Varied trails, accessable to town, reasonable elevation. There's no reason why you can't have a good ride here. Make the effort and do a few laps, it's worth it

Great rides! I only had a chance to do the rail trail Dun mountain trail ride to the top. Quite a climb and tops out at 900m but quite achievable for a moderate fitness level and bike skills. Be back next trip to smash up the rear of the park!

Awesome bike trails - enjoyed P51, ivy line, fireball, Te ara Koa, crazy horse and hulk n hogan!! Loved these trails and did them twice on my e-mtb

This is a great trail. There are walking trails on Coppermine and a variety of Mountain Biking trails for all skill levels.

Really impressed. Spent a couple of hours here, and even though it was a weekday, I was amazed by the amount of people using these trails. Also lots of dogs which is really good to see as dogs are not allowed on most trails where I am from. Well established trails with a lot of variety, great views, and so central. Only fault as such is no toilets which isn't normally something I'd point out, but surprising with how much use this place appears to get. Can't wait to revisit Nelson and Codgers in the future.

Great downhills bit need some work on the uphills. Don't do on a really hot day as not much shade due to riding on 4WD.

Awesome tracks, we parked on the brook st Carpark and biked up groom there, some truly amazing trails but stay away from the rooty tracks in wet days, unless you want another level of hard mountain biking. One thing to keep in mind after you go back to your car is that the street is one way ado don't drive out the way you came.

Had a great couple of hours here. The trails are really already to find and well kept. Hired a bike from Gravity in town.

Plenty of fun beginner/intermediate trails at Codgers with a few advanced trails too. Download the trail forks app which allows you to see all the different trail options available as there are many, you can check conditions, also there are photos/videos of most trails so you can see what they are like before to hit them.

Mint bike park very close to town with a good selection of trails. Excellent climb trail to access from as well. Great for a quicker ride if in the area and an hour or 2 to kill.

Nelson boasts some of the best mountain bike terrain in the country. Codgers is just one of many great place to enjoy the thrills of mountain biking, with tracks catering for all ages and ability levels. The tracks are maintained by volunteers and members of the local MTB Club.
