B.This is a family friendly campsite with well maintained very clean facilities. The owners really care about you and want you and your family to have a great time. The local open air pool is one block away (5 minute walk) and free. If you like camping then you definitely have to try this campsite!

Toilets look brand new clean and extremely up market. This place is one of the best we have been too.
A.Great camping ground. Not too large and a range of powered and unpowered sites. Tent sites are not specifically marked, so it's the luck of the draw as to whether you can get under a tree or not. Good clean facilities. Showers are paid for. $1 coin for 5 minutes. Office will change coins for you.
R.Had a family get to-together, hired the cabins, was surprised at their size, cost very reasonable, units were very clean, BBQ area was perfect and the playground, will definitely be back.

P.Love staying here. Its a tidy friendly park. The hosts Sherrie and Phil are friendly hosts, always abliging to your needs. The Tourist Cabins are roomy, nicely decorated with a comfy bed.

M.Really lovely little caravan park. We’ve just left a view of the snowy hills that we can see from the camp. Fabulous clean facilities, just truly delightful. Friendly super helpful owners. Close to the quaint towns of Martinborough and Greytown. I’m reluctant to share this gem but I will as a thumbs up to the great work the owners have put into this camp.

A.Was impressed by how clean and neat the cabin we booked was. Tidy facilities, and a lovely turtle to admire at the reception area. Reasonable prices too.
L.Nice camp. Clean facilities. The downside is you have to pay $1 for a 5 min shower. I think it would be better for them to include that in the charge of the camp, rather than having you walk across the bathroom to put a coin in for your shower.
Overall, I had a great stay with about a dozen friends.
N.My wife and I planned to stay a week over the summer but extended our holiday at the Carterton Holiday Park to 2 weeks when we experienced the park. This is a brilliantly operated facility. Very clean and everything we needed for a great stay was available and in excellent condition. You wont find more caring and friendly owners! We frequently take caravan trips around the country and would rate this park right at the top. We look forward to returning to see more of the beautiful Wairarapa too.

J.Fabulous park, one of the best we have stayed at. Very clean and tidy, well laid out camp and sites very spacious. Would definitely stay again.
D.We stayed here on our last night in NZ before returning our campervan to Wellington. The site is a credit to the managers who are obviously maintaining it to a very high standard. Phil was chatty and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. The site is a short walk to the town centre which has all the essentials - banks, supermarkets etc. Nice area to walk around too.
m.Five wonderful nights found Carterton Holiday Park friendly, clean,quiet,Phil and Sherrie wonderful hosts. They are doing a wonderful job upgrading the park. We were very impressed, and will certainly be back for a visit. Well done guys..and thank you.

J.I stayed in a cabin. The staff were pleasant and helpful, and had even made up the bed for me. All the facilities were clean and the kitchen was well equipped. Easy walking distance to the station was a bonus. Would happily stay here again.

T.Good location, nice friendly host. Clean and well provided amenities. Rented cabin, was very hot inside tho, fan would have been good. Opened windows, but mozzies were in coming in. Byo bug spray. Other than that would stay again.
M.Great Place to stay, I highly recommend it. Owners are very friendly and helpful all the time. We had a really good time there. The facilities and the Park itself are really well maintained. Many things to do in the area around.
A.This is one of the nicest Dog friendly campgrounds we have been to. Dogs have to be kept on leashes but there is a super dog park just down the road called Sparks Park.
The Campground is lovely and clean with pretty grounds and a good space for your caravan and vehicle. Its is a great base to look around the Wairarapa area.
I love the effort made to make it festive for the holiday season.

B.Friendly staff. and a VERY friendly Murtle the Turtle in a pond by reception. Easy walking distance to dairy and town. Woken each morning to the dulcet sounds of the commuter trains heading off to Wellington and in the evenings on their return. Used our Gold card on the train to go to Wellington to the National Museum. (Te Papa)
