Reviews of Pokeno dog exercise area
A.This is the best thing that could happen to a dog owner! The park is completely fenced off so you can let your dog run loose! You must pick up after your pup and there is a water tap at the rear! Definitely recommend in the evenings and on Saturday morning!!
E.Tried here as my local park never had dogs there for mine to play with. Great vibe, lovely dogs and their hoomans. My boy loves his nightly play.

T.There are now seats at the dog park! I bring my dog here regularly as it is well fenced, there is lots of room to run around and usually, other dogs to play with. There is a bin for the doggy poos, and often spare bags on the fence. Sadly, some owners don't seem to think it matters if we end up treading in the poos their dogs leave behind. :-( Various people are kind enough to supply water, poo bags, toys and water bowls. Please leave them there for the use of all and don't take them home with you. Feel free to top up supplies as you are able. It would be great if we can get a water trough put in and some pipes for the dogs to run through and jump over.
J.Excellent place to let you dogs off leash. Can get little sogy in winter. Grass could do with a break. And close it for a few weeks. Please remove your dogs poos as there was quite a bit when we were there. Otherwise excellent.

E.Really nice place to take your dog for a run around without having to worry about your leash. Always nice to meet other dogs /owners. It's great to see the new seating as well and there's a couple of water bowls as well.

B.Getting better and better every time we go. They've now got benches and have planted some trees. My only concern is the far small gate and the gap underneath it. Our small dog was able to get through into the neighbouring property. Someone placed some small rocks there but I think a better solution is needed. Otherwise an excellent place to let you dog stretch its legs
M.Love this dogs park where the dogs can run around without a leash because it's well fenced, and they can socialisze with other dogs for owners allow it.
D.I don't have a dog but those that do were there in force. The dogs were having a great time socialising.
B.Great park, well gated and fenced. Good seating. A water station. Big old macrocarpa tree for shade. Get to meet new people and socialise your dog with other dogs.

A.Small safe area for running off lead. Well fenced. Quiet road. Will look a lot better when the trees grow a bit.
