W.Great DOC campsite. Clean toilets on site, few fireplaces which were super handy on a cold night. And one pizza owen as well!
Creek near by invites for splash or gold panning for enthusiast prospectors.
Lot of space for bigger RVs and easy access with tow caravans as well. There is just on smaller bridge to cross on the way there but that has 3.5t axle weight limit.
A.Lucky to have perfect weather. Had our cold pan, not sure why but fun anyway! Nice mix of private parks and open areas ☺️
S.Really enjoyed it here. Nice river spots. Sandflies always a problem but worth it. Parking good. . Serious people panning for gold here bit mot much show for their efforts.
D.Beautiful campsite right next to a creek. No sandflies but bees and bumblebees. Toilets are OK but no drinking water available. I extended my stay to simply relax in the hammock at this nice spot

O.Private parking/camping spaces, flushing toilet, water readily available (which says to be boiled). We really enjoyed staying here apart from how we got attacked by mosquitos!!

V.One of the best DOC Camps I have come across. Plenty of spots & right beside a river. Well away from the road (although only 800m) easy road in. Satelite TV worked although limited internet.
L.Just such a stunning spot! Amazing little individual alcoves to back into, and some even have walkways down to the creek. You can sit and bathe in the creek (no soap!). Lots of sandflies (like all the other camp spots). The walk along the creek is easy and beautiful. There are flushing toilets and they're clean. Just a note at night it's a dark walk through the bush to the toilets with with lots of bugs. One of the prettiest camp spots we visited.

J.A really nice DOC camp with individual bays for each campervan making for a private and sheltered camping area but also with a large open space available for groups to camp together. It's the first DOC camp I have been to that has a pizza oven that you can use as part of the facilities. Great walking track up the river but no phone signal unless you walk back to the main road
A.Very beautifully set out place Great beach trees Water on ( non drinkable ) Flushing toilets Pizza oven Barbecues Rubbish bins. Set right next to the river, Can find a few colours just up from the camp in the river on the parpa bottom , Recommend it Remember the bug spray

N.We.loved this spot. So peaceful and when we woke up there were some locals who just into their gear to look for gold in the river. It's worth stopping if you have a doc camp pass. Toilets are kept well and are flushing
T.Wasn’t too many sandflys, but it could have been the weather. I didn’t find any gold in about 10pans. Didn’t seem like the type of ground to have any gold, was hoping to set up my sluice, but the rocks were huge, I didn’t feel like trying to remove any.
j.one of the nicest places around. basic campground but thats all you need. private spots. good value.

J.Quiet and peaceful. Good place for primary school age kids to play in a small creek, pre schoolers would have to be watched well. Toilets clean. Not many sand flies!!

I.Beautiful place which is very remote and peaceful. Has toilet facilities, the road down is very rough but adds to the natural scenery.
