R.Plenty of parks when we arrived at 3pm
Very narrow parks, public toilet is a good 5min walk, so dont leave it too late!
B.Great location. A little walk to public toilet. Lits of spaces. Thanks Rotorua Council, as there's not many places to park and we could walk to town as well.
D.It’s close to cbd, lovely quiet (the 24/7 water fountain behind the campervan parking site didn’t bother me in the slightest) place to park up for a night and it’s Free. Thanks Rotorua City Council
B.Good for the night, But quickly full. Got there a bit late and only one space left. Close to a nice park and nice walk to the lake. Smell is not a problem, if it's bothering you don't even stop in Rotorua.. Also it was surprisingly quiet which was a good thing.
D.Great location in the centre of town but everyone knows this and it's usually absolutely full at about 1600. Only parking for self contained. No water or dump station etc. Very busy. Get there early if you want a space. The rest of town is pretty much a short walk away. The lake itself is close as well and worth seeing.
F.Very busy spot in the centre of things. Best for fully self-contained vehicles as the nearby toilet is not the best. Morning coffee in town (best at the Arts Centre cafe a few steps away). Yes, it is really smelly! But you are in Rotorua!!
A.Should be a nice place to stop with your campervan but it usually full inclunding by cars thar shouldn´t park there. There are people from the council checking who sleep in the area but there is nothing they can do about cars using campervan spots. There is another place where three campervans can be fitted.
L.Please note, this campervan parking area is not available during Covid -19 Level 2. You can park there during the day (if the parks aren'ttaken by cars!), just not overnight.
n.We are so lucky, came in around 5pm, 3 spots left. Another 2 parked within 5 mins
I.This place is for self-contained campervan only. Close to everything. The smell is terrible though.
