We went there in time and they are waiting for us . My husband wait in the waiting room while I went to the other shop near them. We were told that it may take 3-4hours for our radio to be instal. We spend the time waiting from 2:00- 4:00pm. While waiting, there were a lot of customers coming in with purchases as well as asking for their opinion of what product is right for their cars. Everyone comes in scan the code and wear their masks. Our job finish at 4:00pm , they walk us through the radio systems that we purchase. My husband and I were happy with the service and the way they inform both of us of what may happen with the product we want. We are happy with the service they give us and was surprised that we were not charge for the labour only the products we buy. Thank you Sound Around Limited for a job well done .

These guys have looked after me well over the years, I can be quite particular and not the easiest to deal with but they have always been helpful and laid back. Had my polo gti's sound system done in stages and they gave me complete fluidity about what is being done and what will suit it best. Once I got my ute and had some flexibility to splash out a bit more, I can honestly say I have never had a sound system like it. Stu and the team were very hospitable with booking times for install and even went out of their way to make my front speakers fit properly in the doors as i didnt want to downgrade to suit. I will always use and recommend these guys.

TBH as a woman on the wrong side of 65, I was not looking forward to entering a ‘Sound’ shop thinking I would be a fish out of water, expecting loud music and young men with little tolerance of an older woman needing to replace a snapped car aerial. How wrong I was! The staff were so friendly and helpful. The service was 5 star and it cost including installation way way less than I had budgeted for. I appreciated the comfortable waiting room while the work was carried out and there was no loud music 😂 I can’t recommend the team at Swanson Road highly enough. Great professional team. They listen to your requirements and your budget then make suggestions based on the information. There was no hidden costs and the installation was done efficiently and within the timeframe set. The customer service is excellent and they took the time to actually come find me in the cafe next door to talk to me about an adapter I'd need for the car rather than just surprising me with something added to the bill. I am over the moon about the new sound system. Highly recommend these guys.

These guys are absolute legends I brought my car in to fix my steering wheel controls and reversing camera after my brother in law installed a new head unit in incorrectly. I bought a stereo from Sound Around about 2 1/2 years ago but my car battery died and when it was replaced the stereo wouldn’t switch on. I booked in with the guys at Sound Around to take a look at it and they got it working in about 10 mins. I asked them how much I owed them for fixing it but they said no charge. Was really blown away by their generosity. Top guys, highly recommend! They also gave me a good deal on the stereo in the first place so this is definitely the place to go!

Hi, The service I received was very professional and I would highly recommend them to anyone. I had issues with my old speakers and was advised by the guys at Sound Around to wait until I had the head deck replaced before purchasing new speakers as sometimes a higher quality head unit is all that's needed. I was most impressed with the Sound Around team and my new audio system. I was asked about what I wanted for my car and then provided with several options all at very competitive prices. The installation was quick, less than an hour for my chosen system as well as the headset being preset with radio stations, my cell phone tuned in for hands free AND I was given a good explanation as to how to use the kit. 5 stars is not enough. Very genuine guys. I have brought off these guys for over 20 years. After i realized their prices were the best, 'why shop elsewhere'. Never been to Sound Around, but was suggested to me by my previous handyman from Sound Q. Went from there today to get an alarm and immobiliser for my Altezza, took about 5 hours. Which didn't bug me, and I came to pick my ride up, and on the last minute I asked Terry if they could have a look at the headunit on my car to see if it had an aux input. On which they had to take the dash apart, I asked if there was any payment, but they gave it to me for free! Would recommend and go back. Cheers guys!

I am retired and live on Waiheke Island. I was in selling (Retail, Wholesale, and Direct) Most of my life. I contacted a car stereo firm over a part for a car stereo that they manufactured. The firm told me the stereo was obsolete and to throw it away.
