemas itself is good though, good seats and screens to match

Good place. Service average. There's often a large queue. And it's just a bit dirty really. Also the isn't enough toilets for the number of people. I just hate queuing. Probably because I value my time.

You need to have lift access at all times for the elderly, front counter staff excellent customer service, movie fab

Nice cinema with a choice of a deluxe session where you get reclining back (not leg) and more spacious than a normal seat. If you're fancy for food or drinks, you can pop into the lounge and they can deliver it to you. Cinema is always clean and tidy.

Used to be good. used to love events and allways went thier.. but not anymore... 1. why in the hell do I have to go and wait in a queue after booking the tickets online!!!?? it's 2016! we should be able to just show the ticket with our phones! or our own print out. 2. NO ONE DESERVES PAYING $8 FOR PACKET OF PODS OR M&M'S!! 3. Have to pay $1 - $1.50 for booking fee online.. 4. The place isn't clean half the time, kinda ruins your experience. If your able to look pass all that, if your not a fuzzy person.. your gonna love it! the cinemas are good, the quality..

Good cinema. There is no difference if you purchase your tickets online or at the counter. Wait time at the online booking line takes same amount of time than buying from the normal line. There should be a machine to collect tickets purchased online. Waste of time purchasing online and then lining up to collect.

Great family date night with the 3 little ones to see Kong vs GZ. Really cute watching them so engaged & enjoying the luxury recliners🤩

Great seating and viewing angles when inside cinemas. Only issue is line even if you have booked online. Can be a bit of a wait trying to get your tickets from the counters. Best to come early if watching a recently released movie

Service is a lot quicker as of recent. Great staff and facilities are tidy. Would be nice if you could take in hot food tho. Easy to sneak in your favourite hot foods if that's your thing while watching your movie.

Seats worn out and faulty movie started without previews and no attendant at door had to let ourselves in experience could be better. Popcorn was on point though!

I've been to this cinema a million times and it's good 👍 nothings really changed for the last 8 or so years. Just more arcade games I guess. All in all never had a bad experience here.

Good cinema with comfortable seats. We go when there's a good deal on, or to see the Movie of the Week. Prefer the bigger one over the Deluxe. But that is a personal preference. Also, no one had ever checked our tickets when going into Deluxe, and have wondered if some can sneak in. Never had any issues with the staff, and the TimeOut staff have been excellent to us. This is the best TimeOut we have come across. Has an elevator for those who require it, an escalator for both levels, and stairs also. So options for all :-) However, some people do not clean up after themselves, so on more than one occasion we have gone into a dirty cinema. Toilets have always been clean. If you want to stop and charge your phone while you wait, you can do so by the TimeOut area. Join Cinebuzz for some rewards :-)

The bathrooms upstairs by the cinemas seem pretty rundown, considering the price you pay to watch a movie there you'd think they would keep the toilets in decent condition. I saw a movie in cinema 5 and was in row K, where it smelled faintly like a baby changing station. Their "small" popcorn is quite large, but cost $7, and their "junior" popcorn is half the size of the small, but cost $6. The left wall in the cinema kept making random knocking sounds all throughout the movie , but the seats are comfortable and spacious at least.

Awesome scenery a lot of games to keep your kids occupied while you and the wife slip away for much needed time

Clean and tidy awesome customer service great prices for movies. A bit pricey for food but overall worth while going.

Whats the point paying online for your tickets paying more than if I waited in line if you are going to serve others and not the people who are waiting in the online purchase queue. I was skipped and made ro wait. Its a joke that they make us pay extra when ordering online but you dont get priority. Absolute joke. When paying over 20 bucks a ticket I may think twice now when choosing the big screen over the small screen. Good luck at getting me to part with my money now.

Its my local movie theatre and I frequent it with my young son who has special needs. Friendly staff, sometimes queues but that's to be expected if a movie is particularly popular. To the people complaining about online tickets normally you have to print it before you got to the cinema, its common sense.

Love having movie days with the kids. My son now. Loves popcorn because we came here when he was 1. He's nearly 2 and to this day we both walk into the movies to watch little foot, the bee movie.. 2 minutes into the movie.. Hes fast asleep lol. We are left there to struggle

Watched movie in v-max cinema, very comfortable and clean, enjoyed the experience.

Cleaner came out of cinema just before we entered but upon going in noticed the the rubbish bin inside theatre was full and almost overflowing. I feel this should have been emptied

A clean and easy venue to attend. Very spacious. Freezing cold in the theatre tho, however I enjoyed the experience even tho I don't go to movies often.

Bought our tickets online. Could do with some more seating, in the waiting area. Toilet for the men's up stairs were blocked.

Clean, good food bit expensive but thats movies anacks for you. Lots of stairs though, they have elevators. But it'd be easier for those with disabilities to go to another flatter movies, just less hassle.

great staff - always so friendly and always so very helpful. the arcade room is great now with new addition games and prize machines. always a great experience. location is great, right next to the entry of the mall and right next to the mall carpark- outdoor, undercover and underground all in one area.

Very good theater experience

The waiting line was quick but had to wait for the movie to start as the other session hadn't finish yet. When your pregnant you need a seat to sit down people had to move which was great of them kiwis have more heart then Aussies would have.

Good cinematic expirence. Only negative was slight slackness at booking counter & ticket checking.

Average theatre but the lobby's and the inside of the theatre were quite dirty and they need to focus more on the cleaning aspect. Apart from that comfortable seats and friendly staff.

Great little movie theatre hidden away in the middle of Manukau Westfield mall. Time out video arcade with great range of hoop, skill, arcade and prize machines to kill some time before your screening. Great family or solo entertainment.

Lots of seating options if you are happy to pay a wee bit more for your seats - well worth the extra at the end of a busy day of work, lazy boy option was just what the doctor ordered!

I love event cinemas. Especially because of the loyalty card. Every now and then we get discounts and stuff. My brother,nephew and I watched shazam for $10 because it was the movie of the week! That's hella cheap. Staff are lovely and helpful especially down at timezone when the machines are glitching they are very quick to help us. Great HD experience and at a decent price, especially if you have the loyalty card.

Booked my ticket Online. Staff was prompt to issue the ticket. The theatre was nice and clean. Quality of visuals and sound was great. Best time to watch here is late night.

It's a good cinema complex, though they've recently closed down the luxury area and the food and drink prices are exorbitant. Cinemas themselves are fairly clean, comfortable and well placed in the rest of the shopping complex at Manukau.

Inside the cinema was good. Chairs not too high so kids can see without boosters. Toilets and other areas outside the cinemas need to be cleaner.

Great experience in LUX. This Event cinemas has clean cinema rooms(chairs and floors) and bathrooms. I enjoy eating their popcorn too as it's a delicious treat.

So so cinema just like all the others uncomfortable seats for long sit downs and horrible microwaved bar food, I purchased a hotdog, they took 1 hour to make it, she said I might want to come get it after my movie cause it will take a while I was shocked. The result was a soggy hotdog which I saw them chuck in the microwave and than hand it to me

A massive complex, its got all you'd expect from a modern cinema. The only down side is that the food hall isn't located near it and on Saturdays it closes early so there are very few places to have a meal, before watching a movie, that's within walking distance.

Good theater. But I had bad experience. After paying extra to book online I still hv to stand in Q to get my ticket. Why cant they hv scanner installed by cinemas so customers can get what they paid. New Technology should b used if u r charging extra.

Tried Double bed for the first time, Had a relaxing theatre experience. Surround speakers are great.

Big wide open foyer, friendly staff, clean well lit bathrooms a good selection of movie snacks. Could do with a few couches or benches to sit on while waiting and monitors playing trailers of movies they're showing

Went in to do some Christmas shopping sometime late last week and decided to treat the kids to a movie at manukau event cinemas (my regular cinema) When we walked in it wasn't too busy so did not wait long for service. First thing I noticed a lot of people called out to patrons saying "next" or "next please" which I find minorly disturbing every visit, however as I moved to the front of the line I heard a young girl greet me saying "hi there" with a very polite smile and wave to get my attention before leading me down to her till - I found it very respectful that she walked away from her till towards me to let me know I can be served instead of shouting down at me like most others do. Having around 4-5 kids running around and making things difficult she was so kind as to describe the various kids movies and which would be more appropriate for the age group as well as doing the best deals for popcorn and drinks for our group having such expensive prices haha and even asking where we would prefer to sit, allowing us to chose. Looking around while she went getting our food I noticed she was the only young lady with a smile on her face even with giving us our food, before ensuring we had everything and wished us a great time in our movie. Furthermore I kept in mind when waiting for the kids to come from the Timezone that she greeted everyone so warmly and when she could, would ask how their day is going etc this is the kind of service I enjoy to see, I'm most pleased to put this review in for Anesha, keep up the good work! It was most appreciated and will be more than happy to be served by her again upon my next visit. Would provide 5 stars however encountered a nasty manager who spoke with rudeness to her employees.

Excellent facilities. Seating comfort preferred over hoyts. Popcorn can be a little hit and miss but is a hit most of the time. Generally fast and efficient. To expected standard.

Our reliable local. Handy, friendly service but so much wasted space in there. What about opening a licensed pop-up retail shop of movie memorabilia and t'shirts, keyrings, costumes, mugs, pens, fanny packs, water bottles, hats, books, autographed items etc.,?

Great place easy to find seating very comfortable, very close parking facilities for the shopping mall and especially movie patrons, enough movies choices for different tastes and age groups. Great service.

We had a great time. Heaps seats. Combo deals . It's also next to Timezones good for the kids waiting for film....

Great modern facilities but way too busy and understaffed. We bought our tickets online yet still had to wait 25 mins in long queues to pick them up. Plan ahead people...

Standard large cinema chain movie experience, good but nothing memorable. Can be a bit cold in particularly in summer, so make sure to bring a jumper

Great movie but my cup holder was broken and when i put my drink down i didn't balance it right and it fell and splashed everywhere so frustrating when you're just trying to enjoy a wonderful movie. (HTTYD)

Womens toilets need attention far more frequently than they get. Theater's are fine

Not our favourite choice for movies in Auckland. They take a very long time to clean between viewings and have the showing times way too close together. You always end up waiting at the top of the stairs for your theatre to be cleaned before being allowed in and generally you are finally allowed to enter just before the movie starts. No time to settle especially when taking the kids to the movies.

Average. Ordered tickets online as thought lines would move faster and be made priority but it wasn't. Felt it was cold inside the theatre and heard others mention the same thing.

Watched Sing 2 awesome movie.

Clean, comfortable cinemas & facilities and friendly staff. Always a pleasure going here. They have an arcade room and function room downstairs. They also have a bar & gaming lounge upstairs.

The floor was dirty and covered in spilt popcorn- way after the previous film had finished, and one of the cup- holders was missing! The music and movie sound was too high as well.

A few misunderstandings but I must say the islander female security guard is the BOMB! She corrects the staffs mistakes. Shes always smiling and making me and others laugh :) Good entertainer

Aww, good cinema but chairs needs to be more comfortable to compete with Hoyts. Ticketing service can be improved to heightening cinema visit experience. Lobby can also be used more to promote cinema experience.

27Aug16 These movie theaters are so well placed. But the foyer floors and escalators are unaccountably littered with drops and trash - ugly, and staff or management need to fix this blemish.

Love the new cinema v Max's rock's recliner chairs heaps of room nice sound and a nice way to spend a afternoon

Good place to visit. Escalators for the cinemas look like they have not been cleaned in 10 years. puts the whole cinema complex down.

Ive had one mess up with event cinemas, my movie was cancelled and it was just a mess trying to get a refund. Aside from that, weve had good and fun experiences with our kids here!!

Always wondered why they have so many tills but only half are being used. Movie was good, popcorn had a lot of uncooked kernels mixed in.

Great atmosphere, this is my favorite place for movies. Just wish that they would revamp the place just alittle bit to give a hollywood look to it. E.g classic posters of classic great movies or merchandise displayed on the walls.

Thanks to the young lady I later found named "Anisha" I believe. who helped my grandfather with the movies he wantd to wath, he struggles to remember a lot of information and does get a bit confused. So for happily taking the time to writing down the names and prices for him on a piece of paper to take home with him really helped us plan for t to happen together. Our family appreciates it plenty.

Good service from the staff but please moviegoers, if you sit in the cinema stop using your phone and blasting your flashlight. It's annoying as hell.

Went to 1'o clock movie, only 15 people in the cinema. It was great, nice and clean. Well done staff.

Average cinema. Can do with some cleaning. Movie goers can be very rude here. Staff need to make it clear that cellphone usage is distracting to other people/ Pricey stuff but that's items at any cinemas.

For a family day out with my children we really enjoyed the movie but the food wise not the greatest, customer service was a A+

You guys need to get the kiosk machines like queen st. so you can pick up your ticket when booking online, it will help sooo much when really busy coz the waiting lines can be ridiculously long smh.

Awesome experience ordered my tickets online got to the counter they scanned the barcode then gave me my tickets easy as that.
