Good price, friendly staff at the front counter. However well overdue a big upgrade. We also found the changing rooms and pools were dirtier than usual. Such a pity as this used to be a fantastic spot. Hopefully an upgrade and well overdue maintenance will be done asap, it'd be a shame to lose a beautiful spot over tlc.

These hot pools overlook the beach on Marine Parade. Clean and spacious facilities with affordable pricing. There's a cafe on site if you suffer from caffeine deficiency. Great for a winter soak.. If you get there early enough you can catch the sun rise.

The pools are lovely and big. The main ones are definitely cold first dip, as most pools are. The spa was nice and warm and wasn't too hot. Pool didn't feel oceany nor salty. There are no obvious lockers to store your belongings (I have been informed there may have been lockers but I did not see them) other than open cubies that require a bit of trust and most of the facilities have seen better days. Other than it was a bit pricey for a short experience but if make a day of it I'm sure you will love it.

Who doesn't like an outdoor hot pool with an ocean view?! Get ya togs on and soak it up! Great spot for the family too. Kids love hopping back and forth between the hot and cold pools. Can get busy but has long opening hours if you're flexible on time.

We always have a good time here. The spa is clean and has a good variety of pools including a toddler pool, a bigger kid pool, a lap pool, a large warm pool, and two hot tubs.

Ocean Spa in Napier provides awesome hot water and cold water pools of different sizes and shapes. Lots of space to play if you want or you can go and soak in one of the hotter pools. Fun all year round and for all ages. There were three generations of us visiting and we all had a great time. Highly recommend!!

We have here in Napier a beautiful tourist attraction at the Ocean Spa with hot and cold pools and plenty of life guards on duty to keep everyone safe. Fantastic facilities with a cafe on site for great coffee and food but sadly I do have a big gripe and that is the state of cleanliness of the family change room and the women's changing rooms. The family change room floor was pretty bad with facies on the floor and the change table was unstable and needs replacing asap. In the women's showers the floor is covered in black hairs which just makes you feel dirty even showering. Please I feel that they need to dedicate staff members to make more of an effort to keep these areas clean as it is a great place to have a birthday party or just a get together.

It's really nice, but the temperatures of the kids pools are freezing, and the main pool is a bit hot to stay in during summer, best to go on either really hot day in cool pool, or cooler day and stay in the hot ones
