I could not have asked for more, in a 'downtown' camp ground. I stayed in Feb 2022. The facilities were spotless, fridges and surfaces sparkling and cleaned daily, grass and plants short and tidy, and nice staff. I would highly recommend this as your cheap Hamilton accommodation (cheap when compared to a motel or hotel etc).

Lots of space, everything was clean and fresh. Quiet camp for early January, not sure why. Only con, washing machines 5.00 per load a bit steep.

A huge thank you to the team for looking after us during lockdown!! Mark and Sandra - You all made us feel so welcome during our extended stay. A wonderful caravan park!! Great location, only a few minutes walk to the supermarket! Highly recommend, beautifully maintained and relaxing environment 👍

Nice welcome, good size powered site that is separate from neighbours by hedging. Clean, fresh bathroom with great showers.

Friendly welcome and clean facilities. Lovely place to stay with fantastic showers. Pressure you won't see again for a long time!

Great relaxed holiday park to be in. Awesome friendly staff, clean and well maintained facilities, well priced fees. This is our go-to holiday park whenever we are in Hamilton.

The women at the front desk was lovely she went above and beyond, she knows how to treat people very considerate about where to put us which was myself and my 13 year old daughter. People we came across there were also friendly a nice feel at that place. I would definitely visit there again. Thank you Kelly (I think is her name) 😬 It was Saturday afternoon 17.30pm we were there for LAB concert. Plus the bookcase where I was able to swap my mum's books that I had in the car for a while 😊👍🏾

First time we stayed here, we really enjoyed the family cabin. 2nd time I was on my own so took a single cabin, unfortunately my experience wasn't so great. The beds are so uncomfortable (I wouldn't really call them beds, they are camp stretchers) that the floor looks more enticing. As soon as I tried to lie down I was getting a bad back as they are just soft foam mattresses on wire. My cabin also smelled quite strongly of cigarette smoke. Otherwise the amenities are good and it is a reasonable priced stay, cabins are clean. If you sleep on your front or are heavier than 50kgs then don't rent the single cabins.

I haven’t stayed here but I went to enquire about the price for staying 2 weeks or more in a cabin. The receptionist said her manager won’t allow a stay for this long. I don’t understand why they won’t allow this when it’s in their best interests to have as many full rooms as possible. We just wanted to stay for a few weeks while doing some short term work.

We had a fantastic stay. 3 nights with 2 adults, 9 teenagers, and 1 child. The management were very accommodating and it is very affordable. Very friendly guests. Would 100% stay here again.

Love this Park. The location is ideal. Have been a regular here. Congratulations to Mark & his team who have been working hard to make this Holiday Park a memorable place to stay.

Definitely on the more pricey end of the scale for a powered site. Grounds were clean but the actual site that I was given wasn't level. WiFi was unusable in my park too, not a huge issue but for some it would be

I stayed at Hamilton City Holiday Park a few weeks ago. The holiday park is near the city, spacious and had reasonable bathrooms, kitchen and good Wifi. The administrator was very helpful and kind, they sold me a site close to the facilities which made me very happy, as I was a solo traveler. I really recommend this holiday park! :)

Great stay, Great location, Great Park. The manager came out and helped me with the tv and ended up having a great chat, helping me with my holiday, where to go and what to do etc. Booked again for a couple of months see you again soon.

The camp managers are clearly working hard to improve the grounds that have suffered from past neglect. Facilities are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness. Mature trees provided welcome shade.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in a 2 bed unit with kitchenette. Very clean, comfortable and had all the basics we needed. Friendly and welcoming staff who provided exceptional service. Would highly recommend.

New Managers are very helpful and are working hard to make improvements throughout the park. Very well located in the heart of Hamilton with mature trees, decent infrastructure and a supermarket just across the road.

We stayed in a double bed cabin for just one night. The place is well located, it is near to a Countdown supermarket and there are some fast food restaurants / take aways nearby. The staff was friendly and the share facilities (restrooms, kitchen) are clean. The bedroom was also clean. It has a fair price and you get what you pay for. I have no complaints.

My wife and I stayed on this site for 11 weeks having initially intended staying for 6 weeks. The green wooded pitches were large but still provided privacy. This setting reflects the mission statement and facilities of the Hamilton area and the fantastic gardens close by. It is a gem of tranquility and greenery in a city environment. The kitchen and toilet facilities were well managed and substantial. My wife suffered broken ribs caused by a white van man while she was cycling, the staff at this site were excellent and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. We met very friendly people around the site. There was some noise nuisance on occasional weekends from the houses nearby but these were dealt with promptly and effectively by the staff and council. The road alterations directly outside the site were in full swing when we arrived and nearly completed when we left, the bus stop directly outside the entrance will be an asset as will the network of cycle paths extending out to the major shopping areas. The walk into the local farmers market and city area took a steady 15 minutes. It only takes minutes in any direction to find some green open land. Our warmest thanks to the staff and all the people we met for making what could have been a dire experience into a life long memory and we will be back.

The owners were very accommodating and helped us to store our bags and gave very good local knowledge! The location was pretty good too, about a 20 minute walk to the centre of Hamilton. The tent pitch was flat and well covered with grass. The facilities around the campsite were good; hot showers, a T.V. room with books and board games, outdoor barbecues and a kitchen! There was both a rental charge and deposit for the cooking equipment. I felt this was unfair as if you require a kitchen, chances are you need the equipment also! We thought that a deposit was reasonable but to charge a rental fee on top was a little excessive; having a deposit held would be enough motivation to ensure that we took care of the equipment.

A good functional holiday park that is about 2.4km from the main strip. It has all the amenities and is very clean. The facility are a bit old and some of the nice to haves like drying clothes and heaters in the toilet block were not there. But these are luxery items.

Have stayed three times over the last couple months and will return. Lovely owners, lovely place. Location is centre to everything in Hamilton - and a countdown supermarket literally a 3 minute drive.

Nice quiet and plenty of private corners . Lots of shady trees. Good security . Bit dated but clean and tidy under the present management .

Not the most glamorous park I’ve ever stayed at but it’s clean, reasonably priced, and the owners are lovely :) And just as a tip, if you don’t want to pay for the wi-fi there, the Mitre 10 up the road (2min walk) has it for a free and the cafe does a really decent breakfast.

Beautiful, parklike grounds with nature trees and lovely hedged sites. Good ablutions block right in the centre of the park, so easy to get to. Close to the centre of town, so excellent option for a stay while in the increasingly awesome Hamilton. Only downside is the campground backs onto a row of student accomodation flats, so there tends to be a lot of noise on Friday/Saturday nights. Bring earplugs and all will be well.

Pretty place, has all that is needed. Clean facilities, you will have a pincode to entr the kitchen and open the main entrance . We stayed one night and all went good. Thumb up.

A nice clean, cheap place to stay - great for family getaways or road trips. In a convenient to find location, with nice grounds and good security. Only complaint is that the internet and laundry are a little pricey.

It's a good camping, but a lot of noise during the night and no body to take control of the situation make a good sleep a nightmare. Internet is very expansive. No water point and no grey water. Showers is free.

Stayed in a 2 person camping hut for one night. Beds are separated (in case thats important). Hut is sufficient to sleep and provides a few amenities like chairs, table, several power outlets, water cooker and toaster. There was no trash can. Parking is in front of hut. NO free internet. Washer is $nz 5. Detergent can be purchased on site. Showers and facilities were clean. Gated access. Quiet area in the middle of town.

Clean warm VERY SMALL 2 bedroom unit. Fire Alarm in bedroom went off in middle of night, due to flat battery Have to Rent towels and duvets or bring your own. Couch in lounge very old and need replacing. Broken towel rail in small bathroom . Friendly staff. Conveniently situated in middle of Hamilton.

The place is beautiful... A variety of cabins to rent The hosts Jane and Tom Wilcox What a blessing to meet them I would recomend this place

Clean our cabin was very dark and the light was right next to grandson head in the bunks shower pressure was ok but more water on floor then anywhere else otherwise ok stay

Really good and easy to find. Showers are very powerful and we'll heated. Everything we needed for our Apollo camper.

Very convenient spot but camp is tired. Nothing in the kitchen for use, just the basics of sinks, cookers, kettle & toaster. Showers go to scorching while you're using them!!??

Was very clean and tidy, could do with a fresh look in the kitchen and bathrooms, in saying that I would still recommend staying here

What an absolute gem of tree'd traquility, in the midst of the rather frenetic Hamilton. Good to see the hosts/owners historically take a no nonsense approach to rule breakers infringing the other campers enjoyment. This is at stark contrast to a recent stay at Blenheim Top 10. There: the owner took the word of group of drunk youths partying at 2.00am, over that of a 69 year old sober, polite, retired public servant with a crook back, just trying to get to sleep; about who was the most likely to be causing trouble. The epitome of incompetent management. Be warned by Blenheim Top 10's 20% TERRIBLE ratings

Centrally located great summer park under beautiful shady oak trees big sites with hedges all around very reasonable fees $21- for a powered site for one person facilities good a bit dated but clean an well maintained camp ground an host's very accommodating security gate aswell

Lovely grounds and nice management. Bathrooms are a bit tired. The occupants of the neighbouring properties can be loud late at night.

Nice cheap accomodation and friendly staff. I didnt realise I had to bring blankets and towels, luckily it was summer and it was so hot we didn't need blankets....a fan would have been a great addition to the room.

Nice holiday park, everything is pretty up to date, you'll need to provide your own kitchen utensils and dishes. The neighbors are pretty rowdy, so you might hear them at night.

The camp was a nice spot for parking a camper. Quiet and shady! Facilities are in great shape.

First visit and the receptionist was extremely helpful, professional and friendly. It was welcoming from the 1st phone call. Definitely recommend this place. All facilities were very clean and tidy.
