Lot of addition for children's activity playground. Now they have a self service BBQ station. Lots of parking place. The Garden is well looked after. You will find this place a great place to relax or read a book in the shade. There is a big playground ideal for gatherings and games. Just need to supervise your kids because there is a shallow river runs through the park.

We took a wander around her early afternoon on a hot afternoon. A great time to visit the cottage with the aromatic oils producing some lovely smells. Not quite the right time of year for the roses, but some are starting to smell nice and the buds are beautiful. Spotted a sculpture on our walk as well. Lots of well placed seats to take a break, but none in the gazebo which would have been a lovely cool place to rest a while.

Amazing place for all ages. Kids loved the park and smelling the flowers. Such s beautiful place.

Spent loads of time here as a child, since last being here 15years ago, playground has had an upgrade. Spent a wonderful afternoon catching up with old friends.

Don't miss this park. It is large and well set out. The trees, shrubs and flowers beautiful a real good feel factor.

Pollard park is such a beautiful spot, I go here very regularly, it's lovely to walk around, the play ground is great for kid's and the barbecue area's and picnic tables make for an awesome spot for families. They have good, clean toilets. The gardens here are exceptional.

Really nice green space to take the kids. Pond and stream full of ducks, nice smooth pushchair friendly paths. There is an awesome playground for older kids and a slightly smaller one for the little ones. The smaller playground is fenced which is a bonus. Heaps of car parking under the shade and toilets/drinking fountains on site. Great for a morning out

Took the grandchildren here as there's different kiddie activities to keep them occupied. There's also beautifully kept gardens and lawns with a small botanical area, a rose garden, an area displaying different camellias, floral displays, rockeries and more set around a winding natural spring creek. Feed the ducks and relax.

I liked the fitness trail, and well cared for grounds, with shade from enormous trees. I wish the big trees were labelled just as a beautiful rose garden is. Plant by plant. A good stroll

Visited this park on my way to Kaikoura. This park is kid-friendly and it is so well-maintained. You can see various flowers and trees here. There is a duck pond. I spent a long time sitting there just to see the ducks. The toilets are clean and there are plenty spaces for parking.

Great playground for kids, picnic area with 6 tables and benches, a BBQ to use. There's a rose garden a herbaceous border with lots of interesting rare plants and it would seem a focus on nice smelling plants. The beautiful crystal clear river which must originate from a spring. Borders a croquet, lawn bowls, tennis courts and 9 hole golf course.

The best thing in Blenheim. This is one of the nicest parks I’ve been to in the world, it has a amazing array of flowers, native trees and non native oaks, redwoods, pines and gums. It’s got a playground for the younglings, tennis courts for the oldlings, a exercise course for the middlelings. Great areas for picnics or for playing a game of football

A lovely park. Playground for children. Restful places. Seats to watch the world go by. Gorgeous trees. Babbling stream and a multitude of annuals, perennials and bulbs. The ideal place to recharge ones batteries! Good parking and toilets available.

A really lovely park. The kids had a ball with the bridges, the creek and lots of shade trees to enjoy an icecream under while surrounded by gardens.

Pollared Park is an oasis of peace and tranquility right in the heart of Blenheim. The small stream meanders through the park, providing a home for the ducks and a place of peace to sit and think as the water flows past. The huge century old trees provide shade and somewhere to keep cool on the hot summer days. There is a childrens playground too, which after recent upgrading, can now also be enjoyed by children who have a disability. The Rose Garden and the Rhododendron dell can be walked through, or if you like, you can choose the fitness course. Overall, a perfect place to spend a few hours. Good access to prams, pushchairs and wheelchairs.

Lovely place that is well maintained, clean and vibrant. Welldone to all the gardeners for keeping the gardens clean and pristine. A + I really enjoy a nice stroll or and afternoon sitting on a bench reading a book.

Great local park with a range of options for outdoor activities. Brilliantly clean and clear water running though the stream.

A nice spacious park, with a 1k gym course of its own. It's located quite close to the city and offers a good walk with scenic views. It has quite a few gardens with special plants and trees. It's a nice place for early morning walks as well as evening walks. The song of birds, the flow of water and the rustle of leaves moving in the autumn wind make it a perfect place to relax with family or for some self time. There's a kids playground, half of which is currently under construction. The park is well maintained and feels like a good spot to fall in love with nature. There are also multiple entry/exit points which make the park more accessible and convenient. I guess there's also a golf course around, but am not entirely sure about it. The little body of water is also a playground for a lot of ducks which reside here.

Loved taling a stroll through Pollard Park. It is kept looking beautiful. Worth a walk around. I do wish I'd been there at a time when the rhododendrons etc were flowering.

Beautiful well manicured park. Incredibly clear meandering stream running through it. Restful green space with variety of tree species and roses which were still blooming mid April. Keen to return in Spring in the first bloom!

Beautiful gardens. Nice big field to play soccer. Children's play area design is more about looking cool than actual fun quality. Acorn slide a bit of a nightmare for small people. It's not bad just not as good as the park by the plunkett rooms.

Quite surprised as other than the usual park climbing, spinning and slides. This park have a few interesting outdoor musical instruments for sensory stimulating experience, catering for all spectrum of kids and adult alike, not to mention the basic outdoor gym equipment at various different spot. Beautiful mature garden settings providing excellent calming meditating walk.

If you like flowers, rivers and peace this is the place for you and your family.

Lovely park with English style gardens and a wood walk along a stream. The park also has tennis courts and a playground as well as a rose garden. Definitely one of my favorite parks to visit for a quiet walk.

Perfect place to visit on a hot day! Plenty of shade to park in and the lovely shaded paths are great for a walk with the kids, and a paddle in the stream... they loved having a go on all the exercise equipment along the tracks and the big 'oak' slide was great fun!

Beautiful rose garden, running stream with lots of ducks. Great for a leisurely stroll, jog or family picnic. There is a children's play area and BBQ facilities near by.

Overall good experience. But I think we need more activities for kids to entertain.

Beautiful majestic serene

This park is stunning. The gardens were in full flower when we visited except for the roses which were budding. Beautiful walking paths through the gardens by the stream and the little lake. Plenty of shade for a hot day or sunshine if you want it. Lovely lawns too. Great for walking the dogs too.

Wide open spaces but no shelter for the children's play area as it was vandalized so was removed. Clean toilets,nice gardens etc

This is a brilliant facility, gardens are manicured to within an inch of their lives, do not think I have ever seen such well cared for gardens and surroundings, a credit to the town and the people who maintain them.

Well maintained park, I especially enjoyed the pottager garden, a nice example of how a small space can also be a productive and attractive home edible garden.

A large park, near a racecourse and golf course. The kids playground was under construction when we were there, and there wasn't a lot to do. There are some nice river walks nearby and lots of parking. We navigated to the wrong entrance (thanks Google 🙄) and spent ages trying to find the right one.

I went there specifically to a performance by the Nelson Summer Shakespeare Co. A relaxed evening of entertainment. Pollard Park is a favourite place of mine to visit.

A fabulous park. Excellently designed play area for kids. A great stone climbing area. Perfect for hunting for the painted stones of Blenheim. Adult exercise zones. A specialised rose garden and just a beautiful river and mixed flowers and edibles section. Plus lots of space to kick a ball around.

This is a great park for anyone really. Has a playground for kids, a nice botanical and Rose garden, walking paths and endurance course. Next door is a 9 hole gold course.

Pollard Park is excellent. It is safe for children and a lot of things to amuse them including a xylophone that most children enjoy. The gardens are in full bloom at this time of year and s sight to see. The park is a great place to take your children or grandchildren, have a picnic or just to sit down and relax.

New children's playground nearly ready. Other new things to look at are the ducks hiding out in shooting season and roses in June. Always worth a visit to the popular fitness trail and gardens. Quiet with little action from the Golf club and children's playground under wraps still. Worth a visit and a stroll around. Paths are nice and clear and no need to wear special shoes. Parking is still good and walking access from several directions
