Super friendly and efficient service. My hairdresser was a beautiful African lady (I forgot her name sorry!) who took the time to understand my hair even if I was just after a very last minute trim. Initially told the wait was going to be about 65-70minutes but only ended up waiting 30minutes. Had a fantastic conversation too which was a bonus.

The best!! Unfortunately I didn’t get the name of the beautiful and talented lady who took care of my hair today. I had previously gone to a salon in south Auckland to get a cut and was very disappointed in their service, my hair was so uneven I couldn’t wear it any other way but in a bun. Thankfully I came to Newmarket Just Cuts and was blessed to have Mrs Ethiopia completely transform my hair! And now I love it so much! Great customer service, took her time to get to know my hair history so that she could give the best service in which she did. Thank you so much again! I’ll be back for sure!

Been a few times, experience is average to good. Some hairdresser rushed through the cut even though there's no one at the store, while other times when it was really busy they took their time. Would probably choose another store to go to if you want a more consistent service.

Update.... So, I finally got to go here and Monique basically followed the outline of my hair and gave it a tidy, when I had asked for a style cut. When I got home, I noticed my sides were shorter than the other and my neck hadn't been shaved. It's only been three weeks and already I'm getting the flicks at the end of my hair and there is a piece around my ear that wasn't cut properly. I'm a bit disappointed as the reviews here give this salon a good reputation of the hair stylists.

Azeb is the best! I decided to get bangs to change up my look and she did the best job. She is so lovely too! She takes her time and makes sure that you are 100% happy with your hair before you leave. I always look forward to coming in to see her for a fringe trim or full haircut. Thanks Azeb! ♥️

Online check in, never had a long wait. $45 for a hair cut, wash and head massage! How to fall asleep in the sink 😂. Save yourself the blow dry fee and get is styled, they dry it a bit anyway.

Thank you to the amazing stylist Waleed who has attended to my hair on two occassions. So super happy with both haircuts. I highly commend Waleed, who is friendly, professional and always gives fantastic advice on haircare.

Went in for a cut last week. Just needed a trim and couldn't have asked for a better service. I think my hairdresser was Waleed - he was so friendly and chatty and gave some really good advice regarding my hair. I will definitely return next time I need a cut.

I am a shy person, going into Just Cuts was such a lovely experience, the lady who cut my hair was so sweet and nice. I fell in love with my haircut and she cut it exactly how I wanted. The establishment was easy to find and I have been getting lots of compliments on my hair. Definitely one of the best places I have been to get my hair cut. Will definitely be returning. The shampoo was also really great!

I went here last week and my experience was super nice. I believe the lady who gave me a haircut was called Kayato (?) and she was really friendly and gave me exactly what I asked for and Google reviewers are right to compliment her so much! She is really very good! I think the lady who was doing the cleaning up etc was called Abby (?) And she was really nice as well. The customer service as well as the price and skill of the people I encountered here was just wonderful and I will definitely be going again whenever I decide to get a hair cut! 🙂

I got a very good haircut (from Waleed I believe), am pleased with the service.

Japanese young lady, Kayo gave me the most perfect haircut I’ve ever had! She's extremely talented and she understood what I wanted and made it even better:) She gave me a shampoo with fabulous head massage as well. It’s really worth to pay extra!!! She’s also absolutely friendly and sweet. I’m totally satisfied with her high level of service and skill. Will definitely go back!

Fantastic service, my stylist was so friendly and worked with me to understand exactly what I wanted. I went from shoulder-length to very short hair and she spent the time making sure it was perfect. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting their hair cut, from a trim to a totally new style

I have been to some Japanese salons because I like Japanese style but all Japanese salons are expensive in Auckland. Luckily I found Japanese lady here and she is very good. She not only has skill but also she is friendly plus good customer care. Thank you and definitely see you again!

I’ve been to this Just Curs twice. The first experience was absolutely amazing. The staff were fantastic with a lot of product knowledge, also a pleasure to be around and I left feeling a million bucks with my hair cut and wash. Although, I went in the afternoon and a completely different set of hairdressers were working. I left very unsatisfied with my cut, I did tell the woman who cut my hair that I was unsatisfied and what I wanted changed (a bit more symmetric, as one side was well off and it looked very unnatural with hard lines) she had an attempt but wasn’t too keen on even being at work I think. My experience with this woman was not at all good, she was very blunt, uninterested, with very little attention to detail and zero enthusiasm - Even a little enthusiasm and a smile can go a very long way. Luckily, I read in the receipt that if you return within 7 days they can touch up your cut. Apart from this experience with this one hairdresser, I would definitely recommend.

Friendly staff but they were going to wash my hair AFTER the cut?! Strange. Not the worst value chop I have had.

I went there yesterday and my stylist(sorry but I don't know her name...Japanese lady) is very professional and super friendly:) Sadly lady at reception was a bit grumpy...but I will definitely go back!

It's ok if you want the tips cutted or quick fix. If you're looking for stylist maybe not the best option.
