ZaberriWorld, IMHO is a world-class tourist attraction for tourists and Kiwis alike. I was amazed at the shear size of the operation and the skill with which they operated it. The fruit is export quality for a fraction of the price of the supermarkets- honestly! And YOU and your tribe get the pleasure of picking them AND eating to your heart’s content! To be truthful, I stopped eating after 15 and then just piled them into our bucket. Fabulous eating area, parking space, cafes for ice cream and coffee and a park/playground area for the children. You can literally make a day of it! Five dollars admission- isn’t exorbitant and neither is the price for the fruit! Highly recommended- 10 STARS!!

We came by to do some strawberry picking. The place wasn't too difficult to find. They have a large parking area so it wasn't too hard to find parking. It also had an alternative exit making leaving quite easy. We went to the ticketing area by the strawberry field entrance to grab tickets and a bucket. The bucket doesn't look very big until you realise how many strawberries it can fit. It was an interesting place to spend an afternoon, picking and snacking on strawberries. There wasn't much shade on the fields themselves but it was lined with trees. They also had other berries for picking but the raspberries were out when we went. There is also a large playground for kids which requires a separate ticket for entry. It looked quite interesting and also had other activities. The other building housed a cafe to grab some fresh fruit ice cream. It would have been nicer with someplace to eat or rest after coming from the fields but it was a fun experience.

Lovely and sweet strawberries. Not the cheapest in town but well worth the quality - plump, big and sweet. It's more an experience rather than just a standard PYO. There is also a kids adventure course. A real nice day out for the family, the kids absolutely enjoyed it. They have other berries to add on some selected days. Love it ♥️!

Pretty good picking experience! There is an ice cream and coffee cafe too. Not a lot of seating space outside though. There's a cool playground for the kids too. Could easily spend a couple hours here!

Great day out! Lots of activities available other than strawberry picking like bouncy castle etc. Didn't expect March would be good but still got bucketfuls. I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars because it's annoying how there's a different queue for each activity: strawberry picking /ice cream/ bouncy castle /coffee etc. Ended up standing in 3 queues for no reason and had to queue up again. Just make them all the same or have clear signage. Otherwise this place is awesome!!

It's a nice place to bring your family and enjoying the PYO fun together. Finding good strawberries like a treasur hunt, need some patients. Recommending to visit before the mid of February since we found less berries could be picked over there and we could barely fill the 3kg bucket.

Huge parking area, friendly staff, yummy strawberries and ice cream. PYO buckets are $24 for 3kg approx. An excellent place to keep kids busy and enjoy a couple of hours or berry picking.

What a fun experience!!! Was so amazed at how sweet the strawberries were and how much we could fit in the bucket. Place has toilet, tables and sufficient parking. Went there on a Friday around lunchtime as well so was a bit hot but took us around 45mins to fill the buckets.

Loved it! Great place to visit especially with kids. Plenty of open spaces and parking. The place is open usually between 9 am - 4 pm, but do check their FB page for timings or give them a call to double check. The berries were good, we picked both raspberry and strawberry 🍓 and were not disappointed. Of course, it also depends what time of the season you get to go, but they do have large fields spread out in different plots so they don't normally run out. They also offer a bouncy castle, yummy ice-creams and a tractor train ride. Will surely go again next year 👍🏼😊

Excellent strawberry and raspberry farm. Staff is immensely friendly esp the train driver. You can go around the farm in train and get down at various points to pick up fruit. Later can treat yo self with delicious ice cream. Bful place and even better fruit.

Easy pickings at the Strawberry farm, pick at your own pace. Plenty of parking available. There's a tractor ride around the farm to keep the young ones entertained. After picking you can purchase a helping of fresh fruit ice cream, smoothie or coffee from the on-site cafe booth. It does get a little dusty in dry conditions, so don't bring your best shoes unless you're willing to give em a good clean.

Went there today, a beautiful place to take the kids and have fun. Kids enjoy it alot. Have to go through two patch for picking up a small one and the other for big ones.

Strawberry🍓 Season Oct- Early March Visited today It was really a Great experience, Went at 12:30pm not too crowded, pre booked Person + bucket = $29 dollars Additional person = $5 Dollars Once you check in that gave you one white bucket and you wait for 🚂🚋🚃🚋🚃🚋🚃 Train body attached with tractor engine They take you to the strawberry picking area And once you finish you can take the same train to return where you started And Tried all the milkshakes flavours and smoothies and ice creams Everything was amazing taste except Smoothies (Taste was not as expected) Must try Milkshakes (Choc, Straw, lime, spearmint) pics attached Worth for money and time

It is a farm that allows pick-your-own experience. Although it is open to public for guests, the exterior and interior do not look extremely fancy or attractive like a park. Nevertheless, there was no let-down in experience. The staffs at the counter, cafe, and at the farm are all friendly to greet visitors and very helpful. We rode the train to tour the farm, and collected a bucket of strawberries. We went there on a windy day, there is no shade. I imagined it is not great during an unfortunate on a rainy day… The area was clean, tidy, not hazardous, and has fresh air. A great getaway from the city for a one-hour family-friendly experience.

It was a very warm day. I decided to take my family to get some strawberries and some ice creams. The place was full of people. I did not realized there were so many people. Really enjoyed the mixed berries smoothly in a hot weather like today. However, I felt unsafe as some people not wearing masks. Hardly anyone follow 1 metre distancing as shown on photos. Quickly got my ice creams and smoothies and left.

Zaberri was an awesome experience! Super fresh and fun to pick your own bucket of berries, relatively cheap and great ice cream afterwards! Was very hot on the day and there was no drinking water provided, so take a big drink bottle. Great tasting strawberries with lots of different rows to walk down and find berries. $5 entrance fee and $27 for a bucket is a good deal for a few hours of fun!

As a family, this was our first visit to a strawberry farm & we were not dissapointed. Value for Money. Loads of Strawberries. $24 a bucket. Kids Play Area. $15 per ticket. Loads of Jumping Castles. Loads of Parking. Ca be dusty for those with sinus issues. Can get busy. Be patient waiting for Ice Cream! Make sure kids have sun lotion & a cap. Personal bags & containers prohibited. Shoes must be worn at all times. Take water with you as it gets hot choosing and picking stawberries. Free train ride to site & back. Coffee, Food, Ice Cream to buy Onsite. Place to sit and eat. Did strawberry picking. I would highly recommend this activity - fun for families, couples and/or friends. You get to keep and take home the bucket of strawberries.

Customers service was great so welcoming and these Strawberries were better than another place we have visited and tasted so juicy and delicious 😊 Kids had fun playing on the bouncy castle after picking Strawberries and having tasty ice cream & milkshakes. Highly recommended for everybody 😊 Thank Zaberriworld team who worked 3/4/22 we very much enjoyed our day out here 😁

A wonderful spot for a family outing, especially with young children. Huge parking area, toilets and playgrounds. PYO strawberries. Cafe with fresh ice cream.

Big place. Fair bit to walk but have the 'train' although it was a bit slow and one part was quite dusty and stinky from the tractor. The berries we picked were ending of season in march they were odd size big small etc but that's totally fine with me. We made sure we picked the deep red berries despite the shape or size and they were great! So sweet and flavorful. Much more selection compared to clevedon picking place I last went to. Good value for money I think too. Would be cook to be able to pick half size though. Will try next season for raspberries as we were too late!

I would highly recommend we love visiting this place because we all had such great time plugging sweet juicy strawberries there are no entry fees just pay for whatever strawberry you plug and it's worth visiting.

Great place to take the kids to experience one of the best strawberry farms in New Zealand. These strawberries are HUGE,JUICY and very SWEET!! Me and my kids loved every minute and every single strawberry 🍓 we ate straight from the vine. As I said early,the strawberries here are MASSIVE and sweet!!you could literally full a standard strawberry chip from countdown wit only 4 Biggies from Zaberri. TIP:constantly Eat as you go,and don't settle on the one row,look hard and be very picky with which strawberries you decide to take home,cozz if you look hard enough. You will unlock the monsters hidden in the bunch. Plenty of free parking,the price is a little steep.

Great place for families, strawberry picking was fun but need to get in really early as pickings become harder to find especially the nice big juicy ones. We got there around 10.30 am and there wasn't any large strawberries for picking. Ice creams were yummy.

Took my daughter today and we were the last lot to gather from a section that had been pretty well picked. It looks as though the next patch will be available soon with better fruit to choose from! The raspberries and blackberries were unavailable to pick as they have new crop coming through so you will need to wait for another month or so... fruit ice creams were lovely and kids area to play in was fantastic!

The perfect summer activity...picking berries and finishing with a "train ride" and eating ice-cream. Great for families. Only thing I wish I knew beforehand was that blackberry and raspberry picking only happens on certain days and you need to arrive before 9 am.

Kids enjoyed the tour ride. For the inflatables, our 3 years old was too big for the small one and too small for the big one. The medium size inflatable for perfect but for birthday parties only. The bucket for berries seem expensive but we did get a decent bucketful of berries.

Fantastic place for the family. Enjoyed picking strawberries with the kids and thereafter had fun with the kids at the playground which was is why no 5 stars here. Paid to enter which gave us a yellow band then when my kids wanted to play on one of the rides was told that we needed another grey band. Unfortunately felt that this place was then ripping us off.

We had the best experience yesterday. The kids really enjoyed it a lot. It was quiet so they could have the inflatables all to themselves. The strawberries are of good quality and they taste amazing. Really friendly staff too!

Place has grown a lot since I was last there. Multiple activities at the place rather than just strawberry picking. There is ice cream, smoothies, pre picked/frozen. They have a train for the kids (and big kids) to ride. They also had multiple other activities like slides set up and Santa during Christmas. Can be a big day out

Was great for something local and a day out with the kids. The strawberries straight from the trees are delicious! I would also recommend the passion fruit sorbet on a waffle cone. Haven't tried something that flavourful in a long time! Will definitely be going back

Awesome day out with kids. Strawberry fields very patchy mostly picked early Jan but we still got a lovely bucket. Fun activities for children train, bouncy castle and wipe out machine, although everything costs money individually so be prepared 🤑 Ice-cream was delish

Best place for family bonding or just looking for a new experience. Quite a different experience compared to buying strawberries in the supermarket. I suggest to use a pair of old shoes or sneakers due to the shoes most likely getting dirty. Its estimated that getting the full experience will take you to 2-3 hours.

Straw-mazing experience! Wonderful place to pick strawberries with the family. Staff are friendly and helpful and the picking is elevated to your waist, makes for easy picking compared to if it was on the ground. Picking comes with a bucket for you to take home and the quality of the strawberries are good! Definitely a good visit for spending time with family.

Our family loves coming here for an after school ice cream. We love that they have gluten free cones and dairy free sorbet as well. The staff here are so friendly and (in addition to the ice cream) are big reason we love comping back. The bouncing area for the kids is super fun. They have a big bouncy maze for older kids (over 5) and a little bouncy area for toddlers (under 5). My kids could honestly spend all day here riding the train, picking berries, bouncing, and eating ice cream. They always provide a bunch of shaded seating areas to rest and enjoy the day.

Just incredible. You can PYO strawberries - yum! The bucket is 3kg, and you can eat while picking 👌🏼 They also have fresh strawberries, berry ice cream and smoothies. It’s a great place for families with kids.

We had a fun trip here with the family on a hot Saturday afternoon. Definitely would recommend bringing hats, sunscreen and water bottles. Highlights for the kids were the playground, tractor/train ride and real fruit ice cream. The strawberries were small, probably because we came late in the season - still very tasty. The staff were friendly and helpful, showing us how to look for the strawberries in the second field where they are somewhat hidden. Most importantly, they didn't discriminate, which meant our family group could come here rather than going somewhere else. Thanks.

Sweet berries.Kids ride could be cheaper or need to add more rides. To prevent dust during a windy day inside the farm, the pathways could be covered with Hays or some other solution could be implemented. Number of toilets are not enough for the crowd gathering there. Also provide drinking water tap inside kids play area.

For those who seeking the reviews to find out there’s any strawberries left or not I should say yes there’s heaps of them left But no the very big ones and also is good to know a huge part of the field had strawberries with the black stain on them, still heaps there for you to PYO. The road is not buggy friendly but still you can resist all those bumps… Bouncy castles and play area is lots of fun for lil ones and when it comes to ice cream and milkshakes I’m speechless… so yummy. Overall we enjoyed our day here

Really loved the experience. We picked strawberries which were very sweet and ripe. The farm itself is quite big, so you can pick as many as you want. A bucket will cost 24$ which I think is worth it.

I had an amazing time last Wednesday!! Picking strawberries is surprisingly calming and therapeutic. The lovely lady that served us at the store front was so nice and kind it made the experience even better!! She is an asset to the company so treat her well! We will be back for sure!!

I love this place. Had a bit of miscommunication on the phone with the lady when I asked if it’s okay to bring my puppy in the farm to pick berries with me. She said yes but when I came, they said i have to leave him outside around the counter area. I got a bit upset since my dog is so tiny and I brought him in other berries farms with me in the past too (always ask for the farm permission beforehand). But well since this place has the policy of no animals inside the farm, I obviously ought to follow it. However, there were 2 very kind, nice and friendly guys that work at the farm looked after my puppy for me. All the staffs in here are so nice and friendly. They have strawberries, blackberries, raspberries for you to PYO berries. Very reasonable prices per kg. They also have a playground area for kids. It was such a fun experience and the berries here are so juicy, sweet and yummy. You definitely have to try the freshly made berries ice creams as well because it is just so good. Zaberriworld is a very great place for you to spend a day out with your family, friends or partner. Very peaceful, heaps of berries to pick, delicious ice creams, and such beautiful view at the farm. Highly recommend !

So popular for the strawberry picking farm, while too many people crowded in the field when the lockdown red warning, be prepared to take the good protection with your young kids, and avoid to come during the summer noon time, really too hot .

Great opportunity of taking the city out of a person. It was fun and has a park for the kids. They have fresh fruit icecream that's delicious the smoothies could do with a bit of pear or icecream for sweetness

Huge farm, lots of things to do with kids like tractor train, strawberry picking, playground but too hot so we didn't go (shaded one would have been good), ice cream and other eating Options were good. Some more seating arrangement would have been good. We parked ourselves on grass under the tree shade opposite the farm (on the toilet side). Staff was very friendly and ample parking. Not too crowded so good experience. The only reason for a 4 rating is the strawberry size was very small. We went on 27th March which could be the end of season or may be all the big ones were gone in the morning, as we reached at 12ish. However the strawberries were very sweet which was great. Advise to pick up a bit firm ones as ripe and red may become soft and split once home. A friend went 3weeks before and found big ones. I would also suggest the pricing to be more reasonable. If we buy a bucket then atleast one persons entry fee of 5 dollars should be inclusive of the that.

Nice strawberry picking experience. However it would be nice If we can pick the raspberry from the same entrance ticket. Paying separately for the items not an issue but what two entrance tickets?

Great school holiday idea - take the kids out to pick strawberries! Realistically we spent about 45mins picking in total - so wasn't a long drawn out affair, but plenty of strawberries that were perfectly ripe! Be aware, if you're also looking to pick raspberries, this is only available on Tuesdays. Great service, friendly and helpful staff - good set up for kids with bouncy castles and play areas.

Great place, great berry. Just one more words, it sometimes depends on your luck (depends on which area opens, there are several types of strawberry plant, some are the best, some just so so). The first time I went, the strawberry is really good, 2nd time I could say confidently it is the world best, however the 3rd time, they only allow visitors to PYO within a small area where did not grow many strawberry and some plant were dying. Quite disappointing for the 3rd time. I will definitely go again, wish I have better luck next time.

A great place to pick your own Strawberries, also try variety of delicious Ice Cream and Milkshakes. The place also offers a range of different attractions for kids ranging from bouncy castles to giant inflatable balls. An overall fun experience for all ages, a must visit

Great location, easy to get to and looks of strawberries to be picked for everyone. The milkshakes were a little disappointing as they tasted a bit artificial compared to the fresher tasting ones you get from the farm by mangere.

Brilliant idea. Lovely train ride to place where you pick berries, then train ride back to where you can buy food. I had mixed berry icecream and daughter had mango passionfruit sorbet. We both loved it. Will be going there again. Only suggestion is if they could have a few seats to wait for train at picking ground as I have Trouble standing for long periods of time. I ended up sitting on a log.

Gets pretty crowded during the school holidays and weekends. More than a pyo strawberry it’s a play center for kids. I think the main attraction was the play train. It was really hard for us to find parking. Given there were so many visitors there were barely any strawberries to pick. It took us nearly a hour to fill a small bucket. If your intentions are to pick strawberries I highly recommend you to go somewhere else.

Great experience. We had one bucket for myself and partner. We filled that bucket within 45mins at a 'take your time' pace. The bucket holds a lot of strawberries between two people. The amount would fill numerous punnets of strawberries. The price we paid is far cheaper than buying the equivalent at a supermarket. We used the excess to give some to friends and family and baked them into a cake. Finished the pick off with a tasty fruit ice cream

Peaceful place. Ample of parking. Although we could not do the picking as we were late. But the smoothies n ice cream we had were so so fresh.

Great experience, kids loved it! Best to go early morning, gets so packed midday even though it was a Sunday. Free fun train/tractor ride. Yummy ice creams and milk shakes. Very friendly and helpful staff all round. Was sad to find the zorb and and bungee trampoline are out of order but we got a refund. Definitely recommend for the whole family💕

The kids loved it. The place is amazingly clean and tidy for such big farm. The facilities were also very clean and well maintained. They have a security guard at the entrance and exit. No mask, no entrance. Their PYO strawberries and raspberries was VERY efficient and easy. Simply prepay for a bucket/ticket and enter their strawberry field. We'll definitely be back for the train rides!

Had a family day out here with my 4 boys (7 years and under) myself and hubby, what a blast we all had together! I can’t speak highly enough of how we all thoroughly enjoyed our time. We started with the absolutely delicious PYO Strawberries. Considering it’s nearing the end of the season the berries were in abundance! It was a typical Auckland day, rain, shine, bit of wind. Good thing the strawberries are under cover. It was also very quiet. Only a hand full of other families were with us there on Saturday. It was a great way to show my children exactly where strawberries come from and how they are produced. It makes them extra sweeter! After the PYO we enjoyed a refreshing milkshake each. Hands down one of the best milkshakes I have ever tasted! They can make them thicker too if you request. Love me a good thick shake. The boys couldn’t wait to jump on the inflatable obstacle course. There we spent a good chunk of our time. We snacked on our pre-packed goodies under the shaded siting areas. We ended our day on the train/tractor ride. This was a highlight to sight see around the farm (try spot the bunnies hopping around). Great way to get outdoors and spend quality time with loved ones. Me and my family went strawberry picking here. Here are the best things about Zaberri: • They have a lot of parking. Parking is often a very big problem. But here at Zaberri there's so much space, you don't even need to worry! •.The strawberries are red and really big. Red and ripe plus enormous! Yum. • Cheap! 30 per bucket, and you can go in and eat as many strawberries as ever! So is you are ever craving some strawberries, come here!

Congratulations to this innovative company who have made ho hum fruit picking into a family experience. A train, bouncy castle, play area, real fruit ice creams,milk shakes etc all on top of the raision d'etre, the strawberries. Good carparking, efficient and very pleasant staff who have processing big numbers down to a fine art. Highly recommended.

Great strawberries, pick your own, ice creams. Also they have raspberries, blackberries and blueberries. Loads of parking. Be prepared to walk quite a way for the fields and no shade. No space for prams down Isles so carry the baby in... There are some portacom toilets available and seating area for after with shades.

Went raspberry and strawberry picking here over the weekend. What a great place! It was easy to get to and the fruit here tastes so good! Strawberries and raspberries both excellent quality straight of the vine and although they were a little busy there was plenty of fruit to be picked and eaten! There is also plenty of parking here as well as a shop selling drinks and fruit icecreams. Also plenty of shaded areas to sit and there is a little cart that goes round driving you to the raspberry and strawberry fields and back to the main entrance.

Got loads of strawberries at the end of march. You have to buy a 3kg bucket ($25ish) but we filled it and our faces rather quick. Lots of fresh and still ripening berries.

Amazing experience. Today 17Jan21, we got really sweet and good sized strawberries. It's $5 entry per adult with full freedom of eating strawberries inside farm and you can take strawberries with you at $7 per kg.

Neat place that was opened throughout summer break. $24 per bucket. $5 per adult over 12. Free under 12. Bring old clothes as it can get quite dusty. Parking at the grass fields watchout for potholes. Limited shaded spots so make sure you have a good hat and plenty of sunblock on.

Had the perfect weather for strawberry picking. The strawberries were mostly decent size and some were really big. Customer service was great, the guy gave us extra plastic bags to separate the strawberries. Love the farm itself. Very nice for photo op :) The ice cream was also nice. Tried strawberry and mixed berries. Highly recommended. Visit with your family, even kids. They have that outdoor inflatables that kids would enjoy for sure!

It was huge field of Class and Quality Strawberry (PYO ) Kumeu .We enjoyed. Big enjoyment for children being good playing facilities for them. Great Ice Cream outlet too

Nice place to PYO strawberries. Went their after seeing the FB post that raspberry and blackberry picking is available. Unfortunately, it was not available for picking. We traveled from Auckland city almost 28kms to their farm. They also charge $5 per kid for the inflatable play experience, not included in the PYO charges ($25 per bucket plus $5 for entry) But overall good experience.

Nice spot for strawberry picking. We went in December first week. Strawberries were too good, but we did not find any good raspberries. Rates are fair. Entry fee-$10 per person. Staffs are also welcoming.

Great place for the kids to run around they have a couple of awesome bouncy castles, and a train ride. Could do with more seating and picnic tables once your inside but overall good cheap day out for the kids :)

Had a great experience today at Zaberri as a family with two young kids. Polite and on-to-it young staff doing traffic control and vaccination certificate check. Train ride is a plus for the kids and staff even offered to take family photo for us. Lots of people but because of good traffic control doesn't feel cramped at all. Well organized, doesn't need to wait long at all at the various lines (PYO entry, ordering ice cream, and picking up order). Abit disappointed that the blackberries and raspberries PYO is not open today, and that the inflatables are not open for entry (kids a bit disappointed because they can SEE them inflated but not allowed to play on it). However due to the great hospitality and experience we give 5 stars.:)

This place is a great place to take the kids, They also have some of the best strawberries. Reccomend taking your family here for a real fruit icecream.

Took the family to Zaberriworld and saw all the awesome fun things for kids. Next time we'll head out earlier so the kids can play for longer. The strawberries were so fresh and sweet. For a little entry fee all you can eat. I never thought you can get sick of strawberries.

Fun fun amazing place to take your kids to, family and friends for a catch up and relaxing and I love that they have a bouncy castle for kids to play in🥰 and the ice cream was so delicious😋😋. I can't wait to go there again in two weeks time... don't let me forget they staff where nice and friendly.

The best strawberry farm I've ever visited. I love this place not only because their big juicy red strawberries, but also their friendly customer service. Even though it's very busy the workers always greet us with a smile and ask about our day. The weighing and cafe order go quickly, very efficient, we don't have to wait for long. I've been here many times, never got disappointed.

Yummy sweet Strawberrys but to be honest very expensive its a same they don't offer smaller containers only one big container which was ok for the price but expensive having to pay onto per person just to enter the field as most of ours went rotten and the sheep ate them they weren't the biggest strawberrys but there was plenty to pick so was a great experience for the kids

We loved it and so did my 3 year old! Was lots of fun and so many yummy beautiful red strawberries!! A bit more shade would be nice for the sunny days :)

We visited pre covid and it was rustic with reasonablely priced Berry picking options. Now post Covid it has new food and ice cream buildings. The cost to pick berries is very high now post covid it was 25 for a bucket you could fill with strawberries, plus 5 per person entry. Punnets for raspberries and blackberries were higher priced. The blackberries have insects so I do not recommend paying for this option with kids as they won't really know to look for signs of infested fruit also the workers didn't point this fact out when they really could have. That was disappointing when we got home. Overall it is a bit pricy for berries and not great value for the 1.5 hr entertainment with 3 kids.

Good spot to go with kids or even anybody. Its fun. We picked strawberries $5 for 2 adults entry plus 4L bucket to fill. Tip-sit at a spot and look under the leaves so you can see big ripe 🍓 as everyone on rush to pick all good strawberry first, people often keep walking and looking for strawberry. But you can find nearly 10 at one spot.😊😊

Fabulous visit today. Staff very helpful my two coeliac grandsons were so happy with their gluten free ice creams. Stawberry picking is only the half of it, but they are the very best tasting by the way There is the best childrens playground in Auckland, a train ride and coffee and ice cream cafe on site. A fab day out for all the family and the kids will be begging you to go back. Big tip come early open from 9 at the weekends. Its chocker by midday

Strawberry picking starts in Jan, so we were a little disappointed that we couldn’t pick our own berries. But it was our own fault for not checking! Yummy strawberry/raspberry/blueberry/mixed ice creams 😋

I went to Zaberri on Christmas Eve and there weren't many strawberries left and they weren't ripe. There were lots of people though and I liked the strawberry smoothie. Plenty of parking and shade.

Couldn’t find detailed info for raspberry & blackberry PYO on their website and Facebook. Called in to check. Just FYI before you go. Raspberry and Blackberry PYO only open on Tue. Thur. & Sun. Limited supply, usually sold out before 10am. So go earlier if that’s what you want. Entry fee is $7, combined entry fee with strawberry PYO is $10. $15 for 600g, if I didn’t get it wrong, as their phone line was not stable. Hope it helps ;)

Awesome place for strawberry picking, slightly expensive as compared to other strawberry picking farms but their strawberries were so good perhaps they used some special seeds 😁 Highly recommended for families cause they have some joy rides there to keep your kids busy.

Nice location. Although this place requires a $5 entry. The quality of the plantation and the strawberries are excellent. The strawberries are very red and sweet. There were not many mouldy strawberries as well, so the staffs there might be maintain the place quite well. Will come again before the season ends.

Amazing as always!! The berries are so sweet and tasty and the quality is awesome. I picked 4 kg in about 20 minutes. Your staff are always so helpful. I did feel bad for the girl on the entry having a lady argue about entry. She handled herself well and carried on with a smile. The ice cream was so tasty. Can't wait to come back!

Great place for a family time. The berries are sweet, the coffee was great and the ice-cream was delicious. It could be a tad overcrowded during the weekend but still there were a plenty of places to relax. They also have a nice and spacious playground for the kids.

WOW!! What an amazing farm. I thought strawberry season was over but after visiting this farm, I could not believe the quality of the fruit. The strawberries and Raspberries were massive and SOOOO sweet. Good Job ZaberriWorld for maintaining your plants and your farm so well. PYO Raspberries was also 10/10. Highly recommended.

Great day out, we probably came a little too late in the afternoon and there wasn't so many ripe strawberries left for picking. Next time I would definitely arrive earlier. The kids had so much fun hunting for berries and still came home with over 2kg and had so much fun on the inflatables.

$5 real fruit ice creams, $5 entry into the inflatable play ground (half price in the school holidays). The manager is super friendly, down to earth and made the kids day. Highly recommend for entertainment for the kiddies. If you’re going in the afternoon, take a hat or a large umbrella for shade. Socks are a must!!! No socks, no playground.

A summer fun Strawberries picking activities, reasonable priced.

Enjoyed our strawberry picking experience in Zaberri. The strawberries were nice and plump and the place was neat and not too crowded. The ice cream was delicious. I just hope that they would set up more places to lounge next time as there are only a few spots with shade to sit on. The sun was very intense this afternoon and would’ve appreciated some shade near the ice cream pick up area. We had to stay under the blazing sun whilst we waited for our ice cream. Other than that, highly recommended!

We weren't expecting anything, saw the sign for real fruit ice cream so pulled in. Wow! Bouncy castle adventure course, zorbs and pick your own strawberries. We had such a great time, it was a wonderful unexpected stop. Thank you!

Great experience and reasonable price. Really friendly staff on the till, they really made it. $5 per person and under 12s free is pretty good. 7.50 per kilo seems standard. The cart to ferry is to and from the picking fields was a nice touch. It was busy. And the bouncy obstacle course was booked out for a party which was really disappointing.

We came strawberry picking here for the first time and what an awesome experience. The strawberries were abundant and gorgeous! Such a great, well thought out set up, great with the inflatable's for the kids too. We'll be back!

There were really big fields to pick strawberries from. It's quiet a long walk from the entrance and the pathway is a bit rocky, so wear good shoes (gumboots if it's raining). They have great strawberries that were a decent size even for the end of the summer PYO season. Reasonable price and it's perfect that there's a bouncy castle for kids set up during summer. We loved spending time here.

Nice fruit and icecream. But charge 50cents for a ice cream paper cup when my daughter's icecream melting and dripping. I have paid entrance and spend almost $60 for the fruit and paid four large icecream. Then need to pay extra 50 cents just for a cup.

We went to Zaberri on their pick fpr xharity day, all proceeds to support The Canver Society. The kids especially loved the inflatable onstacle course and the real fruit icecream, and we all loved the beautiful big juicy strawberries. Staff were friendly and helpful.

These guys have blow up trampolines setup on good weather days. They also serve tasty berry ice cream. If you dont have any plans and want to treat yourself and the little ones, this place is great.

Entry fee is 10NZD per person but you can eat as much as you can soft and great quality cherries. And if I remember correctly, there is no information about time limit. Zaberriworld opens quite earlier than the other strawberry farm that they allow guests to pick your own strawberry after Xmas until end of Jan.

Very nice day out. Just a bit disappointed that you need to pay $5 entry and then you have to pay again for what you have picked. But I suppose it is to cover the cost if you get greedy pickers. Other than that it was a nice day out with our little granddaughter.

Went there to try their ice-cream yesterday and it was absolutely wonderful! The girl serving/making the ice-cream was extremely kind and we cannot wait to come back for picking strawberries! FYI - I met the owners and they are very nice people as well, and they informed me that they start pick your own strawberries on Boxing Day, i.e - 26th December. So we'll definitely be back!

Me and my 4 years old had fabulous time there. The P. Y. O is a fun activity with kids and strawberries were so SWEET and best real fruit ice-cream out in west and everything in good reasonable price. BESIDES the bouncy castle add more attraction activity for kiddies. Must come with kiddies for a fun day.

Very easy to pick and always my first choice of PYO

Did not get a chance to pick berries as we only stopped by the small stall located outside. However, the berries that we bought were super fresh and juicy, the ice cream was also a refreshing treat on a hot day. The staff there were all wonderfully friendly.

Drove past this place with my family today. I had no idea they reopened! Although their PYO was closed we decided to stop by for some ice cream. The lady making the ice-cream was super sweet and honestly served the best strawberry ice creams! Will definitely be back with the kids again!!

Went here for pick your own last year and it was probably one of the best farms in the west to do pick your own. Their staff members were friendly, very helpful and they were very cheap. I went again but unfortunately they open after christmas but i tried their ice-cream! Absolutely delicious! You can see there is construction going on currently and I asked the staff. they said it was something for PYO. I look forward to coming back and seeing all the things you have to offer!!

Went to this strawberry farm during the last week of december 2018 and strawberries were all ripened to perfection, ready to be picked. Those were totally yum. Chose this place out of many because it had a play area with bouncers for kids at $4 extra per kid. The cost of entry was $7.50 per adult with the first kilo free of charge. Kids go free. The only negative is that the sand and dirt in the parking area is blown all over when its windy and dry. It could be really unpleasant and troublesome for small kids(cough,sneeze etc). All in all a great experience.

Had an awesome time there. A great family outing. The inflatable maze was a winner too. Just wish the cabin to pay in was less cluttered or where lines to que up as it got very crowded

Prefect strawberry PYO farm in western Auckland. Cheap entrance & price for sweet fruits! Ps: come before the rainy days

great ice creams really fresh cones and very generous serving, nice to sit in the shade on a hot day and enjoy a treat and to watch the kids enjoy playing on the inflatable course.

Great for early and late strawberry picking. However, the road and path need some work done! Dust everywhere if walk on them.

Came here in between a day out with work colleagues, and the ice-cream as well as the customer service was excellent! Would love to come here with family another time as well when they start PYO.

I've been a local here since they have opened their ice-cream place! The korean lady behind the counter is very good with what she does and provides excellent service!
