Reviews of Whakapipi Lookout

I started off from Te Aroha Domain, you go up the walkway in 5th pic then there's a sign for the summit trail on the left, follow that track for about 45mins depending on your fitness level as its uphill an steep in some places. Is a awesome view overlooking Te Aroha township

Worth the walk, the view of the town is amazing. If it's not cloudy you can see across to Pirongia.

This is a great short 45 minutes walk for a very rewarding view of Te aroha and the waikato region. On a clear day you can see till very far. The walk is mostly through regenerated native forest, starts right behind the domain and is an easy walk for responsibly fit people. Recommended if visiting Te aroha.

Peaceful, a place just to chill and have time out. Beautiful views too.

Good views of Te Aroha after a steep walk up the mountain for 45 minutes.

Great view of the town and surrounding areas

Good walk up there but the view really ain't that good. Be a man and go up to the summit for a real view.

Great place for a gnome to make a home. Beautiful view!

I took the wrong route. Better not try the Horseman's Track as it's quite difficult.

Great walk, friendly people and a beautiful lookout.
The thermal so is very good as well...
