Such a great place! We were a group of 3 people riding, two of us had never been in a wake park before. Everything went smooth and super fun! Thanks to lady who towed us for nearly 3h :) we will definitely come back!! Please stay open or come to Queenstown :)

My 17 yr old son did the $80 lesson with two 10 minute sessions. It was a great experience. The park is a very laid back place, so nothing is rushed, lots of time to learn and plenty of instruction to get better as you go. My son had a great time! I highly recommend Taupō Wake Park!

This place is so much fun!! If you've never wake boarded before it's a really easy place to learn (my girlfriend got up first try with the staff's help) and if you have, then it's fun to hit the park features they have set up. They also run a great kids program and the staff are super friendly! So much fun!!!

This place is so cool! 🤓Tucked away slightly hidden along side the state highway number 1 bypass bridge, nestled in next to the river, bridge and cliffs at the flanks, housing a sweet double sided kicker and a slick tri-level pyramid slider, this picturesque unique setup welcomes extreme water sport enthusiasts and spectators of all ages and ability. Increase your skills and learn new tricks aided by tailored instruction and while your waiting for your turn you can practice air tricks on the trampolines and techniques on the practice handle🤙

Excellent experience, and my first time wakeboarding. I found it to be very similar to snowboarding and was up carving in no time. The owner Odette is lovely and patiently adjusts the speed of the cable-rigged course to your skill level. There were a few kids who were on the course before us and they were having a blast as well.
