Reviews of Ahimate Dog Park
P. T.Great place to take the dogs. We particularly like this park as it is fenced to keep in smaller dogs, although I did note one area near a large gate where one of mine would likely try to make a break for it (she is an escape artist so we keep an eye on her). Would be awesome to see more parks like this in Palmerston North. Good facilities with a double gate to enter to help ensure dogs don't escape, water and poop bags are supplied, and generally clean. Would recommend
A. G.Currently a rahui in place on th river with four people drowning here recently. A popular reserve for walkers, dog walkers, cyclists; and, electric scooter riders (new to palmy).

D. B.Loved it. It was the first time we have let our older puppy off of the lead and all the other dog owners were encouraging and responsible. We will be going back regularly.
M. C.Fantastic place for self-contained motorhome overnight. Next to Manawatu river and walks, huge reserve, and even a dog play/training area. Very quiet at night as gates closed
