B.
Filling in our day before going out for dinner. Enjoyed watching Dr Strange with the Family. Tuesday movies $13 compared to $17. Seating up top was rather crammy with little leg room, otherwise ok.
A.
Not a bad place to enjoy a movie, however doesn't have the space the larger cinemas have. The chairs don't offer much leg room for us taller people... However the Manager was really helpful and a bubbly person as she helped us a lot so that was great!
G.
The cinema was cosy and had a nice atmosphere but the screen was quite small and the movie was a bit quiet compared with what I’m used to. The worst part was the chairs, although they were fairly comfortable, every time you make a slight movement they squeak really loudly. It was very distracting whenever someone moved and there weren’t even that many people in the room when we went. Also noticed the sound proofing wasn’t good as I could hear people talking/yelling at the bars outside the cinema and also at one point could hear another movie playing in one of the other cinema rooms beside us.
l.
Terrific Tuesday means only $13 per ticket. Comfortable seats and not huge theatres so not overcrowded.
G.
The atmosphere inside is of a nice, cosy, small cinema. But GOD are the chairs squeaky. And not just the ones we got. All of them sound like Kraken has awakened if you move or lean slightly. It really ruins the vibes of a nice, comfortable, chill time, when you are afraid to move for 2.5 hours. And if you do, EVERYONE will know.
K.
If you dont mind asking for our vaccine passes before we purchase the movie ticket & food.
We had to place everything down on the ground to show our passes right before entering through the doors to the theater.
H.
Beautiful cinema… comfy seats and snacks n popcorn reasonably priced
E.
An awesome little cinema! Really lively staff as well, keep it up guys!
B.
Nice little and cosy cinema
M.
Nice small family friendly theatre, clean and popular
E.
Has decent size screens with comfortable seats. Not bad for a local Cinema.
J.
The film was good, but the leg space on the balcony is too tight.
J.
Quirky little cinema great place in town so easy access. Good for if your just wanting to kill some time. Reasonably priced and good times for movies. Staff are really friendly. Unsure on closest parking spaces though.
J.
Nice and clean. Only downside (personally) they changed it from coke to Pepsi!
C.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Facilities were tidy and clean. The cinema itself was clean and tidy with rather comfortable seats. The visual and audio quality were quite good as well
C.
Though small and dated. Very clean and staff were very good
K.
lovely small cinema. you can book online but there is a booking fee so instead we went in a bit earlier to buy our tickets and choose our seats.
T.
Nice.. thats all I can say, cannot expect a multiplex system here but it nice place to watch movie.
B.
Always a good time at Readings Queenstown. Friendly Staff, comfortable cinema.
J.
The best service, the best movies, the best deals... truly a great cinema all round operated by people who obviously have a passion for consistently providing a great movie experience for all, from the concession stand to the screen, on every visit.
E.
Great wee theatre, very comfortable seating and the movie wasn't too loud like many theater's can be. Will be back.
W.
A great little theater.
S.
Good quality screen and sound, loved our movie experience here - comfortable seats too! Well priced in comparison to the other 'chain cinemas'
D.
Always so lovely, the theatre's are awesome.
C.
Located right in the middle of downtown Queenstown. The staff was helpful, and very pleasant. Movie quality and sound were good, seats were average. You can even pick up one of the latest movie posters for only 2$.
A.
Nice enough cinema, but getting a bit tired, and treated that way. Just ticking over.
L.
Comfy seats and friendly staff ensuring COVID regulations are followed.
D.
Friendly staff, very clean cozy awsome only flaw the sound was very loud all considered very good.
A.
Very good place, in the mid of town. Perfect for a cloudy afternoon or a couple night. Cheap place compared to others cinema around NZ !
B.
Good quality service and cheap movie tickets also provides some special price on Tuesday.
m.
Good cinema however there is 20minutes worth of ads prior to the movie starting.
C.
Always good! The kids will concentrate on the movie with no distractions.
G.
Very cosy and friendly staff!! A great choice to break the routine.
C.
Great seating and clean but just to loud. Enjoyed the movie. Would have been awesome if not quite so loud
É.
Lovely place to have some fun with the family and friends
S.
Good cinema, has good shows and great for a day out
E.
Cinema is good, has all of the normal features. Better more comfy chairs needed to get a higher rating though.
A.
They also do a great job and have the most Amazing movies, just recently I watched crazy rich asions and it was a great movie by far my favourite
S.
Amazing place to stay
M.
Bit pricy, and a few too many ads, but there's usually some sort of deal on tickets. Temperature is alright, bit warm in the summer. Food is slightly expensive, but they have to make money somehow.
L.
Very cosy cinema, wasn't too crowded.
J.
A little bit expensive, but it's Queenstown. Also I went to a screening which was closed captions available, but there were none on the screening. Weird. Anyway, it was nice how the locals do advertising on the cinema. :)
J.
The only flicks in town and they always provide the goods ! The candy shop can sometimes close mid movie though so that sucks but they don't mind you running to the local shop in this case
b.
Quiet small theatre, friendly staff. Can get very busy when it's raining.
m.
Very cosy cinema, but it does the job!
L.
Clean and comfortable, overall a nice little cinema.
S.
Great staff and service. Has all the current movies. Has a bar with snacks, candy and non - alcoholic and alcoholic beverages. Cinemas can be booked for functions. Has a very nice VIP cinema with 2 levels of floors. Very comfortable seating with plenty of leg room. Offers 3D and 2D. Has a gaming arcade in the lobby.
M.
Great cinema... Friendly and helpful staff 👍👍👍👍👍
R.
Nice place comfy. The snack bar closses abit early tho, while the last movie is playing so you might wana load up snacks before you get sitted.
k.
Great, esp for school holidays. Morning sessions really quiet. Late opening time.
B.
Fantastic customer service, had some issues settling my daughter & they were very accommodating. Lovely facilities as well.
W.
Lovely little cinema, tucked off a nice street. Screen is a bit small, and the chairs don't have headrests and don't reach very high, but otherwise a nice experience. The attached arcade has powerpoints all over the show, which makes charging devices easy. Good service from the staff too.
W.
Although this theatre had the old school look and feel. The service, staff and quality of the facilities was great.
D.
Theatre quite small, no reclining seats but otherwise fine.
J.
Nice facilities but strange if not obsessive controlling management
D.
Close to everything. Right in town. Only a few screens means less showtimes but that can be scheduled around
A.
Seats are not so great. Everything else is top notch
E.
Pretty, small and homie feeling place. Seats are comfy and on the 1st floor they are proper lazy boy chairs to enjoy. Food options are very limited and pricey.
Screen and sound quality are good but nothing to blow you away.
R.
Nice theatre, great place to hang on a rainy day.
L.
Good place to watch a movie :)
R.
This cinema is ok, but staff are friendly.

Clean and well presented.
Helpful staff but the markup on food and drinks is the usual outrageous amount.
N.
Very small and old. Could probably do with a makeover but apart from that the staff were cool and friendly!
a.
It's very nice place to relax
T.
Fun to see a movie so far from home!

Small cozy old fashion moviee theatre right in the heart of city centre. Attentive staff super friendly and kind. Spit the dummy session is available at this theatre in Wednesday 10.15 where you can take the little one in to enjoy a movie while they can walk around have a sip of milk all they like. It was a great first movie experience for our baby. However, the theatre was a little bit cold we had to wear all our jackets.
C.
Seats are not allocated even for full movies, otherwise great customer service and specials are on Tuesdays

Small cinemas but that is kind of expected. I'm fat by no means but those seats are hard after sitting for long periods.
