L.After a bad breakup my daughter and grandsons were placed here as emergency housing. The owners were so amazing at looking after her to the point of placing more security camera's up to keep them safe. If I could I would be placing a 10 star rating. Thankyou very much for keeping them safe.

N.Nice and quiet affordable campground in the Wellington region. The campground has basic essential facilities and the WI-FI is extra. Nice friendly local pets to keep you company and entertained. Be aware that the campsite is accessed from State Highway 2 so may be problematic exiting/entering from during peak hour traffic. Would return here again when visiting the Wellington area.
r.We have stayed twice. Once with our tent. The second time we hired a cabin. Both times we found the staff friendly and the facilities extremely clean and well presented and good value for money.

Disappointed as the motel unit (room 7) needed a paint. When we arrived there were no batteries in the TV remote and no milk in the fridge. Had to go back to reception to get these. The wifi was also a let down as we were only given 250 megabytes per room
M.We stayed in the Tourists Unit. Great value for money,Clean unit with lots of room.Would recommend to anyone. We also were towing a float there was plenty of room and also offer grazing for those who are travelling with horses. Will be back again for sure

S.A great place to stay - older rooms but beautifully maintained and exceptionally clean. The beds were so comfortable with good quality sheets.
Small bathrooms but totally adequate with good showers.
Excellent kitchen for preparing a simple meal and stove and appliances sparkling clean. Only gripe - very nice flash microwave but couldn't find a book on how to use it so a bit of trial and error there.
The park is set in a lovely quiet area and yet so close to buses and railway station. Who would want to stay in Wellington when there is such a great place as this a short train ride (45 minutes) away.
We had 3 units for family members and all of us were very happy with our rooms.
We will be back.
B.Grumpy owners, we have visited 8 times over past 14 months. You would think by now there would be some recognition. Nice location. Broken facilities seem to take some time to be fixed.

L.Morning all good I was late in getting here because ferry was late it was warm light was on clean and tidy love it and the soundings I would recommend to any body my first time here as well
v.This was an ideal place to stay for one night with our mokos, the tourist flat fit us all comfortably. The flat appeared to be clean enough. On a negative note, the owner wasn't very friendly on our arrival, the toilet paper holder was broken and hanging off the wall, and we never received the complimentary coffee, suger, and milk etc that was advertised as part of this accommodation. I don't think this place should be advertised as a "holiday park" as it is more like a camping ground on a budget.

Unfortunately we were a bit early and the cabin was not prepared. They cleaned and prepped it for us right away. (Thank you)
They provide 250 Meg of Internet but I couldn't even get to the connection page. We also bought a1 Gig package which was very slow and not connecting. I Don't recommend investing in the internet packages because the connection was VERY slow and dropped a lot.
The kitchen was clean and had everything you need in the way of fridge, pots, pans but only plastic cutlery.
Clean and excellent showers.
K.A lovely quiet campground next to Hutt river which provided a soothing waterfall sound at our camper site. Loved the animals although two of the large rabbits were in an enclosure far too small for them. (I hope the owners take note!) Very manageable distance from Wellington central.
C.Nice campground with a big grass area for tents (ground is a bit hard though). Good bathroom and kitchen. There is some wifi, although we didn't have any during our stay due to a storm. Cute miniature pony, friendly cat, and it's right next to a park that was used for filming Lord of the Rings. Only a short drive to Wellington, good place to stay after or before taking the ferry.
V.We had a basic cabin. Let me first say that the price of 45 NZD is really low and our expectations were not very high. The main thing I disliked was the smell in the room. The whole inside just needs to be updated. Put in new linen, a new carpet and two cheap new chairs and that's it. Kitchen was great and bathrooms were clean.

r.We travelled all over North Island, staying at a total of 15 different caravan parks. This was one of only 2 we found to be absolutely faultless - exceptionally clean, good value and helpful, generous owners. Set in lovely quiet countryside. Thoroughly recommened
J.Friendly staff, large grass field for tents, spacious and clean. Nice quiet location. Men's shower pressure is kind of low but at least it's not on a timer like with most places.
C.Nice park and scenic location. Very good facilities generally (but the men's shower pressure is poor).
Hint: If staying here and need to catch the Interislander ferry in the morning, leave early. Traffic is heavy and took us 1 hour.
P.After a long day on the bike this place offered us a caravan instead of our tent site. This was an amazing offer and we were very thankful for the thought. Highly recommend and fantastic showers.
R.There are few points that you should be aware before you book:
- It is in upper hut and more than 35-40 min. away from Wellington CBD
- There are no good restaurants close by
- The overall facilities there are very average
- If you are catching the early morning ferry then it will be a pain to reach the ferry terminal from here. It takes more than 1 hr to reach the terminal in the morning rush hour as everything is blocked.
- you are better off taking a hostel in Wellington than coming this far.
A.Great place to holiday/weekend getaway/special occasions 🥂 and Family get togethers and all round fun. I have spent more than a handful of nights here and I loved each and every time spent 😊 very welcoming and relaxing, especially with the animals 🐰 🐴 🐐 🐶 😺
d.I have been staying at wellington's Kiwi holiday park for the last 4 to 5 weeks
I stayed in a tourist flat which was very clean and tidy with kitchen facilities a double and single bed, bathroom with shower and toilet
it was very nice to stay there with my daughter who is 6 years old there were other children for her to play with a miniature horse trampoline, swing, goat and Horses. It is in a beautiful area around nature near the river right next to Harcourts Park and not far from a dairy a fish and chip shop and Caltex petrol station. I don't think the owners get enough credit for how well run how clean and tidy it is and I know they get a fair bit of disrespect and abuse from a couple of people who have stayed in the past which is pretty sad they are actually really nice helpful understanding respectful and professional people who look after the business and like most of us will respect you if you respect them and their property overall my stay at wellington's Kiwi Holiday Park was fantastic highly recommended thank you Keith and Kathy.

A.I couldn't stay here, because there was no vacancy, but the staff wasn't really nice about it. They just told us there was no space and then looked at us, like we'd magically create a solution for that. They didn't give us any options in the neighbourhood and it took us hours to find another place to stay.

I.(Translated) Earned quickly. Internet is temporary. Or you have to pay extra. In the Laundry room the washing machine is $ 4 and the dryer is $ 2 for 15 minutes. But the dryer does not dry. Ultimately, everything in our campervan hung with heater there. Owner is a stranger. And we were assigned a place .. after having installed everything we are disturbed by a huge camper bus that could not make its turn. So we had to disconnect and move our camper again. $ 45 is really on the high side for a small camper van.

Snel verdiend. Internet is tijdelijk. Of je moet bijbetalen. In de Laundry ruimte is de wasmachine $ 4 en de droger $2 for 15 minuten. Maar de droger droogt niet. Uiteindelijk alles in onze campervan opgehangen met kacheltje erbij. Eigenaar is een vreemde. Ook kregen en we een plek aangewezen..na alles geïnstalleerd te hebben worden we verstoord door een enorme camperbus die zijn draai niet kon maken . Dus moesten we weer onze camper loskoppelen en verplaatsen. $45 is echt aan de hoge kant voor een klein camper busje.
