T. K.I was having a discussion with my wife when was the last time we went to the movies. Neither of us could remember . So we went to the 2pm session , The Uncharted , excellent movie . Not to many there but on the plus side we didn't have to rush to get outside . Staff friendly and helpful . And very clean toilets .
M. M. (.Great Cinema, lovely staff. Two Cinemas, one small with comfortable armchairs and sofas and the other large with old fashioned Cinema chairs. Popcorn, ice cream, the usual drinks and lollies available. Well worth it if your stopping in Hokitika.

Theater is staffed and maintained by volunteers from local community

Brent and his team were very accommodating, going above and beyond to help ensure that everything went smoothly for our instructor.
It was a very cool set up for our training. We recommend to anyone needing to hire a space for a talk or training event. Nothing beats a big screen! Brent is happy to help wherever he can to ensure the venue fits your needs.

M.Loved this little old theatre. They show mainstream and a little more obscure films as well so there's something for everyone. This was perhaps the crispest screen I've ever watched a movie on and sound was great as well! Large popcorn was $5.

J.This theatre is worth a visit if you want to see a movie. The screening room is small, but very clean and the seats are just really relaxing sofas. The screen itself is big and the audio is clear. It's really fun to watch a movie with just 20 people in the room and most of them are locals, and they're always good talking to!

C. P.Great use of the building. Cosy small theatres and plenty of choice from films screened. Downstairs live musicals produced by the local High School as other productions and events. BIG ice creams!
D. B.Smaller Reynolds room 2 lights left on eventually switched off after requested. No sound proofing from larger theatre, audible music came through the wall. Very warm, perhaps no active ventilation. 3d quite good, sound a little quiet at times. Larger theatre far superior.

R. G.Its surprisingly larger than I thought. The seats we acceptable. The exit floor level light that comes on between the movie when someone passes through is not directed to the floor & spoils the experience as light falls in your eyes.

R. F.Quaint wee theatre. Take a blanket in winter (or whenever) to snuggle in as it can get a wee cold and the seats aren't that comfy. The Reynolds Room plays art/smaller audience movies and features couches etc.
