Reviews of Silo Park
D.
An absolutely enjoyable experience at silo park. Beautiful weather, nice views and both adults and kids had a lot of fun. There is free rock climbing for kids over 20 kgs between 10-1400 and the staff was friendly and helpful.
There are pay parking lots right next to the park so it’s very convenient. Highly recommended for everyone ❤️
S.
This place keeps getting better, more spaces are opening up and more interactive things for kids.
3 new basketball courts seem really close to.
P.
Wow this place finally has seating I changed my rating from 3 to 5 star, the elevator on the steal elevated structure is still out of service since two years ago, not friendly for disability access, but the park has improved, could we see a permanent kiosk open soonish let's see
A.
Such an interesting place. Boats, playgrounds and silos, sculptures and gardens. I came down here in the summer to see the busking festival and it was lovely!
d.
Been there few times for our evening walk, very nice urban park
M.
Love it! I great place to take whanau and freinds for a night walk or scooter rides. Also if you seem to be there during lunch, and feeling hungry. Don't worry about driving out and looking for a place because just a few steps from silo park is a long road of beautiful restaurants and bars.
W.
Very good design and very suitable place for kids to play too .. a lot of nice photos shots
M.
We have been to Silo Park several times to watch the Prada Cup and America’s Cup races on the big screen TV.
It’s a nice park with plenty of grassy seating area and some public restrooms nearby.
Right now, there are food trucks there and a seating area for relaxing and having a few beers while you watch the races.
It’s only a short walk from plenty of surrounding parking, also.
We will keep going back to watch the races until the America’s Cup is finished
C.
Nice park. Can't say much. Is quite crowded but you can get some nice views from the view spot.
K.
One of a kind! This a favorite for Aucklanders. There are playground, sand pit, water fountain in the park. Also restaurants and eateries are in the vicinity. It has hosted all sorts events and activities in the Summer particularly.
T.
A good place to hang out, especially in a sunny day! Breathtaking view can be seen and is a good spot for photography! Might have different activities going on everyday like movie show for people to relax and enjoy together, thus bring your family along! There are many restaurants and food stalls around too, so don't need to worry if you're hungry. Securities are also walking around to make sure everyone is safe, love this place!
B.
1st time here, for Matariki festival. Awesome, other than accidentally paying for the persons parking before me, couldn't get through to the number on the machine
A.
Such a vibrant area, neat basketball court with a new lot thats just been put up!
Neat spot heaps of food places for a bite to eat and parking decent
J.
Awesome place in the city! Movies in the park will be run for summer here. Such a cool relaxed area, great to see the super yachts near by and the heritage landing. This is a must visit area if your new to Auckland, amazing view of the harbour bridge. A lot of activities and events are held here from time to time be sure to check on the silo park website.
D.
Lovely, really. Come here with my friends from time to time, always pretty sights and stuff to see. Though, very tragically, DONT WEAR WHITE JEANS IF YOU WANT TO RECREATE YOUR CHILDHOOD EXPERIENCES, THE PLAYGROUND IS NOT WORTH IT SOLIDER
R.
Nice place to hang out with the family, riding scooters along the wharf, kids playing in the playground and plenty of food places to dine at... probably pay a pretty penny though so we opted for pizzas to feed our lot.
a.
Awesome place for there a lot of fam activities you can do from playgrounds to basketball courts, soccer football court as well as vast space where you can roller skate and the nearby restaurants are also lovely
K.
Great spot to hang out, has bathrooms, a basketball court, plenty of seated areas and a great view of the harbour Bridge and Sky Tower. Head there at night to really get a spectacular view. Also plenty of restaurants just a short walk away.
D.
Silo Park is good place for kids. Even though it is smaller than other parks in Auckland Central City, it has good scenery, dynamic playground, basketball court, and grass field. Specifically, I recommend the visit weekends because some outdoor games are provided only weekends.
a.
Awesome place, nice set up if your going during night time. you can see the lights and harbor Bridge view.
D.
Great little spot with some amazing suoer yachts to look at, playground is missing a slide (every playground needs a slide) and the basketball court is only half lol for a large area they should have done a full court. Would be nice if they had some electric BBQs too, like many of the other parks in Auckland.
y.
Must visit place in auckland for newcomer. Lots of things to look out there, best view of harbour bridge, rainbow machine, movie shows for free, lots of option for food with number of bars and restaurants. Best place to hangout with friends and family.
B.
Amazing place for the whole family. There is a park for the kids to play, ride their bikes, a lot of eateries at walking distance. The Auckland fish market close by is must go to place for fresh fish as well as fish n chips. Plenty of paid parking around as well. A lot of look out spots perfect for photographs!
S.
This is still a fun place for young families.
Great cafes and great children's playground near North warf.
C.
Silo Park always has a good vibe, full of families and kids. Always a great place to walk through after a fabulous dinner in the Viaduct.
One of those things that we do every time we are staying in the CBD.
P.
Nice outdoor open space, usually quiet. Plenty of activities can be done here, there is a playground with lots of equipment for the young ones and a basketball court for teenager. Also a little pool with artistic structure on top of it, lots of toddlers playing in the water.
Car parkings nearby, first hour is free, just have to enter your plate number. Street parking is $3 per hour.
Towards Dec endings there is social gathering events with food stand and playing area. Also projected outdoor movie which attracted lots of people coming.
Overall excellent place for families.
T.
We visited on Sunday at noon time, it was full of family with children. Some teenagers were playing basketball in the basketball court. Toddlers were having fun in the water area.
M.
My kid's enjoy going here, it has a lot of good family memories. Went for our little outing a walk and had dinner down there (took our own food ofc, not many eateries open down at Wynyard Quarter 😢 we saw only one operating sadly). Our level 3 lockdown treat, to get out of our house and see new scenery after 8 weeks!
K.
Nice place to sit with a coffee or ice-cream. The diesel smell can be overwhelming sometimes but usually it's not too bad
M.
Went to Silo Park for the first time for a Matariki event last night and it was such an amazing venue for it... I'm looking forward to going to more events there now!
J.
Nice place to enjoy with your friends, family and partner. There is a half basketball court which you can play with your friends and beside of that there's park for kids and teens as well. When the sun is set is really a good view to enjoy with your partner. Good place to relax too.
D.
Very nice spot at weekends. Great Double Dutch chips, hand cut and all! A rare find if I'm honest. Chippers seem to mostly fry up oven chips and it just ain't the same damn it! Also great music and food and drinks trucks. Great spot to chill in the evening sun.
P.
Awesome concept. Well done Auckland for adopting an old area and giving it some love. Old Silos now are a beautiful space that is an art gallery, and I think can also be hired out for private functions. We went just before Christmas and it obviously had a real Christmas//carnival feel. Great fun. Also one of the best things about Silo park is ample parking, and very affordable.
S.
Beautiful area with cafes and restaurants nearby. It's perfect for who loves boats.
N.
Such a nice park, with a play ground, basketball court and little water spouts, right next to the wharf it is beautiful to walk around and electric scooter on a nice day.
G.
Dilo Park us distinctive because it is open space. It's nice just to be there. While it nowhere near compared with South Bank in Brisbane it does have features of it's own and is likely to improve as tank farm develops. The biggest thrill is those excessively huge boats being refurbished. Staggering sizes which we can only watch and admire
J.
Beautiful place to visit at any time of the day, sunrise to sunset. The gardening, the structures and art create a warm and comfortable environment.
S.
We love this spot. Lots of events are held here, from outdoor cinema, exhibitions, markets, food trucks, and performances. It has an urban vibe and is child friendly. There are two playgrounds, basketball court, and water parks nearby. If you're hungry, wynyard quarter or the fish market is a short stroll away.
A.
Good for an early morning or late afternoon walks, near to public transportation and seafood restaurants and markets. Outdoor activities and water splash park. Calm and quiet for a peace of mind after a busy day. Nice scenes of the sea, skytower and Northshore Bridge.
M.
What a best place to take kiddos out for play 😉 loved this place . There's few coffee shop selling gelato and coffee along the piers . So coffee for mums or dad and ice cream for kids !
F.
Fun place to visit and have a meal overlooking the water. There are loads of restaurants to chose from or just enjoy walking and taking in the views and atmosphere. Often markets on a Friday night in the summer
P.
Great place to take the kids on a nice summer day. Plenty of place to hang out while the kids explore and have fun in various structures built to be explored by the kids. Sals pizza and Auckland fish market eateries are right there.
C.
Amazing to spend time with the family. There are events frequently.
E.
Such a cool park of the city - really enjoyed spending the evening here eating and watching an outdoor movie. Check out the events happening here before you go.
J.
Great outdoor place by the docks. There is a playground for kids and not so kids. You can see the skytower from here. Sea breeze is refreshing. There is a bird bath area where you can interact with these feathered creatures. Long benches are best to just sit or lie down to relax.
Y.
My kids always have fun when visiting this place.
N.
Stopped for a discreet sesh and sanitary stop hitting the road hard n fast. 2am and guys are shooting hoops it's cold too.
D.
Really cool place to chill and hang out. There is a playground and basketball hoop. There are plenty of space to run around and good views to look. Restaurants are right next to it and often there are events held here.
T.
Amazing place for the kids to run around their is a playground and a wee water part for them to play in.
M.
Excellent venue for the upcoming Americas Cup series. Only down side is all of the ongoing roadworks happening. Don't bother bringing your car into town
S.
Love exploring silo park. Always lots of things to see and do
J.
Nice public space with the occasional events, flea markets and food truck visits. Public toilets nearby and exhibitions in the Silo are a treat. Great harbour view is a given.
A.
Great place for an daytime/evening walk, shooting hoops at the park, family friendly into the evening, always some council run events, or choose from some of the many restaurants.
Also the recently opened ASB theatre.
D.
Very good atmosphere and nicely designed area. The Silo Cinema was ongoing when we visited on a Friday evening. There was quite a big crowd with food stalls nearby. Theres nice art sculptures, and a basketball court too. Like how the restaurant nearby have a modern design and a huge range of selection of food. Nice stroll after dinner.
A.
The Great place for mass events!
A lot of various things that can keep attractiveness for short periods of time, great example of industrial park transformation.
Very limited free parking space, expensive alternatives, so the best way to travel here - is walking, cycling, scooting or public transport
I.
Great place to take the kids too on weekends.. some awesome views nearby too
E.
Amazing view with great weather! Great place to read a book or just look the sea.
k.
They've been holding so many amazing events in silo park and we love 'em!! Can't wait for more events!
C.
Excellent park. Good facilities. Accessible. Little lack of parking.
J.
Great place to take your family. Great nearby restaurants
S.
Some retro art, some kind of graphic (gore) but outside of that a nice place to walk, run, jog. Be wary of wearing hats and loose clothing such as scarfs. A bit windy right by the water.
V.
Cool place down by the water, walks . Boats and restaurants galore 👌
H.
1. Clean
2. Easy to find a vehicle parking
3. Can see the amazing bridge clearly
M.
Transfered to America's Cup Village till March 2021. (Limited time) I enjoyed a lot. 😊
A.
Amazing place to walk and take kids/pets for a great evening.
K.
This is an incredible use of space. From an underused space with huge silos to a community destination. The area was green and felt safe. The park sometimes has outdoor movie screenings.
C.
Amazing place to see great views. The harbour bridge and the waterfront. Great to take photos.
V.
Lovely walk along the marina to Silo Park just watch out for the buses!
C.
Beautiful park with kids playground, steel sculpture , steel deck platform for city view. Also dock for yachts
T.
Beautiful place to take kids for an evening out. In the heart of Central Auckland
T.
Its a nice area but can get hot. Bring sunblock and your sunnies. Kids love climbing the tower and there is a park to play in too. View the super yachts and then have a beverage close by. Why not stop by the fish market before going home too?
R.
Cool open space so close to the restaurants and heaps of parking

m.
deep dive exhibition silo park, this is a great experience to learn about the ocean, some great work and its free. Running till December 3rd

J.
Amazing stuff and it is really easy to get your attention on the understanding of your interests in the world
R.
Developed just before the 2011 Rugby World Cup. There are plenty of places to explore with some stunning views. During summer, there are free public movie sessions held here. Moreover, there is a playground for kids, a basketball court, and a walkway which allows you to oversee the premise. It's simply a nice place to walk around. Be sure to go to the end of the pier to get a great shot of the Harbour Bridge at night time.
M.
Nice and calm on days 3 of new year. I think most people went out of city
S.
Very beautiful place to b at on Sundays with family n friends.
E.
Cold but worth watching lights for 20 odd minutes during a event if they pop up
o.
Great place for dinner or a bit to eat through the day and a walk afterwards to see super yachts, good outdoor playground for kids, and teens, nice ambiance and pretty at night with the water and harbour lights. Lots to see or simply sit and chill for a bit.

A.
I went for a walk and grabbed some food for dinner. I enjoyed both and saw kids playing during my stroll. Easy going and fun.
D.
Awesome little park in the heart of the city!
N.
Pretty crowded during the America's cup this year, but we got so much positive vibes. Gelato was also giving service on the spot where almost every one was getting a cone ice cream. The pavements were beautifuly painted with Maori patterns and figures.
S.
Nice place to visit with family, but no free parking. Harbour & marine view.
D.
It's new and has a interesting layout , very sandy.
H.
lovely place, busy restaurants and pubs but still good to go
C.
Beautiful area of the City to take in, lovely place for pictures.
S.
Silo Park always has amazing family friendly events and activities on. I love the outdoor theatre especially. The playground is also second to none. One of our familys favourite spots to go on a lazy Sunday
P.
Wide open space, near the ocean. Great place to be. Last time we went there was a dancing class for all who wanted to join in. Market tents abound, and there is great seating as you walk around and if you want a wee rest. It is a great place to have a relaxing inner city experience. Is a great place for persons of any age. Kids have a ball here. Silo park on the viaduct in Auckland is great so many cafes and restaurants to choose from Wonderful vibe everywhere Should check it out when in Auckland
N.
A wonderful place to wander around.
B.
Neat open Park area to chill with friends with plenty of food outlet / restaurants near by.
M.
Great place for a walk and to look at some of the super yachts.
M.
All under construction now. Not so nice anymore.
A.
Great public space for events however it can get overcrowded during market days and silo movie nights. Awesome playground for the kids. Great views of the harbour bridge and marina. One hour free parking in the AT carpark. Good access to bars and restaurants along North Wharf including the newly reopened fish market.
J.
Silo Park is an awesome place to visit, not only for the adults but also for the kids. There are often mini food festivals during the day and large screen night movies with. The kids love playing at the park there are plenty of restaurants to check out along the strip.
A.
Great for watching movies! Just make sure you rug up as it does get quite chilly and windy at night.
S.
You can have a lot of fun there 👍
L.
Beautiful place where you can enjoy the Harbour views and explore sensory activities and a basketball court. Beautiful fountain and water sensory mechanics for kids to play with. Slides can be found there. A fence where people have put their engraved locks for memories and a tiered bridge walkway so you can get better views of the park from above. Theres also elevators available on there for the disabled to get on. Silo is a place for EVERYONE and is open 24/7. Toilets can be found next to the playground.
T.
BBQ to celebrate Chris Webb moving to Australia
r.
Great park, with some awesome events over the summer months. The only down side is ongoing construction causing excess noise and limited parking at times. Apart from that great area, and very close to the new auckland seafood market and food court with heaps of great places to eat and drink.
M.
I've been here several times for different events but probably my favourite thing to do here is watch the outdoor movies the put on in the summer. The views at night (the bridge and Sky Tower) and during the day are pretty spectacular. The food options during the movies are pretty good here as well if you are hungry.
T.
Chilled out in the shade next to swimming area
N.
What a sweet place! We've been here a few times for the summer movies in the park. It gets pretty chilly, so make sure to bring something warm. There's a great
2 view of the harbour bridge!
K.
Great place for all ages. Playground is sand based. There's a basketball court, a water fountain (which kids love paddling in and there is often markets. Don't miss Friday night silo cinemas in summer too!

D.
Great park for the family. Five stars
M.
Gr8 lil spot in the CBD to chill for all ages
M.
Artificial lawn for toddlers
Sand play area and few ride on toys and swings for kids
Plus very near to lots of restaurants near viaduct
It's a win win situation for both kids and parents
During summer usually they have weekend movie shows which are projected in the park
B.
Nice spot - with interesting areas to explore with the family. Will be great when more of the waterfront is opened up for recreation. Will be wonderful when we can walk/cycle over the bridge to come.
S.
Lovely place to chill if you're at the Auckland waterfront. Children's playground, nearby carpark, part of the City link bus route and there's plenty of eating places to choose from
S.
Kids love it down here .. they had a popup juggling thing with hoola hoops and juggling things. Some good restaurants here as well ... will be amazing once it's all developed. Parking in the street is free but a little trick to find a spot. Nice walks and some hidden playgrounds in the area ...like the water area
R.
Beautiful park with lots of activities around for all, the kids area is fun along with a basketball court, water fountain and lots of options for cycle and scooter rides. Finally the beautiful views of the city and the waterfront with the close by restaurants you only wish the weather is sunny around.
T.
Went down with my niece for the photography laundry. Great spot on a sunny Saturday. Kids in the playground. Sweet music and vibes all around. Lunch in one of the many choices around the area. Parking was Ok as per the timing of our arrival, you have to pay, can pay by efpos.Easy walk from britomart if catching the train or bus. If driving roadworks and detours everywhere at the present time.

Great during the summer, watching movies under the sky. Food trucks during the night markets are deliciously good. There's a kids playground on sand, and a basketball court. Sometimes there's cool exhibitions in the silo's themselves
L.
Nice walk along the marina, beautiful views of the city and trendy eateries
V.
This is amazing. We went fairly late but still the place had a great vibe with lively venues, a play area, and a lookout platform with a great view of the city.
We randomly ended up watching a show inside a container.
Going there was a great idea, would love to go back!
B.
Great place to relax. Easily find seats outlooking the water. Usually there will be events on, and with that a myriad of food trucks will be on show. Plenty of places to eat around here. Nice place to take your dog for a walk
D.
Always enjoy taking little one down here. Great atmosphere and nice to see them keep these old solos and convert them into something interesting. Nice play area for children, clean toilets, fish markets across road as well as lots of dining options. Nice views of the city.
O.
Interesting place
V.
What a beautiful way of reusing an old utility. Perfect for families. The open air theatre is a must do! Lots of food trucks. A bar. Lots of space for kids to run around.
D.

J.
Really cool place to hang out. Looks good over summertime and lots of bars etc close by for refreshments
D.
Great spot for watching a movie on the Silo, Whale Rider screened here tonight, Friday 25 January 2019.
M.
There is a good playground with events happening often. It can be hard to find parking if they have an event that attracts a lot of people. There is a water feature that little kids use as a pool when it is hot.
S.
Great play ground for kids and awesome viewing platform behind. Water feature is great too. Could do with a little more shade on hot summer days
r.
Children's playground very popular.
D.
Aptly named Silo Park exhibits old silos presumably from the shipping and industrial industry nearby. From here you can sit in awe at the beautiful yachts sitting in the harbour and also it is a fantastic spot to watch the sunset which isn't too far away from the city centre
A.
Great use of otherwise dead space. Nice food stalls and a bar at weekends, plus games for kids to play. Good play park and paddling pool area.
Toilets not particularly clean though.
M.
Awesome spot down by the water to walk around and take in the views while you catch the latest event going on there. It boasts a nice viewing platform, neat little playground, and some bars/restaurants just across the street if the usual food trucks aren't to your liking.
j.
Great place to spend the afternoon with family food bars and restaurants also available
A.
Very nice came with the family today really enjoyed the area
G.
Nice place to hangout during the weekends. Food truck and movie screening during summer from 5pm onwards. Great place for family. Fish Market is just next door and you can walk along the wharf. Lots of eateries lining the wharf.
A.
Such a vibrant part of Auckland City full of fun choices for all ages. Excellent array of restaurants. Love the serenity of the place on weekday evenings. And... amazing view of the iconic Harbour Bridge. Great vantage point to view the #VectorLights 🌆
M.
Walk up from the Viaduct Harbour and over the bridge to reach Silo Park, a former industrial site that has been converted into a cool community space. Every summer, the park hosts a series of open-air movie screenings and the surrounding area is regularly used for concerts, markets and other events. For visiting Instagrammers, the area is a good go-to if you’d like to discover an interesting contrast between rustic shipping elements and modern artistic fixtures like the iconic Wind Tree sculpture.
R.
Great location for families or just catch up with friends. Open air movies sometimes being projected on the silo so be sure to check event schedule. Lots of bars/cafe's/restaurants to choose from with great views of the viaduct. Popular hang out place
M.
Pretty spot at night time with colourful lights lighting up the silos. The area is surrounded by art, a great playground, basketball court and fountains which always seem to have at least a dozen children in them during the summer months.
The Silo park markets and cinema are also worth a gander and can make a fun night out with your significant other or your kids.
E.
A fun place to take the kids. Boat watching. It has a playground and a walk up stair look out area. So lovely to spend the afternoon there.
L.
If there's something on this is a good place to visit, but I find that there isn't a lot of on-site guidance on where things are and what to do. Obviously locals can find places to eat and drink, and it is interesting to stroll around, but you could stroll aimlessly for quite a while, and not really "do" anything. Certainly a good place to meet up with friends and while away some time.
A.
Quite a special place due to is uniqueness. Can be a meeting spot and also a park for families. Downside is that there are literally no signs or indications where is what so it made me find myself lost easily. The wharf and the big wheel offer grand views during golden hour. Worth a drop by.
O.
One of the most amazing and coolest places in town! I didn't know I'd ever find such a cool park in town. Very nice to see people enjoying their Sunday afternoon in the playground, sparts courts and other facilities attractions in a refurbished old port.
J.
Great for a walk around -Childrens playground
Most of the restaurants a little expensive
For an afternoon snack don't ask for a simple plate of wedges and a drink
None of them offer wedges --only string fries --yuk
A.
Great place to hangout with friends and family on weekends. It's a small place but you get snacks, souvenir and few other stuff. During summer they keep free Movie shows in the night which is a great fun with a family and friends.
A.
A good public outdoor place, in the summer, the council often runs public movie screening along with night market. The food pricing is a bit dear for a night market, and the available drink options are organic variety which usually means the expensive version of whatever it is. During the day, it's a good place to hang, and if you like basket ball, there's a public basket ball court nearby, as well as a playground.
B.
We came here twice.
Once during the week and had the good opportunity to see all the harbor area as well as all the boats from the elevated area provided by the structure.
The second time there was a school band contest ongoing with good music as well as several fancy food trucks.
Y.
Always available with several good places to take photos and videos. It will not make you too bored as one and another event takes place
S.
Very cool place. Worth a visit.
T.
Beautiful sights accompanied with the vibe of a friendly environment. It even felt safe at night with people shooting hoops late into the evening at the basketball court and plenty of moonlight walkers enjoying the calm harbourviews and breeze.
A.
Popular park with childrens giant sand pit. Skate park. Basketball. Great heritage retaining of several of the silos. Great venue in summer for outdoor movies
B.
Cool little post-industrial spot to walk around, check out the wharf with an array of classic yachts.
V.
Good to come Here on sunny day
T.
Good place for kids and young adults
A.
One of coolest places to hang out, be it a weekday or a weekend. Bars, restaurants and food trucks offer all kinds of food options. Summers are even better with outdoor cinemas at the water front
N.
Lots to do with the kids. The playground, the waterfront and the buskers, the library in a box, the activities with the local iwi can make for an awesome family day. The new parking meters at the car park are super annoying though - need a PhD to figure out how to use them.
S.
My best spot to hang around. $2 parking is very convenient. Lot you activities for kids and teenagers. Basketball court is a special attraction. Marine and luxury boats always parked here.
S.
Free parking nearby!! Plenty of nice bars and restaurants lining the docks.. silo park host movie nights during the summer where they project a movie onto one of the silos, popcorn and snack galore. Playground and basketball courts and nice walkways to chill out and relax
S.
Biggest shopping mall with the only Zara in New Zealand
S.
A really nice place for the city council free movies
a.
It is made very nicely with fully protected mats & sand children friendly .parents can sit near by for supervision
J.
What a superb place to take the kids or just hang out any time of the day/week. Most of the time there is something going on, from movies in summer, night food markets on the weekend and more events. Great park with lots of activities too.
P.
Great place to take kids
T.
Small but useful park/ playground for kids to enjoy. Even a lift up to s viewing area to see the surrounding area. Easy access to cafes and restaurants
M.
Love Silo Park- so many great events hosted here for Aucklanders.
Very pretty/charming at night.
Great place to meet friends for an afternoon get together, brunch, lunch or dinner with a great selection of restaurants so many options for dining. Then stroll around Silo Park in the evening or catch an outdoor movie ( in summer).
D.
Great place for a date, art on display, views of the harbour bridge and the best view of Auckland's skyline. Some of the city's best food is found here as well as the marine museum.
L.
A great outdoor space that has been reclaimed from the old dock use.
This area holds markets, outdoor cinemas, food trucks, sporting events like the World Masters.
A great place for a walk, to nose at the super boats and to see the Auckland Bridge from a distance. When the bridge is lit up this is a great spot for photos.
The walkway also gives you a high vantage point, and has lifts for wheelchair users.
A playground is close buy and toilets as well as cafes and resturants that make up the Wynyard Quarter.
I.
Amazing atmosphere on a sunny day
J.
Nice place for kid n family or even for a couple. Nice place for kids with playground. For adults is great to walk along the harbour. But not recommended for food. Half restaurant is good n half is Soso. But all expensive.
A.
Great place to come just for a quick walk from the city. The events hosted regularly also provide some good variety. The outdoor movies are also recommended for an easy date or night out.
C.
A fun easy place to visit on a sunny or slightly sunny day. Very family oriented. Higher end restaurants. Fresh market is great value and a little different for lunch.
A.
I used to work in them silos when firth. Concrete was operating there back in 2008 now seeing them still there brings back good memories.silo park is beautiful place will go back and chill eat and rest and enjoy the day cool
J.
There is always something going on at the Silo, some sort of festival, free movie/music or food market especially during summer time. Having the playground and pool will keep the kids entertained. And the basketball court for the young at heart. Lots of pay parking around the area. Otherwise catch the tram from Wynyard or bus from the city.
T.
Pretty nice park. Small, but with an Interesting design. There are some playground and water features around the area, and an elevated structure near the silos
K.
Great spot with a full summer schedule of outdoor movies and exhibitions. Lots to do around and relatively easy to get accessible parking or public transport.
J.
Cool place for anyone looking to chill out, grab a bit to eat or a few drinks. The summer full moon open air cinema on Friday nights is a really cool idea, but you will have to try your luck with whichever film is showing.
J.
Down here on Silo Park was great heaps of intertament going on allso Live Dj even just walking around down here at night was alsome.
S.
Really nice place to go for a walk . Great if they have an event or show a movie here.
I also like to eat fish and chips on the grass areas nice for a picnic and stuff like that
T.
Almost like Melbourne, but so not quite (lol). Silo Park is a good gathering place for groups or couples, with cuisine restaurants nearby, a tiered structure for viewing the city’s landscape and art installations that takes the imagination for a ride
M.
Great family outdoor place. Here's where the open cinema happens during summer. Nice to walk around. There's a playground that becomes really crowded on weekends
T.
Always such an awesome vibe and so family friendly as well. The events organised over the long weekends and public holidays over summer are phenomenal. We always enjoy heading down to Silo Park!!
Y.
Parking is easy and access is convenient. Although shops and brands can be more selective for consumers, food court is good to but some restaurants are pricey
T.
Great spot for all lots of amenities to go to and plenty of eateries you can try 😀
W.
Lovey lovely place, there are food stores, live band, and the area is just awesome to visit, it’s very difficult to explain, never thought they could turn this old oil tanks yard into such a remarkable community space !
G.
Excellent spot for rollerskating
J.
Was a fabulous daybout yesterday huge crowd, organiv ice creams, ice blocks snd foof stalls. Great fsmily events fir children at North side of Wharf...26.1.20 Auckland Aniversary
C.
A truly fantastic central city park. Always things happening.....today the inaugural Aoteoroa steel drum festival...wicked.! Food trucks, great kids playground, beer tent & superyachts to drool over.
E.
In less than a year silo park has transformed from a construction site to a world class recreation area and is not yet packed with people.
Having lived in sixteen countries around the world I can tell you it soon will be.
Bring you super yacht we'll service while you wait
O.
Went to a Jurassic Park screening here, audio and video were good and the atmosphere was really nice, everyone was really chill. Food trucks were great and there was a lot of variety.
D.
Always an interesting place to visit, also has a great playground for kids.
J.
Silo park is an ex-industrial themed area featuring great views of the watefront and harmour, small water features, public toilets, playground, and plenty of places to chill. A great place to stop by for an hour in the evening during your adventures in exploring Auckland city.
B.
Get down here people and have a look at the fantastic development taking place. Plenty to see, do and choices to eat and drink. Finally we are getting it right down here.
M.
Great place for the kids to play and explore including changing scenery throughout the complex. Includes a basketball court and playground.

Nice cool place by the harbour to chill out...toilet facilities and restaurants and go-cart foods etc...

D.
Nice park built up from original industrial site. Great for a walk along the water and plenty of restaurants alongside. Fish market also nearby. Parking is a reasonable cost
S.
A great part of Auckland harbour. Terrific place to take in the scenery, & to grab a bite or just relax in the old wharf freight buildings that have been converted to a brilliant hub of food outlets, restaurants, bars & entertainment venues.
B.
Nice walking area around Wynyard Quarter. There seems to be markets/stalls/food trucks in this area most weekends so always something to look at. There is also a playing area nearby.
Z.

This is a great place and reusing old parts makes it an interesting place to visit especially with the kids. There is always something happening here and plenty of good restaurants and bars nearby.
o.
Awesome place for walking around with the fams jump on a lime and scooter around but a little pricey when kid's are after some lunch or something expect to spend quite a bit for hot chips Johnny burgers has the best deals there with the $10burger combo👍
T.
Artistic industrial, they have turned what would be a drab part of town into a center of art and culture. The city has made it a place that is not an eye sore, but spruced it up with artwork and playgrounds that are more than just your run of the mill slide and monkey bars.
R.
Great place to be with the family but despite clear advertising of a smoke free zone people still light up cigarettes and force others to breathe in second hand smoke. Security / Council do nothing about it which is a real shame.
H.
Great location to relax!
F.
Perfect hang out for weekend, monthly festivals. Stunning views. Good place to just relax in the sun, heaps of food and drink options. Family friendly.
A.
Great park with sand, basket court, play area and also the neon lights at night. Has a ocean view, restaurants all around great idea for use of ground.

Located in central Auckland, there's lots to see and do in this hub! :)
R.
A wonderful public space. Great for kids.
M.
Perfect longboarding spot
K.
Not too impressed with the hot sand on the kids playground, some other type of ground cover like bark would be better. Also, there needs to be more shaded areas.
W.
So you walk and walk and walk past the Viaduct harbour and past the Wynyard Quarter and you walk a bit more..... And then there is the Silo Park. It's an interesting bit of the historic part of the Auckland Harbour..
It's got a kids playground, the old silo's and is close to the historic boats fo the harbour.
There are often exhibitions in the silo's which are usually worth checking out...
So, go on, stretch those legs and have a peek!!!!
J.
They're just silos but when you live in Auckland CBD, it's a welcome break. Nice park area. UNFORTUNATELY, you are not allowed to go up the silos but the have built a weird long metal structure which you can go up as a consultation prize...
B.

Breezy and unsheltered in places - too many high-end eating places, not enough 'ordinary' (economical).
