J.Beautifully presented store with an impressive array of antique and collectable treasures.
Chris the owner was a very helpful and genuinely friendly “people person”.
Was interested in what I was collecting and not just looking for a sale (I did purchase two lovely vases which I am very happy with).
Will definitely visit again next time I’m in Rotorua.
I have visited a lot of antique stores throughout NZ over a 30 year period and this would easily be in the top 3.
The only downside would be me not being a millionaire so I could buy half the store!
p.Stumbled across this gem of a shop and so glad we did! A vast treasure house of history, distilled in an amazing variety of items. The glass and crystal ware of particular note and Chris conveyed his genuine love of the genre, sharing the stories of many pieces with us unselfishly.
M.Upon arrival, Chris the shop owner was sitting out the front and greeted us warmly. I was so glad to see that boutique stores have survived COVID related international tourism decline.
The store looked well stocked with treasures to discover and he had a 20% off sale starting that day. Chris didn't mind if I took some photographs of his stock to send to friends and post online as immediately I saw items that would be appealing to friends. As time was limited, I told him what I was interested in finding and he took me straight to what he had. He had a rare Atlas china figurine I've only seen online, it was in perfect condition and I couldn't believe my luck.
Understandably Chris doesn't post internationally. I suppose that the fragile nature of the items prohibits postage without the risk of loss.
I will definitely visit again when in NZ next time hoping to have as much good luck at finding another rare and special find at Rotorua Antiques and Collectables. I'm thinking that perhaps I should have kept this gem of a store to myself.
S.I was excited to see the adorable sign when walking to lunch at Capers. After lunch we popped back, I could have bought lots and lots! Loved the layout and everything so lovely. Awesome section of Crown Lynn, which is my thing. Lovely owner and good prices. Will always stop when I head to Rotovegas!!!
J.I go for a walk everyday in my lunch hour and what an amazing collection of memorabilia you have in your new premises on Eruera Street, Rotorua. Definitely worth a visit and Chris is so friendly and helpful. Love my new purchase.

H.What a wonderful gem of a shop! Full of amazing antiques, more than the eye can see, we could have stayed there for hours. The cherry on the cake really was the wonderful owner though. Chris you were a total delight. We'll be back for sure...for more goodies :)
J.Amazing shop full of interesting collectables plus has a friendly owner. So much to see of interest and definitely need a good hour to browse. We look forward to returning to Rotorua one day and to visiting Chris's new shop after he shifts and I dare say he will have even more great items to view.
S.Whenever I am in Rotorua I always love to visit this shop. There is always some special item to tempt you and Chris is so helpful, knowledgeable and charming you often find more than you bargained for and wonder how did you not have this item in your collection before!

S.Love visiting this shop, there is so much to see. I find I have to just stand still and take it all in, before moving to the next spot. Today I was able to buy some lovely gifts gif Christmas that I know will be well received. Do visit when you can take your time in this treasure trove.
