Reviews of Serafinas Campervan Park & Gardens
M.
Another amazing stay at Serafina's! This is truly a little piece of paradise.. My kids and I spent five nights here in the summer, and a couple of nights here over Easter, and highly recommend the gardens as a wee sanctuary stop if you're ever in the Far North. Beautiful gardens and native birdsong aside, you will never meet a couple quite like Murray and Serafina, they are so much more than great hosts! Thanks for having us🌺

We visited this secret paradise on the Easter holiday, and it was definitely one of the most unforgettable experiences!
Such a beautiful treasure which hides in Kaitaia and you can't miss it. I would call it a national park as it has all sorts of plants and flowers from different areas. The owners really hospitable and gave us a wonderful tour of this amazing and well designed treasure. It a such a huge area, and I bet it would have different stunning views in varied seasons. Another amazing part is that such a huge area has been looking after so well by owners themselves, you will feel how unbelievable of this, but the stunning view is sooo true. I really respect and am inspired by how hard work had been done and needs to keep going. And it would be a perfect and private place for people who want to have the wedding ceremony, and they have facilities to make this happen.
And it's also a good place for teaching or gets experience in landscaping and horticulture, as the owners have hands-on experience and extensive knowledge in those fields. Would be the best place for the related majors students in Universities or schools to have the field trip. I just can't wait for the next visit!

Beautiful gardens and peaceful place to camp for the night! Serafina and Murray are wonderful hosts and very accommodating! We set up our camper in the back of their huge garden, so was very private and quiet, would definitely recommend

This is a beautiful spacious place to camp for the night. The garden is amazing and full of fresh fruit. Murray and Serafina are incredible hosts and some of the nicest people we met during our 3 week trip around the north island. Highly recommend staying here if you have the chance.
P.S. The also have the sweetest little dog named Lulu. Very friendly!

This is a fantastic holiday park on state highway 1. Their gardens are beautiful and feature a variety of flowers and fruit trees. We stayed here on the way back to Auckland from Cape Reinga. Murray and Serafina (and their dog) were amazing hosts who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We left with full stomachs and a bowl full of fresh fruit from their garden. Highly recommended!

Called into Serafinas on our way to Kaitaia.. Had a very interesting tour around their amazing garden by an enthusiastic host Murray. They also make their own sausages, bacon and cheeses.. We had the Morracon Lamb sausages for dinner tonight and they were very flavoursome.
Doesn't look much from the road at this stage (still a work in progress) but definetly worth a visit.

Exceptional vibe and great hostes. The gardens are breath taking and give the feel of the tropics.
HIGHLY recommended with their close location to Kaitaia and the neighboring townships.
If your looking for tranquility and somewhere to get away from it all, look no further.

Awesome experience. The owner offered fruit from graden, and showed us around this lovely garden. Feel like we are treated as friends more than visitors.
