Reviews of Snickel Lane
M.
Snickel Lane is an amazing little food court in the center of Downtown Auckland.
It has plenty of covered seating and is open 7 days a week.
There are many options for food and drink, including a coffee shop, Polynesian poke bar, European, Japanese, and French restaurants, a florist, and a vegan carry out on the sidewalk (Lord of the Fries).
We have eaten our meals from the vegan restaurant inside here and we enjoy the large covered (and in the winter, heated) seating area.
It’s a great place to grab a coffee or a quick meal, a few beers, or to just hang out with friends.

LA Fuente....thats all you need.
Google asked me to review snickel Lane but I don't care about snickel lane. I never get further than la Fuente.
It's a small little bar with knowledgeable staff.
Mainly wine and mescal but what more do you need.
Until you step out of snickel lane and realize that you are back in auckland, you could be in Mexico city or perhaps somewhere in Europe.
Give it a try

The customer service was exceptional and the food was amazing, fresh and didn't take too long to get plated. Very clean and cozy.

Cosy if you want somewhere to hide from the rain and have good coffee or a tequila

Hello Cafe, delicious pastas pizzas & other dishes with drinks. A charming way to spend a couple of hours in a lovely setting. Come here on a date, a catch-up or even a treat for yourself. A little slice of Europe in downtown

We always have coffee at Altezano on Oueen St when in the city and I was pleased to hear that the lovely Farrah will be returning. However as they had not yet opened this year we visited Snickel Lane and enjoyed a great coffee there. All Altezano staff are very well trained at coffee making as is reflected in their consistancy.
Cheers and looking forward to seeing you again in the new year.

Mad Samurai was excellent! Good, genuine Japanese food, and my favourite beer, Suntory Premium Malts! Service was Japanese style, so excellent! Definitely going back!

Had a wine at the South American place. They were super friendly

A cosy, interesting laneway. Bars selling alcohol and small cafes. Great for a stop enroute or for a meeting up with a friend. Interesting the way the buildings construction hasn't been hidden. Hope more places like this 'pop up' around Auckland.

It is a cute lil lane with seating areas for a few bars, restaurants and cafes, even a florist
It h is nicely decorated with a wooden ceiling and colourful walls with some cool background music. Mainly for evening visitors where most places are open.

The best vibe in town, a great place to unwind even if you are not eating fine food or drinking fine mescal
A.
I stumbled across Snickel Lane recently. It’s a cool space with a variety of restaurants. I ended up grabbing a dish from Ika Bowl and eating it in their shared space which was pretty cool. I’ll defs be back to try some of the other restaurants 👍🏼
