We had to go to Greymouth for work and always take our Rottweiler fur baby everywhere, hence how we found Kiwi Holiday Park. Well what an absolute delight the owner and her staff are. More than accommodating and made us feel completely at home. Our timeframe for booking was a bit jumbled here and there, but not to worry. She was so accommodating, helpful, friendly and understanding. Every-time we go to Greymouth now, we will be booking with this wonderful business. Well done, so impressed

We stayed at a discount via our NZMCA membership for $22. For this price I think we got good value. I would normally not stay here in high season for full price. The communal kitchen and lounge is adequate but very small. The showers were very hot (though dated). A spa pool is advertised but the office manager said she had closed it since it was dirty, that she was "closing up early to have tea at me daughter's." Ummmm ok. It was adequate to get us out of a heavy rain but nothing special.

I really enjoyed staying here. The location isn't ideal if you are wanting to be walking distance to town but otherwise it's great if you want to be by the beach as you can hear it when there is no noise and it's only a few minutes walk from the holiday park. Our room provided us with the basics such as a jug, toaster, ,and fridge. These small things make a difference as some places don't provide these amenities. I would definitely stay here again.

I have travelled a lot for work and pleasure and have definite measures of what is important in a hotel/motel room. Number 1 is a good night's sleep which is a function of the Bed, the temperature in the room and the noise level. Number 2 is the quality of the shower in terms of water pressure and temperature and number 3 is the service you receive from the staff. If these three aspects are good then I can forgive an older property that man be in need of renovation and other ancillary items. This property excels in my three mandatory and is OK in the rest. We booked in for 2 nights and were assigned a suite that had a Lounge Kitchen, a bedroom and a separate bathroom and toilet. We had room to move, it was clean well appointed and maintained albeit in need of updating in the Kitchen and Bathroom. The shower was brilliant, there is nothing worse than getting to the end of a long day of travel only to stand under a tepid trickle that pretends to be a shower. The showers here deliver torrents of water at any temperature you desire. Brilliant. The Bed was comfortable, the temperature was right and the room was quiet delivering a good nights sleep and to top it off, the owner was a delight to interact with and the tariff was fair and reasonable for what we were provided. In summary, this is a great place to stay. If in Greymouth again, we will return here and can not recommend this Motel too highly.

A great wee place. Very clean and tidy, affordable, close to the beach. Lovely greeting upon arriving. Wished we had of stayed longer.

Was clean and tidy but first rule is always make sure the toilets are stocked with toilet paper. Given they run double toilet roll holders there is no excuse really.

Stayed in their standard cabin for a night. It was clean, though they don't provide a top sheet, just comforters. Asked the receptionist for a front sheet, which they do offer but for an additional fee. Would have thought it's a basic thing for an accommodation. Toilets and showers are clean. Kitchen is clean as well, though the Lounge's heater doesn't produce much warmth. It's okay for a night, but wouldn't rebook.

Greeted with warmth and a smile, the rooms and facilities were clean and functional, with no additional charges for hot water or wifi. Great value for money and would recommend. Stayed in a basic cabin.

After all the rain it was super muddy. Spend the afternoon getting the washing done. Great washers and driers. Enjoyed our stay

Over the 2019/20 holiday period we have stayed twice and both times we have been made to feel welcome and valued. The rooms, although a bit dated, are clean and well maintained. If we ever get down this way again, we will be looking to stay here again. Only 5 mins drive from a supermarket, Parky's takeaway, pizza place and a bottle store. The motel entrance is on the main road while the camping ground is off a side road, a bit confusing but once worked out it works well

Fully recommend, went away on girls weekend we booked a cabin but went for upgrade, the owner was amazing will definitely recommend to everyone.. enjoyed the Free Spa.. couldn't fault anything..We will be back..

Great hosts, friendly and accommodating. The rooms are soo warm and cozy. A great night sleep had by all.

Small camp. Short walk to the beach. Facilities are old and need to be updated. TV didn´t work and tv room was not very appealling. Kitchen is also messy and outdated.

Really close to the beach, so great for walks along the beach. Good service, with all the right towels, flannels, etc. Great hot shower with great water pressure.

Stayed at this Kiwi holiday camp for over a week back in Sept 2020.The cabin was clean and the camps facilities were clean and tidy.The spa pool was not operating during this time.Overall a good motorcamp to stay except for the weather which rained every day in Greymouth.The owner was really helpfull as our stay was extended due to road closures in the pass.

The park staff were friendly and helpful. Great space for pitching a tent, and kitchen facilities were well equipped. The staff also helped fix my bike, which allowed us to continue touring along the west coast.

Wonderful lady manager WHO has just taken over, does a great job and goes out of her way to point you in the right direction, great little camping ground 50meters from the beach. Big kitchen and Common room, Hot showers and warm cabins, also a motel complex if desired.

Good clean room and ok facilities. Free wifi is quite fast but sometimes cuts out. Kitchen and bathroom are quite outdated, but for the price it is acceptable. The motel is next to SH6 which is quite loud at night, but not unbearable.

Amazing owner saved the day when another establishment pretended to not know of our booked and paid for accommodation My daughter's and their father adored you.. highly recommend

Basic campground. Everything was pretty clean and there was free wifi. The kitchen wasn't so big but just fit for the number of guests. The bathrooms where clean too. The holiday park close at 8h30 so the front gate is closed at this time.

One night in a cabin for 2. Large cabin old fashioned but clean. Fridge and table with chairs inside and outside. Kitchen and facilities clean but kitchen very small. Free jacuzzi (too late for us). Free wifi. Holiday Park not perfect but I put 5 stars for the free wifi, too rare in New Zealand.

Very nice holiday park. We stayed in a 2 bedroom motel unit and it was definitely value for money. Comfortable beds, good quality bedding, and openable windows in all rooms.

I had to come to greymouth for a week and brought food and the like with me. The fridge in the cabin i was in froze the food I had put in there due to it running continuously. Due to the continuous running of the fridge all night i didn't sleep well. Also not all the lights worked in the cabin. And the light above the men's urinal in the toilet block didn't work either. Only having one power point in the cabin for today's technology was abit off putting. On the plus side the room was clean and tidy.

Absolutely fantastic Holiday Park I feel so at home here and owner Kathy is such z delight to deal with.....

The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome very comfortable beds and the spa pool was the perfect end after a long day on the golf course thanks for everything you did for us we thank you and will be staying next time we head down to Greymouth awesome job 👍🏼
