E.Great place to have a kids camp. Plenty to do and the 3 Days the kids when having a school camp there come back different people, some get over fears, some come out of themselves but all come back with smiles and laughters that every child should carry with them. If you child’s school doesn’t do camp there, they also run holiday programs. No child should miss out on going to Vertical Horizon Camp!!!
G.It was a beautiful place. To have Easter camp weekend. The hall, kitchen area, seat was great place. I didn't stay the night. I only out day time. I have got a disability with my health, and balance problems. Only problem l had was with steps had no rail help people down the steps. Otherwise l had a great time out there with my friends and my new friends l had meet out at the camp. I was happy, smiles, laughing, great time out there. And l would go there again next year to camp again in April
next year 2022.God bless very one. 🙏🙏🙏
A.Fantastic camp for kids. So much to do. Great food!
C.The food is ok nothing bad but nothing over the top amazing.
The staff are always encouraging, nice, helpful and overall always have a good attitude towards students, teachers and parents.
The motto of the camp is "Challenge by choice" meaning that no one can force you to do any of the activities but they want you to challenge yourself to do something that might be a bit scary.
All of the high ropes activities are so surreal I recommend doing all of them. My most favouritest high ropes activity would be the flying kiwi I would recommend it for everyone who is anyone.
W.Nice camp grounds for all kinds of events. They have it all with good friendly staff. The camp could do with a bit of renovation as everything is starting to feel old and in need of repairs, cleaning and painting.

A.A great place for kids to build confidence in a no pressure environment. Everyone enjoying themselves in the sun. Worth a donation to help keep the buildings in order.

L.Wanganui Intermediate School stayed at Vertical Horizons on Wednesday the 18th to the 20th of October 2017. The experience our children learnt were educational, confidence , most of all fun.
The instructors were awesome. They guided us all on what to do and how to do. Thank you for the best experience in mine and my daughters life.
