Reviews of Koru Club - Wellington
J.Member access. Clean and tidy. Despite covid restrictions, it was well managed. A good selection of food, had to stand behind a barrier and be served but was quick.
L.Friendly staff a reasonable selection of food and drinks. The barista on the day needed more training, coffee was terrible had a burnt taste and also did not know what a piccolo was despite it being in the Air NZ koru app for order. Instead was given a long machiatto. If you are offering different coffees then you need to train the baristas in each of them.
C.A nice lounge, good views, and great batista made coffee. A shame that in Level 2, there are no magazines, not even a printed Kia Ora magazine that you could ask for, to take. We had disrupted flights, and the messaging was conflicted with the announcements leading to twice exiting to go to the gate to board, finding that the flight had been further delayed, so then having to return.
R.A reasonable up to standard domestic premium lounges. It can become quite crowded during ‘rush’ hours, due to the fact that Wellington is the central hub for NZ domestic airways.
Recently refurbished lounge that has a similar’theme’ as most Air NZ international lounges in Australiasia.
It has all the amenities a premium lounge should have. Also comes with its own barista made coffee. Has most of the best beers available in NZ (not craft beers). Reasonable varieties of NZ wines.
Great view to the runway.
b.This place is really worth the price. It has SOOOOOOOOOO many food and drink choices! There are also outlets by the tables so, if you’re running out of battery you can charge your device while eating!
A.I was a guest of a member and have experienced Wellington Koru Club before. Staff are always very professional and nothing is a problem. Thank you for providing a calm retreat.
A.Wouldn’t go without my Koru membership - so helpful when flights are delayed especially. Generally good food and always good wine and beer! Can get pretty busy during peak times
R.Arrived Sunday afternoon, it was very busy. Early evening after a bulk of the AKL and CHC flights things calmed down.
Evening buffet was nice - noodles, cabbage and hoisin roast pork. Bar had plenty available and the roaming staff were friendly and efficient at keeping the place clean.
M.Large lounge, loads of seating with many different zones. Good selection of food and drinks. Nice bathrooms. Quiet and suitable for working pre flight as long as you're not right next to the children's area. Great view of runway.
J.Always a good start to the day, travelling domestically or internationally! The only club I belong to and a great investment.
