Its an amazing place. The best place from health point of view in New Zealand. I would like to thank Auckland Council for building such great place for the welfare of community. Very reasonably priced. Real value for money. My most favourite is High Pressure Jacuzzi inside, really unbeatable, not seen in any country I have worked and lived or roamed around the world. Marketing needs improvement. Not many guys knows this amazing place and the benefits it offers. AT can also look into the possibility of a bus stop next to it. The staff is amazingly pleasant and highly supportive.🙏

Lovely vintage building with rather small pools. Everything is clean and tidy. A small cafe at the entrance area. The only problem is parking, but ideal for inner city dwellers with walking distance from downtown apartments. The fare is reasonable!

Lovely pools. Thoroughly enjoyed the steam room, spa pool a good soaking. The kiddy sic adult pool was pleasant to dabble in.

Has a small 25m lap pool and kids pool - also has a steam room, sauna and spa pool. Luckily it wasn’t very busy when we went but I could imagine it getting quite crowded during peak times which would somewhat ruin the experience

Been here twice and I dont regret anything. Warm pool on one side, sauna , steam, jacuzzi like thing and a bigger pool. Deepest end is about 2.1-2.7Metres. Not very sure of the exact dimensions. Costs is $6 for students one time or $7.8 for non-students. Good thing is spectators just pay $1 so family members who cant swim can still tag along. Has a gym upstairs too.

As someone who is immune compromised I am very careful where I go. My Physiotherapist is based there and we use the pool. It continues to be possible because the Tepid Baths is strictly and carefully following the covid protocols including checking vaccine passes against ID for anyone they do not personally know by name. I love this as it allows me to continue my physio programme at the pool 🦼🙏💖

Changing room is clean, the main pool is much colder than other pools I've been to, one bonus point for the learners pool which is warmer so it's much more pleasant to swim in. The spa, sauna and steam room are as expected however limitation due to Covid is distributed weirdly and can get overcrowded quickly.

The staff was very nice and accomodating. Lifeguards are always present. Very nice place to learn and practice swimming.

INCREDIBLY lovely swimming space. Delightful natural daylight streaming through the glass roof illuminates the clear blue water. Startlingly clean for any urban pool. Tastefully renovated to keep feel of the heritage bath complex while providing first rate facilitates. Excellent friendly staff, who were very kind and helpful. Attentive life guards. Clean bathrooms, well- equipped with hooks and soap in showers, even an ironing station (!). I loved the vintage feel white tiling, the old school change cubicles, showers everywhere, and the overall feeling of sparking clarity and light. The sauna after was nice (though like all kiwi public saunas, not hot enough sadly). I swam the furthest I've ever swam because it was just a beautiful meditative space. Thank you Auckland!

Such a great place. Staff are always super helpful, they have a hoist for those who need help transferring into the pool. Always clean and tidy with extra facilities gf or this going to work after like an iron, hair dryer etc. Always clean and tidy. Nice size pool with options for spa, sauna and steam room as well as a children's pool which is slightly warmed. Great changing rooms and showers, lockers that you bring your own lock to, or there are pool side changing rooms where you can leave your stuff. Have not checked out the gym upstairs but their opening hours fit for many people.

Had a nice swim with the kids today 3/4/21. The pools were clean and warm as change rooms were also. It is a historic building and awesome to see the old photos and info about the pools on display. My rating would have been 4/5 stars however the 2 young lifeguards on duty were far more interested in each other than watching the swimmers. There were several small children in the pool I was in with my kids and they stood with their back to the pool for over 5 minutes while talking/flirting with each other. Some more training needed there.

It’s usually not too crowded. Water is very clean compared to other public swimming pools. Hot spa area is also nice after doing some laps! Almost forgot to mention but kids warm swimming pool is generous in size, which allow parents to join in the fun :) the only thing that I wished was that the adults pool is 50m long like Olympic pools!

Took confident 2 yo grandchild with me. He had lots of fun.

This is a great place to go anytime. I guess the greatest challenge with swimming pools that have lanes is that they are often very busy at peak hour when people want to do laps, etc. Putting that aside, the pool is clean and the water is the perfect temperature. Having a Jacuzzi, a dry sauna and a wet sauna just adds to the experience and there is even a gym upstairs if you're so inclined. They sell lots of swimming items in case people don't have what they need when they arrive and they have good tidy changing rooms and showers, etc. Remember to take your own padlock for the locker room and it might be wise not to take too many valuables with you, as occasionally opportunists will break into lockers and this can happen in any facility.They can even make you a coffee for a reasonable price. I think the complex was recently renovated, as the pools are about a century old and they did a great job! I'll be going along as often as I can manage. 😊👍

Fun for the kids, you can take your floaters and have a blast. It’s simple a play pool which was nice and warm and a bigger lane pool. There was a spa too! I liked that it was clean and not too crowded, we went on a Sunday afternoon. This place would be perfect during winter and rainy days, it was getting hot inside and stuffy especially if you are not swimming.

Nice for a Sunday swim. Large pool has plenty lanes at a nice warm temperature. Smaller warm pool is great for kids & families, and also has two swimming lanes. Changing rooms and general facilities are very clean. Info is shown about the Tepid Baths 100 year old history with interesting exhibits. Under 16 yrs is free and adults only pay $8.

Great facility for both gym and pool. Spa is awesome. Staff are friendly and helpful. Although, some newbies need further training. Gym equipment are fantastic and receiving a birthday coffee just tops it off.

Not enough steam in the steam room also there was some junkie hanging out in the spa

Quite a nice place to take your kids to learn swimming! Highly considerate and kind staff. Recommend them every time. The lifeguards are all doing a fab job in keeping the environment safe.

Great spot. It was used as the pool for the apartment I was staying at. Great for exercise swimming. Less so , to entertain kids on vacation. Bring your own towels. It is great infrastructure and the staff is great. Just know that it is good for little kids in the kiddie pool and for exercise in the adult pool but not for kids to just mess around in. You cannot fault the pool, it is great.

Superb pool and well equipped gym.

Being my local baths, these get a heavy use, and they're great. The pool itself is clean and not usually too crowded of an early evening. The spa, steam room and sauna are also good, if a little small. If you go regularly, and buy per visit, ask about the bundle of ten which is better value. One star off for the awful website which tells you nothing. Staff are friendly and helpful though

Great location and reasonably priced. There is a good array of gym equipment and not overly busy even during peak hours (5pm+). The leisure pool is a bit small but good for beginners. The lane pool gets busy so try avoid peak hours.

This place is really nice clean and enjoyable.

Clean, attractive, practical. Loved my visit to this historic institution where my father swam 60 years ago. The modernisation of the facility has been so well done, retaining the beautiful architecture & fittings.

I love this pool. Its a refurbished old traditional baths which still has the changing rooms around the pool (although you can also change in the main changing rooms with showers etc.). The water is a good temperature for lap swimming and is kept really clean. Staff are very friendly and both great you as you arrive and say goodbye as you leave. There's an interesting mini exhibit of some of the history of the pool that is worth looking at.

BEWARE OF THEFT! Love this place but as a warning to others, I recently got my bag stolen out of my padlocked locker in the men's changing room - where of course there are no cameras. Not blaming the staff (who were very helpful) or the facility at all but it would be great to offer some lockers in a public area to deter thieves. Not sure what to do from now on.

Great facilities, absolutely awful service. The girls on the front desk seem like they'd rather be stuck in a cave with no water than talk to you, the pool staff have no interest in telling the visitors off when they spit into the pool, on the floor, etc in front of them. I'd do a massive staff training session on customer service and public space hygiene if I were Auckland Council.

It's clean. It has a variety of high quality services, including sauna and steam room, as well as hit tub. It's easy to use with young children as the shallow pool is warm and well laid with lots of space for the young ones.

Good modern pool and gym set up. A bit busy first thing in the morning due to the swim squads. Friendly staff.

Immaculately clean!!! Friendly service, the hot tub is actually hot, great steam and sauna, the amenities were great and it was very reasonably priced. I went every day I stayed in Aukland as it was so enjoyable and an easy two block walk from my hotel near Queens st and the Quay.

Been swimming here loads of times, this place worked really hard to maintain the heritage of the place, difficult when it’s prime real estate in the centre of the CBD, but these guys won the battle. Great swim squads and something for everyone from Ironman to casual up and down the lane swimmer

A full size pool with multiple lanes (3 slow, 1 medium, 1 fast and 2 booked) for $16 a week. If you work for one of the corporates they provide a corporate offer of $19 for pool and gym.

Great pool near the viaduct in Auckland central. I am a big fan of the water quality as it is not overly chlorinate. There are plenty of lanes even when lessons are on. There is a spa, a dry and wet sauna as well as a gym.

So much fun, the facility is very nicely maintained and heaps of showers, swimming pools are clean regularly maintained very well managed by very professional people

Always love to be here for spa, sauna n steam room n swim for sure. Glad not much people know this place so not too busy but price could drop little bit to encourage ppl to join. Always some live music would help the pool area.

It is great, cheap and well maintained. The most important is that it has hot showers. However, the showers inside the bathrooms (not the ones facing the poo) have no doors, so if you are a bit shy take care

Excellent baths in Auckland CBD. There is an adult swimming pool, children one and a hot pool in addition to steam bath and sauna. Swimming classes also happen here. Prices are inexpensive. Gym is also present in first floor. Weekends may be crowded, but still manageable.

Loved the warm temperatures and it was quiet, but the receptionist wasn't very nice she was very blunt to my daughter and rude to her partner.

Wow! I love this place. The best in Auckland CBD area for serious swimming/training and for steam/sauna. The place is very well maintained and the staff are very friendly and helpful. However, the chlorine level of water is slightly high.

I go to the gym most days and really enjoy it at Tepid Baths because it is never too busy, its always clean, the staff are friendly and its good value for money. It is a prime location in central Auckland which makes it easy to go during work hours. I enjoy with my membership the ability to use the pool and gym facilities so i can mix up my workouts.

One of the best gyms ever in Auckland. The showers are clean, and the instructors are friendly, Cesar being my favourite, long-time instructor. Also special mention is Zoe at reception who is absolutely clued up, friendly, efficient and did I mention, clued up? Staff like Zoe is near impossible to find, so keep her...!

The best place in Auckland CBD for swimming! The staff are very friendly and supportive. Locker/Change Rooms are well maintained/clean. There are enough shower rooms. The steam and sauna are also well maintained.

Great inner city swimming pool, housed in a renovated building with the original façade. Unfortunately, the main pool is not heated, but they have spa pool, sauna, and steam room. Plenty of changing area, and if you need swimming gears they also sell some. They didn't rent out any locks, as well as no coin operated secure locker, so it's better to bring or own locks or you can buy one from them. They also have a gym in the complex, which you can get access to through additional fee, or by getting a membership. They also have concessions for the pool.

Great swimming pool with usually enough space to not feel overcrowded. & swimming lanes, a steam room, a sauna and hot tub/jacuzzi. The gym is also great with a lot of new equipment and the most friendly and helpful staff members that are more than happy to hep you out and create a personal training program. Gym membership includes pool access.

As pools go this is quite a nice complex. They have life guards on duty and it is always nice and tidy. They also have a great spa pool a d steam and sauna. Plenty of showers in the bathrooms.

I always love a relaxing kick back. Even if its in the water. I had my little darling with me she loves the water, what kid doesn't like water. Nice and close to home. Good for my old muscles too. Haha. Worth the relax. You should try. Helps you also to have a good sleep

Great and free for under 16's! Best in the morning as it can get quite busy later. You can also have swimming lessons here, for children as well as adults.

$7.90 casual for swim, spa ,sauna and steam bath. Has showers, toilets and a hairdryer in ladies area. Very good and came out thoroughly "poached" from the steam bath and spa. Only a couple of the jets in the spa seemed to be working properly.

Great facilities and very helpful staff. The pool and steam room are fantastic. Having lanes set up for different speed swimmers helps to make everyone feel at home in the pool.

Great places to hangout in the afternoon before our flight back home. Nice gym, not too busy, lots of equipment, locker room upstairs was clean. Pool access, cafe and lounge area was great.

I used to swim here quite frequently throughout High School, I now work around the corner. I came into the facility to inquire about membership options and gym fitness classes and the customer service I received was awesome. The facility itself is very well cleaned and looked after.

Great facilities and use the gym + spa all the time! Its so close to britomart, staff are friendly and the facilities always clean. Its also way less packed than Les Mils so its definitely my winner!

Facilities are well-maintained, tidy, good ambiance, has children's pool, lap pool, spa pool, steam room, sauna, gym, cafe, shop, and friendly staff. The only thing missing and why I only gave four stars is that the location is a nightmare for parking. If you like to bleed money, you can use Wilson carpark if you can't find any nearby parking.

Was a member here around 05 - before the renovation. Was convenient as was just behind where I worked. Even then got the sense of the history of the building with the modern gym and changing areas. Good to see the renovation has preserved the history of the building.

I've been a member for nearly a year and I still love coming to this pool. I'm also a member of the gym which is great. The machines are all new modern and clean with the latest plug in ipod gadgets and tv screens, the staff are always nice and helpful but leave me alone because

Great place to swim laps. The lanes are usually not overcrowded so you can have a good swim without interruption. Change rooms are clean & staff are very helpful.

Always used to be packed and full of people swimming in clothes No lane discipline and lack of staff enforcing rules Shame as a lovely iconic building

The spa is OK, the seats are a bit uncomfortable. The pool isn't full length. There is a water fountain there, you just need to bring a cup or drink bottle. Most New Zealanders don't understand sauna etticate, they talk and flap around. Sometime the sauna smells really bad because people haven't showered or other reasons :( It's still a nice place to go relax when it's off peak.

I like and dislike Tepid Baths for a very accessible politics they have. Prices are not that high, so for example 10 concessions will cost you around 70 NZD (+ shower, access to saunas, hairdryer etc. are included) Although I hate that lots of people are not wearing swimming caps, which is just not very hygienic and the main doors to a pool are always open ( even for safety purposes I don't think it's necessary to keep them both open) and very close to the main entry, so It's pretty chilling when going from the pool to a sauna for example.

Best place for a quick swim in CBD. It has sauna and a gym too. Gym is a little small. 2 saunas and 1 spa pool included in the swimming ticket but not the gym. Pools included both adult and kids pool.

I love this place. If you want to relax or do some exercise and keep healthy, you will love this place as much as I do. The staff is super kind and they keep the place with an amazing atmosphere.

Marilynna teaches little kids how to swim, and her approach is perfect to those who are more on the nervous side. She is lovely with the little kids and puts them at ease in the water and gets them to trust her quickly so they end up having fun instead of being put off for life like other swimming lessons we have tried in the past. Great public pool offering good value for the facilities which incl a decent 25m laned pool, a hot bath, steam room and sauna. The kids facilities seem decent too (separate pool, lessons, etc)

Have only recent been here for the first time. Excellent facilities lap pool has plenty of lanes avalible and the spa is spacious. Only down side is theres no free parking.

My kids prefer this pool than others in the central area. Probably as it is a bit warmer and less busy

The place itself is nice. Sometime it is not easy to find a nearby parking, especially when you have kids. Beware! Nearby parking machines do not accept cash. Use AT Park App would be easier.

I love this family friendly place where I can bring my 90 year old dad for hydrotherapy and my 7 year old son to learn how to swim. Best quitest pools in Auckland.

It's a really nice pool for training. The lanes are filled from 4 to 6 but at any other time you will be 2 per lane on average.

Beautifully restored, with both full changing facilities and the retro poolside cabanas. Friendly staff when I went in. Great to see an historic pool looked after and busy.

We love going here. We travel from East Auckland, via bus, train, ferry or car, have a swim in the main or kids pool, and a spa. Lovely!

Great pool nestled in the city center. Compares favorably against The Olympic in Newmarket, but comes down to preference of 25m vs 50m.

Nice warm clean water to swim in. Also has a pool for parents and kiddies and even instructors for babies. On a cold winter day has a hot spa.

Good sauna. Really really good. Had a cool shower and water available right outside. Even had nice people in it.
