Alex the driver was really nice, Gold seat was really roomie & comfortable, just needs some TLC for the seat handle, could have a head rest side arms as the bus sways alot caught the bus from Auckland Central to Rotorua

Is handy to the City. Prior to Covid it was a busy bustling place. Buses starting to get back to 'normal' There's a One Stop Shop here. Intercity Booking office and lockers. Toilets let it down though.. Otherwise it's good

A week ago I took the day bus from Auckland to Wellington and a couple of days ago I took the night sleeper bus back. Both experiences were wonderful. However, the night bus does not provide blankets, so be sure to bring your own!! The y do provide pillows!!

Whangarei-Auckland then back to Whangarei...always a excellent service, I have health issues & the drivers are more than happy to make sure I'm OK. Thank you all for your kindness towards me it's very appreciated. 10/10.

The service was excellent and had an amazing trip to waipu. Our driver was a no nonsense but funny man. One thing I did note and that was the terminal needs a facelift badly. Very shabby for Auckland

Good central place to start and finish bus long distance bus trips, but disappointed that the seats that used to be near the road (Hobson St side) are not there anymore.. I could have done with a seat while waiting for my Ola. Didn't use the toilets this time, but in the past the ladies toilet smells pretty terrible and never looks that clean.

The bus leaves on time and the driver checks his passengers and give direction to those who are first timers like me. Oh, by the way! You can charge your phone here and it has a free Wi-Fi access which will not bore you when you travel.

Staff great. Easy booking process. Self service lockers available. It's undress a building so a little dark, could do with a bit more seating. People sat on pavement although there is still a roof to keep off the rain.

I recently took a short trip from Sky City to Katikati. The drivers were both polite (they changed in Thames) the coach had aircon, was clean and comfy. It was my first trip on Intercity in many years. We ended up a good 40 mins behind schedule which is pretty much how I remember Intercity in the old days but what really got to me was 2 cyclists who joined us at Thames, they tossed aside some of the luggage (I found mine upside down when I got off, glad I had nothing breakable this trip) to get their bikes in and then they ignored the directive to wear a mask. I guess they thought they were somehow exempt. It makes a mockery of the rest of us. Either we all follow the rules or there's no point any of us doing it. Otherwise, thanks Intercity for getting me where I needed to go. I'd be happy to use them again sometime.

Great service, highly recommend.

Needs bigger lockers for big sized suitcase. Arrived in at 7am, bus arrived at 9am. Had to lug suitcase around with 3 kids just to go eat breakfast. Other than that, customer service is on point. Friendly staff. Clean platform.

Coach left on time and the driver was nice. The terminal isn't the most appealing, due to its location under larger buildings, making it dark and cold, but it has seats so you can sit and wait for your coach and lockers of different sizes, if you need to store your luggage for the day. The coach I was on was freezing and there was no way to adjust the AC. The wifi was good throughout the ride.

Great trip on the intercity bus from Hamilton to Auckland. The bus was delayed waiting for someone from a connecting bus from Tauranga and Kelly keep us informed as to what was happening. The bus was very comfortable and clean and it was easy to connect to WIFI. A very enjoyable trip.

Bus was on time to depart and reach at destination. But the seats are not comfortable for a long trip at all. Also its says free Wifi on the bus but there was no Wifi at all..on both of the busses we travelled in...

great bus service, but public toilets need serious attention

They were pretty friendly and helped us get on the right bus on time although we were running a little late however she told me to remove my card from the machine too early and then told me off for it which was a little weird. Also didn't inform us when we bought the tickets that we needed a return bought then and there or wouldnt be able to come back. Tour bus driver was absolutelty amazing though and we really enjoyed his singing

Nothing much to say about it, we bought our tickets online so didn't go in to the shop. Was pleased that the bus stops had the destinations written on them.. the women's toilet was reasonably clean but stunk to high heaven, worse than anything I have encountered before..

Bus right on time, good service and affordable prices. The location of the station is also convenient in the heart of the city. You can leave your bags into the very affordable lockers at the station.Their rewards program and app is also great. Recommended to all.

It's a located under a building and bus terminal is on Hobston Street side not visible clearly from street end. The unique and good thing is that here at intercity you need to put labels on bags kept in storage section of bus which we usually do at airports during check in of baggage. Never saw anywhere at buses such thing till date but it's really a very good way to do things. They got lockers also at the terminal but bug suitcase won't fit in them. They should think of setting up seating space as some old, patient passengers might face a hard time while waiting for the bus.

Well organized and clean bus terminal. Buses arrive and depart on time. The bus service is really good. Clean buses, friendly bus drivers and the wifi is allright. Best thing is the bus tours are really cheap even if the take a huge amount of time, but you get a nice view and a quite scenic tour.

People behind the desk were great. Cafe was nice but the toilets omg they need a complete overhaul. What looks clean isn't. Actually the entire terminal could use a little TLC

This is the InterCity Bus Terminal at Auckland City. This bus terminal is situated in the Auckland Sky City building. The Sky Tower is an iconic landmark in Auckland’s skyline. Height of Sky Tower is 328 meters. This is tourist attraction and many people visit here to enjoy. All buses to Auckland (excluding the InterCity buses to the airport) end at the InterCity Sky City terminal at 102 Hobson St, Auckland City – which is this location. There is an intercity bus ticket reserving office also available here. Nice and clean washroom/toilet facility also available here for passengers. Many restaurants options available all around.

Easy to find, the layout is clear, which is pretty much what you need when trying to find your bus. Like all stations a bit grubby feeling but no litter or anything, has a convenience store and ticket office.

I was on the bus from Johnsonville Wellington going to Manukau Auckland leaving at 9.25am on Saturday 25 January and I would like to thank the bus driver of this journey. Not only did he make it an enjoyable experience but he also made it an easy trip so well done to that driver, I highly recommend him and hope to get him as a driver again.😁

Needs more seats to sit on outside, still hasn't changed over the 25yrs or so ive been using intercity... need more variety of food places available...

I've always found quite the comfort, convenience and joy, from using Intercity to get from departure to destination, especially when each bus driver has their own unique sense of humour that comes out as they go about the journey. With stops inbetween and winding roads along the way, you're served up quite a scenic trip as you make it to the hustle and bustle of the big city(well at least that was the case for me). I had gotten off a 17 hour plane ride just that morning, at about 04h30. Took the sky bus to the terminal and had to wait it out before I got on the bus of to Paihia (5 hour drive), and unfortunately I made the mistake of needing the restroom as I waited but to my dissapointment, the restrooms were in no way fit for any dignified person to heed to nature's call. From the graffiti, the toilets that seem to have been out of order for a while and certain individuals that in no way made it a comfortable experience trying to manoeuvre in and out. I seriously hope that this can be addressed soon, as it would add to the great service this company already provides. Kind regards.

Nice!!!! Totally loved the comfort of traveling for 12 solid hours between Wellington and Auckland. Though the bus broke down a couple of times on the way... Hmm! But I met some amazing people on board and spoke about lots of things. Took lots of pictures and videos and the best thing about it is the Wi-Fi and charging points. Was online for as long as I could. 😂😂😂

It's a bus terminal, what is there to say? The busses load under a roof so you don't get wet in the rain. There is a WC. But the bulk of activities happen outside. Dress appropriately

I need to give this company a good rap. My wife left her handbag on the bus from Auckland to MT Maunganui but it could have been anywhere of a dozen places in between. Not only was it returned to her with all its many contents but Mele and the girls at Intercity bent over backwards to help us.Thank you all, you were great. 👍

Awesome helpful staff will help make sure you get on the right bus. Ticket sales and even a cafe are located here. Sheltered indoor area to wait for your bus and public toilets available too.

Had to drop daughter off as she had an early departure, but was awesome, not too many people and had no issues of parking yay

We found the station easy to find and dropped off our passenger by parking in the temporary parking on Hobson street. The place was pretty gloomy and doesn't really feel like a bus station servicing the biggest city of a 1st world country but we had no problems.

Nothing extraordinary but just expected of a bus terminal. While the journey itself was smooth, the wifi wasn't turned on and the bus speaker was too loud and left on by the driver that we could hear when he talks to someone in person or over the phone.

Intercity sky city bus terminal os sufficient for its purpose. However the public toilets in the vicinity could do with a make over and have a caretaker when more than one bus is due to arrive per hour.

Easy to find, my first time in Auckland and there's a quickie mart for snacks/drinks. The public toilet has FTP scratched on the walls. I guess it's a public declaration of admiration for the local police and how much the person who wrote it would like to propose love making to the police?!

Super helpful! HUGE thank you to the lady who helped me get on the next bus to Hamilton after the local public transport ran me late for the earlier coach. I will now make it out to my Son's birthday celebration. Xoxo

Good easy to understand bus terminal, Shame a lot of bus drivers I've experienced with intercity are miserable and egotistical! I got patronised about not pre booking my bike despite me cycling over there the day before in the rain to ask 2 drivers what they advised me to do for the following day!

Sky city Bus sleeper was comfortable, lower bunkers are weird as u can't sit up. But overall I had a good experience. Terminal was clean and tidy.

Easy to find. Next to Skycity Casino. Has a little dairy where you can buy coffee etc. Has an office where you can check with check-ins etc. Clean. Toilets bit grotty sometimes

The large terminus entry beneqth the Auckland Sky Tower is an awesome focal point to navigate towards. The sheltered atmosphere was lo ely and warm

Good location and easy to find. Nice friendly staff to check you in and advise what bus you're booked onto. A few shops nearby for last minute items. Good wifi onboard and well managed. All you could want!

It's clean with a café etc. and the destinations are clearly posted at each numbered bus-stop/bay and announcements regarding arrival & departure etc. to make it easy find your bus.

Comfortable double decker bus with free Wi-Fi, enough leg room, Good views from the bus. Stops at bus stations allowing passengers to grab a bite or drink or use bathrooms.

Easy to get to in Hobson St and good signage of which bus to get. Just look at the sk0000 four digit number on Yr mobile, printout and that tells you where to stand for your bus. They leave on time.

It's a bus terminal, nothing special.

This is the main hub for Intercity in Auckland. It's easy to find the location and it's easy to find whatever bus you need as they hang signs with the location. The information office is also located there. There are free toilets and a small shop and cafe there as well.

Very good service, clear answares and jice attitude of the girls at the desk. Intecity is the perfect way to kove among NZ if you want to avoid deiving. It is also cheaper. Not always nice because some busses are older than others and bus population can be .. Very particular .. Especially around Rotorua

Ladies were very helpful and polite. Gave me the information I needed quickly and with a great smile. Good to see in these troubled times.

Bus terminal was easy to find and close to Central Auckland. Very convenient location since it's close to public transportation. The bathrooms were really dirty though.

Installing sockets to charge a phone could be a good idea. Also, loading people to the bus need to be started earlier, because buses everytime late for 15 minutes.

My bus driver Willi made my trip! Was travelling with my boyfriend on our way to Wellsford. Willi got everyone on the bus super quick and we were on the road right on time. Just before Wellsford Willi came over the intercom telling us he was going to pull over so that he could jump out and take a quick pic with the corrugated iron goats. So he pulled over jumped out and I took some photos for him. Even though traffic made us 45 minutes late, Willi managed to make it the best bus trip I’ve ever taken!

I have been traveled with this company over than 10 times Auckland to Wellington. This company is very thoroughgoing with the time, and affordable in terms of prices. Never disappointed so far

The lockers at the terminal are very helpful especially if you have a very heavy luggage, you have to pay though with coins. It is near a convenient store and have toilets as well.

Typical bus terminal that is fairly well organized. The check-in process for the bus tours could be more efficient, but it works... It is very conveniently located.

I have used this terminal a dozen times now. It's in a really handy location and is well organised. I really like the signs used which clearly indicate each buses destination(s).

Clear directions, buses running to schedule, staff really helpful and friendly. There's a countdown round the corner so if you have a long journey ahead, can pop in there for snacks/drinks before.

Sux no parking which is hard unless ya rich an can afford SimCity parking also someone stole our sleeping bag an bus haven't called us or any contact at all since grrrrr

Cafe half closed at 7:30pm but had large dry ham n cheese roll $6.40c but coffee not bad.

I travelled on an Intercity coach from Auckland to Whangarei on Saturday 5th May (departing Auckland 1.00 p.m.) and would like to make a special mention of the driver, Opea, who was, without doubt, the most upbeat, informative and helpful driver that I have ever encountered on any of the journeys I have taken with any company. So often the guys behind the wheel go unrecognised, but Opea was a star and I just wanted to make sure he got some recognition for the great job he did. With thanks, Kay from Whangarei.

Great tour bus company - tour driver was fantastic, very informative and great guy to be around (look for Damian!).Intercity was very organized with coordinating buses in and out of terminals and included meals were delicious.

What is most important is that they provide luggage storage service. For a 28' suitcase, it only cost NZD 6 per day.

I travel often to Auckland, from Wellington. Auckland to Wellington...the night bus is the best, free Wi-Fi and there's even plugs for convenience of power to the technology devices, phone ad laptops

Wasn't an easy find for me but whole experience was great upon departure and arrival back at terminal, helpful staff, outbound driver was great keeping us informed all the way to our destination

Locker system expensive $5 to open to put bag in. Then $5 to open to get it out = $10. Small waiting room clean. On windy day platform can be cold.

I used intercity bus today from Tauranga, it was good location to visit Auckland city centre. Easy to find and the people were helpful.

I guess bus terminals aren't meant to be uplifting, but the darkness and hanging around were unpleasant. The people were very friendly and helpful though.

Picked up a passenger. Parking was exerlent. The place was pumping with excitement.

Easy booking via internet, good prices, nice service, no toilets on the bus but there will be a busstop ( each 2 hour's), no food on the bus;

The rest rooms could use an upgrade and the seating space is limited. Travellers found it tough when we had to wait for more than an hour due to a delay in service.

Many people of all different background have hopped on Intercity Coach Line Buses, or just waiting for someone to pickup-dropoff, close to nearby outlets, entertainment throughout the day.

The driver was amazing but when the bus stops the air con shuts off and it is so so hot on the bus for like 20 minutes it’s heinous

Nothing comfortable about this place. Not enough seating in the waiting area. No short term parking. You have to park in the casino building which of course you have to pay for.

Central location, bathrooms were closed for repair and waiting area was small and not many seats around. Quite a walk from the Britomart train station and local bus stations.

It's big not too crowded and gives a good vibe as if it's a big part of the city. Gives a very welcoming city feeling.

I use it to travel to airport and back everytime! Easy, Relaxing, wifi, ac, mostly friendly drivers. Cheap to top it.

It's a pickup and drop off 😁 station for people coming and going out of Auckland, very noisy with all the traffic and there's no parking for drop offs and pick ups, can't use your phone cause of the noise🤔

Your typical bus terminal. Theres a pretty cute foodbar/dairy next to it which is a great place to grab some snacks for the bus.

Usual less than salubrious environment. But makes me glad to get on the bus.

It's kinda basic like, think of it more as a big bus shelter than a bus terminal.

Not clearly noticeable for a new person in the city. Staff are helfpul. Well maintained.

Great Buses To Help You Get To Places You Need To Get To Up Or Down The Line Or Across

Enjoyed this beautiful Terminal every morning when I commute to Howick.

Friendly booking team and our driver is wonderful and helpful.

Terrible location for parking when dropping off or collecting bus passengers

Okay place for Bus Terminal, but it did not have much parking space for drop off

Nothing comfortable about this place. Not enough seating in the waiting area. No short term parking. You have to park in the casino building which of course you have to pay for.
