M.This movie theater is really cool. The decorations make it look like it's from the past, and you really get into the fact you are in a theater. I love the 8nterior of the screen rooms also it looked very classy. The screens are only average size, and for some reason the good reclining chairs were up front, too close to the screen where usually you would not want to sit, so I chose the standard seats which were perfect. I love this cinema, thought it was great! I will most certainly choose this as my go to for films while I am in Tauranga!
R.Fantastic cinema — one of the best I’ve seen in NZ. Can’t speak to the negative reviews; we were in the GMAX theatre and everything from the seats to the screen and sound was fantastic. Cleanliness standard was also high, and the decor unique and luxurious.
J.No lighting on stairs - very dangerous for elderly. Music and talking coming from rear of cinema? From next door? Constant throughout Downton film. Seating comfortable and nice clean foyer. Please sort lighting.
Z.The seats were great loved the way they reclined, even though I'm on the taller side it still felt nice to sit in. The food was great, I loved that the choc tops had different flavors. Definitely would recommend going for anyone in the area
N.Fantastic cinema! Pretty reasonable ticket prices too. Popcorn still wildley expensive like all other cinemas but have some good combo deals.
Sadly a little trashed this time after school holidays. Half the toilets out of order and some of the sinks not working in bathroom. Sad to see first hand the lack of respect people and kids have for places like this
O.United has a nice large space with an overall rather premium experience to it while being a fairly similar price to event. It's also in a fantastic location being close to the centre of bayfair, the food court and it allows you to grab a coffee from Starbucks and browse the nearby stores while you wait for the film to start

J.I’ve been here a few times, staff are always lovely and helpful. Popcorn has always been fresh, service is great, cinema area is massive depending on which cinema you are located. Prices are pretty average for cinemas in this area so I can not complain.
s.Had an amazing night tonight. Went to see The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Great sound, great picture quality. Really comfy chairs and wonderful service.

D.I love this place. We don't go nearly enough to the movies but when we do we really enjoy it. One of the highlights , believe it or not is , is checking out the ladies toilets! Opulent is the word for them. Awesome!

My 1st time in a United Cinema. Love the attention to small detail, from colour, to popcorn containers, to bathrooms, drapes on side of the cinema, to the plush seats. Love that they play some European movies too.
Even the popcorn is way better than the pitty popcorn of the other cinemas around Tauranga.
Wish I could give it an 8 out of 5.

M.Went to see Black Widow. Very old school themed, glamorous as if you were heading to an awards dinner. Lots of marble and bright colours, licensed and can do hot food table service if you like.
Love the positioning of the upstairs seats in the GMax theatre, the screen is right in front of you and unimpeded. I did think that the seats were a little narrow though and while the arm rest holders were useful it made the armrests mostly hard plastic which was hard on the arms. But very nice nonetheless, would go again 😁

S.Flash new complex with state-of-the-art gear it seems. The drapes and lighting hark back to the golden age of cinema.
The quality on the screen was amazing. I don't know resolution they shoot at these days but it was crisp and sharp. The sound was also top-notch. Not just loud but also with a palpable thump to it.
All of the seats are individual lounge chairs with popcorn and drink holders. The theatres also have recliners at the front near the screen.
All up a very well built and presented complex.
Recommended.
m.I came to see Peter rabbit not to long ago with the rest of the family and came across this lovely young lady with blue strands of hair who ripped our tickets. During the busy time I could only imagine how tired she would have been but no matter what she had the most uplifted smile and bubbly personality. sometimes while I was in line I would see her in the corner of my eye doing a little boogie too! I did enjoy the experience and the kids loved the film but a special shout out to the short girl with the blue hair for directing me into the right direction and putting a smile on our faces it was very reassuring.
m.My experience at this Cinema was abit confusing, the service was great BUT, there was no 1 there collecting tickets, so any1 could have walked in there. I paid for a lazyboy seat only to find out that, anyone could sit there whether you paid for a lazyboy seat or not. I ordered loaded fries & was disappointed with that. For the price that you pay for them i expected a bit more for what i got, melted cheese swimming in gravy was not my idea of loaded fries. Other than that i found it to be clean & of course the seats were very comfortable. Staff needs to be trained up or have more experienced staff to do the job
M.It's clean and well maintained and the seats are quite comfortable honestly.
M.The chairs are really uncomfortable. There's no way of resting your head on the head rest - it's way too far back. If you try to slide lower in your seat, then you get poked in the back. So you are completely stuck in one position. I had a sore tail bone for two days. Grrr...
B.It's good and bar menu is open to get some thing and now no hot food only snacks since the hot food menu is open but no chef
L.Great brand-new movie theater. Watch the new bond on the big screen. It was amazing. The seats are super comfy with places to store snacks and drinks. The seats on the balcony in theater 1 are great.

s.I went to see the new Shang chi movie!!! great theatre .I HIGHLY recommend this theatre especially for something simple..... staff are really welcoming and friendly, I remember the boy and the manager on Thursday night which were a pleasure swell as the short lady at the tils, very very welcoming!!1 which we need after lockdown . The food from the chef needs a little work as the chips I got were wayyy too greasy and there was small beard like hair in it. Other than that 5/5 well done!!

M.I was there recently for the Apex Academy Grand opening. The service was phenomenal. The food was great, they have an incredible chef. Facility and theatre was absolutely top notch. The manager Sam was incredibly helpful throughout the event

I came in on the monday night (5th april) and I happily went to go to the new Godzilla vs King kong movie Great movie btw but I wasn't to pleased with the people at the popcorn machines as they just stared at you almost full with judgement as I was telling the man my order, not to mention the unbelievable high prices!!! But despite the front of house people being rude, I believe that there was a short lady who had brown hair with blue stripes. She was the lady on the podium and ripped my tickets and showed me my cinema (she didn't have a name badge) but had an accent, she was incredibly friendly, charismatic and had a sense of humor compared to the emotionless front of house people. Even when I couldn't find the button she was an angel and came all the way down the hall just for me and showed me where everything was, including my actual seat!! When the movie finished I heard someone say her name... I believe it started with p or maybe b??? Miss 'p' was still at the podium with a smile on her face and thanking everyone coming out even though the poor thing must have been tired with it being around 8pm. I stopped and had some small talk with her and she was the kindest lady I've ever met, she even called me 'lovely' which was very comforting.To be honest, Miss 'P' with the bluestripes should be the FACE of the company from my encounter with her, she was comforting, open, friendly and helpful! Everything the company needs espeacilly when the people making popcorn look like they want murder someone.
Long story short, I would come back to United but only if Miss 'P' was there, she seemed like the only employee who actually loved working at a cinema and made my experience at United "The Finest" like your advertised as :)
D.Paid the extra for the easy boy seats. It was a superbly comfortable way to watch the James Bond movie which is quite long.
