C.Fantastic staff. Megan is so awesome. We booked to see James Bond and I had mentioned it was our wedding anniversary. Amy and Megan went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful experience. Its a lovely boutique theatre. Highly recommend even if its just for the awesome beverages. Thank You Amy and Megan

J.Tiny little micro cinema with just 40 seats, but that's what makes it cool. You get a comfy sofa, and the screen is a good size for the room. Tickets are cheap and the service is good. My only compilation was the coffee wasn't that great, but they did bring it out to us. Recommended instead of a big chain place.

C.This is a neat little local cinema. It has roomy comfortable seats with plenty of leg-room. There is a good range of wine and beer and they have Kapiti Ice cream :-) The coffee is great and the staff make you welcome. Now our favourite cinema - Well worth a visit
K.This place is the best cinema around. State of the art video and sound system. It only seats 40 people which is perfect. The staff are amazing and the selection of food and drink is awesome for a cinema.
The owner is clearly passionate about making sure his patrons have a wonderful experience and trust me you do. We were in Wellington visiting family and watched widows it was fantastic.
I wish they had this cinema in Tauranga as it would be a regular weekly visit. If you are wanting to watch a movie go to Miro. Don’t go to one of the big mainstream cinemas.

R.I love boutique theaters. Really lovely & friendly staff who are happy to help with anything. The only downer was the thickshake I ordered which was awful - lumpy, uneven, not very cold and super-artificially flavoured. If that could improve (a la Sweet Bakery/Sweet Mother's Kitchen et al) it would be perfect.

K.Today I visited The Miro Cinema with 3 elderly Ladies one on a walking frame, the helpfulness and assistance from the staff was amazing. Customer service is obviously their focus and they excel.

P.Miro Street cinema (originally the first Lighthouse cinema in New Zealand) is a great place to see movies. Wide comfortable couch seating for two people per couch, they can bring food and drink in to your seat, friendly staff, no intrusive ads before the films (sometimes one or two trailers of upcoming movies) - the best way to watch movies. My wife and I saw Hidden Figures here a week ago and the experience was perfect from start to finish. Friendly staff and a good range of alcoholic drinks, ice creams, etc. They show a variety of films from blockbusters like Rogue One to independent features. Highly recommended.

A good mix of art house and commercial films to please all, and their beer selection showcasing local breweries like Kereru make the whole experience better.
