Reviews of Whitianga Bike Park & Gardens
R. L.
Beautiful location for the whole family. Lots of great activities, such as petanque, disk golf, playgrounds.
Sad to see no one else there! Great intro into mountain biking, with trails for all ability levels.
Everything is maintained and run by volunteers, so please donate if you can!
F. L.
Great place for riders of all ages and skill levels. I suggest driving there then exploring as some highway roads need to crossed to get there.
V. L.
Short steep and Sweet... Plenty of trail for every one
T. C.
Great hidden Gem. Free bikes to ride on tracks. Outdoor games to play and bush walk. Absolutely loved it.
L. C.
A good afternoon out if you just want to have a laugh with your mates and get lost in a bizarre forest on some whacky trails. Not really any direction or flow to anything but just point your wheel and end up some where. The Summit Loop will get you up to the top where you can experience the fall line steep "double black" trails which are narrow and sketchy, or follow on of the trail back towards the car park. Then have a pump around the BMX track, get your self over the interesting Dirt Jumps, wobbly along the wooden features in the field and chill out in the sunshine.

Great place for the kids with water, toilets and picnic area. Fantastic community supported facilities
S. T.
Unexpected surprise, and definitely worth a visit with the kids!
L. O.
Great family fun. Variety of tracks. Loved the extra playground facilities. BBQ, water fountain and the availability of bikes to ride if you don't have your own.
P. S.
The small park has improved vastly over the years with many tracks being upgraded and is fine for a short blast on your Mountain Bike.
V. P.
Bought kids here, absolutely amazing place and a HUGE thank you to the owners? For taking the kids on a ride on the quad bike! Cannot thank you guys enough! You were amazing!
P. E.
Great tracks and awesome setting

It's very cool. Great place for young and old. Cool spot to hang out while the kids amuse themselves.
M. E.
Great place for all the family. Huge amount of work done by volunteers. Well worth even just a walk around.
R. M.
Some great short runs for beginners and some double diamonds for the experts. Track is well maintained, but signage is lacking a bit. Not easy to work out which way to go to get to the top as all tracks seem to come down only!
A.
Great place to take the kids mountain biking. There is a skills track with ramp and some forest trails. This is all maintained by volunteers so please donate a gold coin, or more.
T. W.
Kids section is ok, MTB tracks are hopeless, signage impossible to understand. Really never an area suitable for tracks, walk up, fall down...not fun.
P. L.
Cool place to spend the day with kids boy gas bottle and go exploring good for all ages even have spear bikes there incase you need one
C. D. H.

Still a young MTB park so it's a bit tricky to navigate but will be great in 3 years.

Great place for families and close to town

Excellent area to ponder your navel whilst walking the tracks. 😁

It's a bit crappy to be honest. Pretty run down but nothing seems to be broken.
