Alot of slot machines to choose from. Many games old and new. The atmosphere felt fun and chill. Good music too. Food at the restaurant was Abit over what I'd like to pay, but it's in the centre of where other shops are.

Went out for a few hours to the casino. As visitors we still kept our masks on but it was business as usual for all the locals who were comfortable not wearing masks due to all being at least minimum double vaccinated. Must have Covid Vax Pass for entry.

This was exciting if you are a member of Skycity you can get your card verified and park for free, (you must have enough points to claim this though) Usual practice when checking in scan, 😷 reasonable standard of dress to be worn in the slots area. A few eaterys before you head out to the main street Victoria. There is a entertainment area 1 level up for the family variety of things to do Bowling alley, gaming machines for the kids.

Amazing place to visit. I highly recommend others to go eat the delicious foods, and to play many fun games in the Sky City. I truly had an amazing experience while I was here, and I hope that to ever whom will vist this place, will also have the same experience as me and others who have visited Sky City.

Great entertainment complex in town, Skycity has various types of activities for you. Second floor is for bowling lovers especially kids and teenagers. While the first floor is for adults who are really into adventurous activities all day all night. Either win or lose, it's a game and fun! Total time spent is 2 hours which is quite fast for me. Enjoy every single minute!

Had lots of fun at Skycity today, their commitment to customer service is wonderful, they are on the ball. They have alternative entainment options available on other levels, like bowling, escape rooms. Their food at the vue bar taste fresh from their fish, salad and their portions are adequate. On a Saturday night they had a live band also.

The casino itself is very small and does not really live up to the standard that Auckland Skycity has set. Hamilton is def long overdue for a renovation. They no longer have a VIP machine gaming room for their VIP black or platinum members they only have one for table games. However the service from the staff is still great. The food is good though.

Saturday night after the footy and everyone goes to SkyCity Hamilton and i can see why. Carparking provided, entertainment was popping along with the food and drinks served at the bar by excellent staff. Well done Hamilton! You have a venue to be very proud of, and yes i will be coming back again.

The Casino is a bit dated but who goes there to check out the furniture. Not too busy due to just coming out of lvl 2 covid restrictions, signs and hand sanitizer placed strategically throughout the gaming area. Food and drinks were available from the bar and the drinks were averagely priced. Overall an enjoyable evening.

I visit here every time when I return to Hamilton. Always have a good time here. Staff is great and despite a few drunk patrons sometimes make a scene the staff tries hard to make the environment safe. Parking is easy and if you gamble enough it is free.

Nice lavish set up, outside decking ( where you can also smoke and play pokies) overlooking the Waikato River, ultra clean bathrooms and friendly service. A friend and I just popped in for a couple of drinks $9.50 per glass ( I think, forgot how much change I got back?? Oops) and had a bit of a flutter.. didn't win 🙃, but still had a good time.

Not a bad place to stop at, quite a bit smaller than the one in Auckland. Better food options here. The bowling alley was cool and was okay priced for being in a casino. Used to a round being about $3.50 maybe $5.00. Redemption machines to cash in your tickets do not give change. So win big. $26.53, $1.53 could not be cashed out. So had to gamble it.

Lunch in the sports bar is very good, with choices to suit most tastes, and excellent value for money. Surroundings are bright and welcoming, with the Casino close by, for a quick flutter, and all in the centre of town for nearby shopping...what's not to like ??

Had a pleasurable experience during Covid19 restrictions, but marred by the antics of a disgraceful doorman at point of entry who took pleasure in pissing everyone off. He even suggested that I didn't have to bring my business here. Say what? I'm sure his employer would love hearing him say that to a 50 year gambling veteran, or anyone for that matter... Other than that, good gaming, dining and bar experience... though there is a large wall erected through the length of the casino (presume alterations). Visited 6 June 2020.

Good place to get a good value, tasty meal and drink if you have one of the free membership cards. Get the card at the info booth inside the casino. The dress code is super casual for some reason. The Friday/Saturday night band/ entertainment usually caters for an "older crowd" 50+.

This is the first place to visit. Yes it is a gambling establishment but you don’t need to go into the casino unless you want to join the rewards system for discounts in it’s complex.Bowling upstairs and sports bar. Best river views. Food venues on ground level. It has a nice variety with a safe atmosphere, professional service, plenty of parking, best value for drinks and food.

It's best to call in advance to book a lane, especially during the weekends. Lanes can be booked out till 10pm. I have teens and toddlers and they all love bowling, the music and the staff are always super friendly.

I've only been to the bowling alley but man was it cool place! They have arcade games, laser lights and big screen TVs. They even have air hockey which brings me back to my childhood days at the roller rink! The lanes themselves are high tech with over the line warnings which made me want to watch The Big Lebowski. Great experience at the bowling lanes. Being a public holiday today, parking was really easy to find (underground) and only $5 to validate it. Also found out that u can validate it anytime then you have 8hours to exit the carpark building. So we paid before going to have lunch in Centreplace - was great knowing we didn't have to find another park or rush our meal.

When I was there in 2006, it was a great place I'm sure it is still I cannot wait to go back! My dear friend MS aspinall showed us around and told us the backstory of the building. What a great history lesson and tour guide we had a blast! It's about time to go back!

My wife and I work late in Hamilton, mostly 7 days a week, so we have turned to eating at the casino most nights. I find this to be the healthiest option for us as we usually pick from either the Beef Cheeks, Lamb Shank or smoked fish pie. They all come with either salary and fries, or mashed potatoes and steamed veggies. It’s a good square meal instead of relying on fast food or rich designer restaurant dishes which are more than likely filled with sugar or salt. Generally only need to wait about 10-15 minutes till it’s on the table. Great service too.

Visited the bowling alley. Venue itself was good, however some of the furniture was damaged which ruined the illusion of a more 'fancy' style bowling venue. Couldnt wear our own shoes which was disappointing.

Sky City has recently transformed itself into quite a trendy little spot with a scattering of little eateries in the newly renovated front end. Great tip: Parking here is the cheapest and best option in the city. Just need to by a drink or something to eat and pay $5 for unlimited parking, even overnight, great for if you took a taxi home after going out.

This is one of Hamilton's great entertainment venues. I'll restrict my review to the casino itself but it should be noted that there are some fine restaurants and bars and even a bowling alley and escape room on site. The casino staff is very friendly and helpful from the slot club to dealers to floor staff. There isn't as much variety in gaming as you would find in a Las Vegas casino but there's enough to keep you entertained. The payoffs when you hit jackpots are better than you get in a local bar. I enjoy the time I spend here and recommend a visit if you're in Hamilton.

It was the Tinpin Bowling Skycity, the atmosphere was amazing, the only depressing part was after paying for 2 adults and 2 young students at $78 and another $53 for 4 small drinks, a pizza and 2 chips and while playing and having to see a advertisement on a screen displaying a special of $80 for 4 including pizza and drinks. How disappointing indeed, if only the establishment had explained it at first or put up sign.

Local tap house has a nice relaxed atmosphere. Friendly waitress and friendly bar staff. My friend and I both ordered the Sirloin Steak. She asked for rare and it was over cooked. They brought her out another. I asked for a medium rare steak but that too was over cooked. I was too hungry by then and ate it anyway. Apart from that let down..the veges were crunchy (yummy fresh beans! Broccoli, cauli peas and carrot) the lettuce salad was a bit too oily for my liking. Also tried the buffalo chicken wings. ..wooohaaaaa very spicey chicken. THAT I can happily recommend!!! The black Doris cider is sooo good. I'd definitely go back there for another meal...but maybe I'll order my steak blue. Maybe it will be served medium rare... lol
