An absolutely enjoyable experience at silo park. Beautiful weather, nice views and both adults and kids had a lot of fun. There is free rock climbing for kids over 20 kgs between 10-1400 and the staff was friendly and helpful. There are pay parking lots right next to the park so it’s very convenient. Highly recommended for everyone ❤️

Wow this place finally has seating I changed my rating from 3 to 5 star, the elevator on the steal elevated structure is still out of service since two years ago, not friendly for disability access, but the park has improved, could we see a permanent kiosk open soonish let's see

Such an interesting place. Boats, playgrounds and silos, sculptures and gardens. I came down here in the summer to see the busking festival and it was lovely!

Love it! I great place to take whanau and freinds for a night walk or scooter rides. Also if you seem to be there during lunch, and feeling hungry. Don't worry about driving out and looking for a place because just a few steps from silo park is a long road of beautiful restaurants and bars.

We have been to Silo Park several times to watch the Prada Cup and America’s Cup races on the big screen TV. It’s a nice park with plenty of grassy seating area and some public restrooms nearby. Right now, there are food trucks there and a seating area for relaxing and having a few beers while you watch the races. It’s only a short walk from plenty of surrounding parking, also. We will keep going back to watch the races until the America’s Cup is finished

One of a kind! This a favorite for Aucklanders. There are playground, sand pit, water fountain in the park. Also restaurants and eateries are in the vicinity. It has hosted all sorts events and activities in the Summer particularly.

A good place to hang out, especially in a sunny day! Breathtaking view can be seen and is a good spot for photography! Might have different activities going on everyday like movie show for people to relax and enjoy together, thus bring your family along! There are many restaurants and food stalls around too, so don't need to worry if you're hungry. Securities are also walking around to make sure everyone is safe, love this place!

Awesome place in the city! Movies in the park will be run for summer here. Such a cool relaxed area, great to see the super yachts near by and the heritage landing. This is a must visit area if your new to Auckland, amazing view of the harbour bridge. A lot of activities and events are held here from time to time be sure to check on the silo park website.

Nice place to hang out with the family, riding scooters along the wharf, kids playing in the playground and plenty of food places to dine at... probably pay a pretty penny though so we opted for pizzas to feed our lot.

Great spot to hang out, has bathrooms, a basketball court, plenty of seated areas and a great view of the harbour Bridge and Sky Tower. Head there at night to really get a spectacular view. Also plenty of restaurants just a short walk away.

Silo Park is good place for kids. Even though it is smaller than other parks in Auckland Central City, it has good scenery, dynamic playground, basketball court, and grass field. Specifically, I recommend the visit weekends because some outdoor games are provided only weekends.

Great little spot with some amazing suoer yachts to look at, playground is missing a slide (every playground needs a slide) and the basketball court is only half lol for a large area they should have done a full court. Would be nice if they had some electric BBQs too, like many of the other parks in Auckland.

Must visit place in auckland for newcomer. Lots of things to look out there, best view of harbour bridge, rainbow machine, movie shows for free, lots of option for food with number of bars and restaurants. Best place to hangout with friends and family.

Amazing place for the whole family. There is a park for the kids to play, ride their bikes, a lot of eateries at walking distance. The Auckland fish market close by is must go to place for fresh fish as well as fish n chips. Plenty of paid parking around as well. A lot of look out spots perfect for photographs!

Silo Park always has a good vibe, full of families and kids. Always a great place to walk through after a fabulous dinner in the Viaduct. One of those things that we do every time we are staying in the CBD.

Nice outdoor open space, usually quiet. Plenty of activities can be done here, there is a playground with lots of equipment for the young ones and a basketball court for teenager. Also a little pool with artistic structure on top of it, lots of toddlers playing in the water. Car parkings nearby, first hour is free, just have to enter your plate number. Street parking is $3 per hour. Towards Dec endings there is social gathering events with food stand and playing area. Also projected outdoor movie which attracted lots of people coming. Overall excellent place for families.

We visited on Sunday at noon time, it was full of family with children. Some teenagers were playing basketball in the basketball court. Toddlers were having fun in the water area.

Went for our little outing a walk and had dinner down there (took our own food ofc, not many eateries open down at Wynyard Quarter 😢 we saw only one operating sadly). Our level 3 lockdown treat, to get out of our house and see new scenery after 8 weeks!

Nice place to enjoy with your friends, family and partner. There is a half basketball court which you can play with your friends and beside of that there's park for kids and teens as well. When the sun is set is really a good view to enjoy with your partner. Good place to relax too.

Very nice spot at weekends. Great Double Dutch chips, hand cut and all! A rare find if I'm honest. Chippers seem to mostly fry up oven chips and it just ain't the same damn it! Also great music and food and drinks trucks. Great spot to chill in the evening sun.

Awesome concept. Well done Auckland for adopting an old area and giving it some love. Old Silos now are a beautiful space that is an art gallery, and I think can also be hired out for private functions. We went just before Christmas and it obviously had a real Christmas//carnival feel. Great fun. Also one of the best things about Silo park is ample parking, and very affordable.

Dilo Park us distinctive because it is open space. It's nice just to be there. While it nowhere near compared with South Bank in Brisbane it does have features of it's own and is likely to improve as tank farm develops. The biggest thrill is those excessively huge boats being refurbished. Staggering sizes which we can only watch and admire

We love this spot. Lots of events are held here, from outdoor cinema, exhibitions, markets, food trucks, and performances. It has an urban vibe and is child friendly. There are two playgrounds, basketball court, and water parks nearby. If you're hungry, wynyard quarter or the fish market is a short stroll away.

Great outdoor place by the docks. There is a playground for kids and not so kids. You can see the skytower from here. Sea breeze is refreshing. There is a bird bath area where you can interact with these feathered creatures. Long benches are best to just sit or lie down to relax.

Very good atmosphere and nicely designed area. The Silo Cinema was ongoing when we visited on a Friday evening. There was quite a big crowd with food stalls nearby. Theres nice art sculptures, and a basketball court too. Like how the restaurant nearby have a modern design and a huge range of selection of food. Nice stroll after dinner.

The Great place for mass events! A lot of various things that can keep attractiveness for short periods of time, great example of industrial park transformation. Very limited free parking space, expensive alternatives, so the best way to travel here - is walking, cycling, scooting or public transport

Developed just before the 2011 Rugby World Cup. There are plenty of places to explore with some stunning views. During summer, there are free public movie sessions held here. Moreover, there is a playground for kids, a basketball court, and a walkway which allows you to oversee the premise. It's simply a nice place to walk around. Be sure to go to the end of the pier to get a great shot of the Harbour Bridge at night time.

Pretty crowded during the America's cup this year, but we got so much positive vibes. Gelato was also giving service on the spot where almost every one was getting a cone ice cream. The pavements were beautifuly painted with Maori patterns and figures.

Silo Park is an awesome place to visit, not only for the adults but also for the kids. There are often mini food festivals during the day and large screen night movies with. The kids love playing at the park there are plenty of restaurants to check out along the strip.

Beautiful place where you can enjoy the Harbour views and explore sensory activities and a basketball court. Beautiful fountain and water sensory mechanics for kids to play with. Slides can be found there. A fence where people have put their engraved locks for memories and a tiered bridge walkway so you can get better views of the park from above. Theres also elevators available on there for the disabled to get on. Silo is a place for EVERYONE and is open 24/7. Toilets can be found next to the playground.

Great park, with some awesome events over the summer months. The only down side is ongoing construction causing excess noise and limited parking at times. Apart from that great area, and very close to the new auckland seafood market and food court with heaps of great places to eat and drink.

I've been here several times for different events but probably my favourite thing to do here is watch the outdoor movies the put on in the summer. The views at night (the bridge and Sky Tower) and during the day are pretty spectacular. The food options during the movies are pretty good here as well if you are hungry.

Kids love it down here .. they had a popup juggling thing with hoola hoops and juggling things. Some good restaurants here as well ... will be amazing once it's all developed. Parking in the street is free but a little trick to find a spot. Nice walks and some hidden playgrounds in the area ...like the water area

Went down with my niece for the photography laundry. Great spot on a sunny Saturday. Kids in the playground. Sweet music and vibes all around. Lunch in one of the many choices around the area. Parking was Ok as per the timing of our arrival, you have to pay, can pay by efpos.Easy walk from britomart if catching the train or bus. If driving roadworks and detours everywhere at the present time.

Aptly named Silo Park exhibits old silos presumably from the shipping and industrial industry nearby. From here you can sit in awe at the beautiful yachts sitting in the harbour and also it is a fantastic spot to watch the sunset which isn't too far away from the city centre

Walk up from the Viaduct Harbour and over the bridge to reach Silo Park, a former industrial site that has been converted into a cool community space. Every summer, the park hosts a series of open-air movie screenings and the surrounding area is regularly used for concerts, markets and other events. For visiting Instagrammers, the area is a good go-to if you’d like to discover an interesting contrast between rustic shipping elements and modern artistic fixtures like the iconic Wind Tree sculpture.

Pretty spot at night time with colourful lights lighting up the silos. The area is surrounded by art, a great playground, basketball court and fountains which always seem to have at least a dozen children in them during the summer months. The Silo park markets and cinema are also worth a gander and can make a fun night out with your significant other or your kids.

If there's something on this is a good place to visit, but I find that there isn't a lot of on-site guidance on where things are and what to do. Obviously locals can find places to eat and drink, and it is interesting to stroll around, but you could stroll aimlessly for quite a while, and not really "do" anything. Quite a special place due to is uniqueness. Can be a meeting spot and also a park for families. Downside is that there are literally no signs or indications where is what so it made me find myself lost easily. The wharf and the big wheel offer grand views during golden hour. Worth a drop by.

Great place to hangout with friends and family on weekends. It's a small place but you get snacks, souvenir and few other stuff. During summer they keep free Movie shows in the night which is a great fun with a family and friends.

A good public outdoor place, in the summer, the council often runs public movie screening along with night market. The food pricing is a bit dear for a night market, and the available drink options are organic variety which usually means the expensive version of whatever it is. During the day, it's a good place to hang, and if you like basket ball, there's a public basket ball court nearby, as well as a playground.

We came here twice. Once during the week and had the good opportunity to see all the harbor area as well as all the boats from the elevated area provided by the structure. The second time there was a school band contest ongoing with good music as well as several fancy food trucks.

A great outdoor space that has been reclaimed from the old dock use. This area holds markets, outdoor cinemas, food trucks, sporting events like the World Masters. A great place for a walk, to nose at the super boats and to see the Auckland Bridge from a distance. When the bridge is lit up this is a great spot for photos. The walkway also gives you a high vantage point, and has lifts for wheelchair users. A playground is close buy and toilets as well as cafes and resturants that make up the Wynyard Quarter.

Artistic industrial, they have turned what would be a drab part of town into a center of art and culture. The city has made it a place that is not an eye sore, but spruced it up with artwork and playgrounds that are more than just your run of the mill slide and monkey bars.

It's an interesting bit of the historic part of the Auckland Harbour.. It's got a kids playground, the old silo's and is close to the historic boats fo the harbour. There are often exhibitions in the silo's which are usually worth checking out... So, go on, stretch those legs and have a peek!!!!

They're just silos but when you live in Auckland CBD, it's a welcome break. Nice park area. UNFORTUNATELY, you are not allowed to go up the silos but the have built a weird long metal structure which you can go up as a consultation prize...
