L.Best fish and chip shop in Dunedin. Great value.
A.Wow, I like their fish especially Elephant. The flour also great and great chips. I will try other menus. Sometimes you need to wait while busy but they work fast and they will deliver to your car.
A.Really friendly, great service, even offered to bring our fish n chip order to the car! Food was so fresh, and their burgers are amazing.
A.Good food. Fish and chips comes with some classic t sauce and optional chicken salt. Service is great and friendly. Pop by, you won't regret it.
n.Went here for dinner for the first time tonight. It was the best fish and chips experience I've had since the waikouaiti fish and chip shop was good back in the early 2000s. On top of the exceptional chips, fish and other delicacies, the service was so good. They were clearly very busy (and the wait was pretty long), but the staff were friendly as anything and it was clear they still cared about each and every order. I haven't seen that level of service before in my life.
I couldn't recommend this place more. It's so amazing and I can't wait to come again!
R.Super nice people running it. Great servings of ice cream and excelleny fish and chips. Husband had the Tahuna tower burger and it was very impressive, tasted amazing also.
Q.OK place for Fish and Chips. Burgers are OK too. TCS reached a high level of popularity after taking over ownership but unfortunately hasn't maintained that, increasing in cost overall and decreasing in quality.
The chips have lowered in quality and are now not crispy and average. The fish is great though, huge pieces of elephant fish that are battered nicely and are of good size. This is true as of the date of my review!
However it feels as if they have struggled under the weight of their initial success and then cut corners to save time along the way. For example using pre-made Tegel chicken tenders in burgers instead of in-house.
Good level of customer support in that they bring the food to your car (in normal level 1 COVID times!) and are friendly/clear in communication.
D.When most others were closed at new year the Tahuna camp store was open for fish and chips. Large pieces of fish and really good chips.

J.For a relatively new shop, this is place has put their name on the dunedin FnC market. The value you get is probably best in dunedin. The batter is light and crispy. Chips don't leave the oily aftertaste. They continue to improve the quality. I hope I can see more items on the menu in the future especially sweet options.

G.If you want fizzy drinks or scooped or packaged ice cream, well they got that, but nothing else really around 7pm. At best you could grab a few seemingly microwavable Jimmy pies from the cooler or American cheese singles and bread, haha that's about it for food at this hour. Not sure what they have during the day but it was more of a necessity tonight than a place I'd want to rely on for dinner when camping behind.
B.What's not to like about Tahuna Camp Store? Great food, great customer service and excellent milkshakes. If you takeaways at a fantastic price, Tahuna Camp Store is the place to go.
