B.Stayed here with my husband and our little dog. We had a powered site in the back corner which provided a bit of privacy. We had a kitchen in our camper but the bathtoom facilities were perfect! Omg the showers, seriously im coming back purely foe the showers 😂
The staff and guests were friendly, we ended up staying a few extra nights. Location is so close to the beach though make sure you go to a supermarket before you arrive.
Will definitely be back. So dog friendly!!

Has cell signal reception, Cafe around the corner( Burger is good), playground in the regional Park, less than 1 hour drive distance from North Shore.

N.Very safe campground, kept absolutely clean and tidy. Just next to Muriwai black sand beach, good place to surf or even a stroll early in the morning. Close attraction -watching the Gannet is just 5 mins up the hill. We hire a tent, there are only 2 of these. We were given led lights. Very sturdy, great experience for the children. Definitely a five stars for this campground

We are staying in a cabin which is similar to glamping.
Have been watching the sunset and the sunrise from the cabin deck. You can hear the ocean all night/day and it's just a short walk to Muriwai beach.
A.Stayed two nights at Muriwai Campgrounds with the family. Showers, toilets and kitchen area are exceptionally clean. Not too far of a walk to the beach. Overall Muriwai is beautiful! The views are 😍 Will be coming back.
A.The campsite looks very new and it very clean and well maintained. They have all the facilities the usual NZ campsite has and more (they have a laundry area). There are also a couple of cafes nearby.
There are a few trees around the camp area which did a good job to give us shade under the sweltering heat of the sun (we went there summertime).
The beach is also very close to the campsite. There's a cave at one end of the beach but I reckon it would be dangerous to go in because it sits on top of the water and the waves tend to crash the rocks on the shore.
It was a very beautiful experience for me and my friends.
M.Awesome campground. Super clean, kitchen is nice, fantastic hot showers included, friendly staff manager owners. Fun activities to do near by - hiking, walks, disc golf, mountain biking, beach, fishing, groceries not far.

D.Immaculately clean bathrooms and kitchen. No pool, games room, or TV room though. Lots of little kids so if uv got those it's a good place to go. Not many bigger kids so if uv got those go somewhere else.
