A Google search brought up nearby Imagine Fitness, and I've been training with James now for the past 12 weeks. Not only have I lost over 3kg in weight and 3 inches from my belt, but my general mobility has improved, with fewer clicks and clunks from joints, plus easier walking up steps and hills. The best things about the small group sessions have been how James has tailored the exercises to our specific needs, and how every session has been different. I would certainly recommend James and have already pointed friends to his Studio.

A work colleague of mine recommended that I give training with James at Imagine Fitness a go. He really enjoyed the workouts that James designs and thought it would be something that I also could get into. I have been seeing James at Imagine Fitness for 3 months now and it has been a blast. The workouts he designs is engaging and I like the variety in them. They have helped me to gain a lot more muscle/strength which is what I was aiming for. Imagine Fitness is a perfect sized personal training studio where you get the one to one attention you need. I’ve been training with James for a decade now and I’ve seen some definite results through my time. I have been working with James for 5+ years on and off. Always excellent and responsive to the goals that I have. Imagine Fitness led by James seemed to be a good fit for me so I joined up and attended twice a week for a year or so untill I changed jobs and location- really enjoyed the banter with James and the others- made training somewhat less painful.
I can recommend it to others that are wondering if they should or not - having the one on one interaction with Jesse James was a bonus and even if I didn’t regain my youthful body I did enjoy the banter!

If you are after a friendly & knowledgeable PT, then go see James. Great location in the Auckland CBD, which is so convenient for sessions during the working day.
I started PT with James after the second lockdown in August & he really helped me kick start my workout motivation and increase my strength & fitness levels.
I also really enjoyed the small group lunchtime classes and can highly recommend them!

If you want to transform yourself physically and learn to stick with it then James program is a fantastic way to achieve your goal. I've been working out with James for 10 weeks and I've seen a real transformation I've lost more than 7kgs and more than 10cm from my waste. I sleep better, feel stronger and my general health has improved dramatically. The program is only 3 x per week for 30mins. The training is always different and James is very encouraging. I've been trying to get back in to working out for 15 years, and working with James is helping me to achieve my goal. Great little personal training spot in the middle of the city. Small groups of like minded members make for welcoming and friendly sessions. James was able to take into account some injuries and modify exercises as required. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a holistic offering that includes fitness, weight loss and mindset training.

I found Imagine Fitness online and chose it because of its handy location. Have been training there for about 4 years. Started training with James this year on the 12 week transformation programme. The programme has been great and I lost 5 kgs. But more than That James helped me change my thinking around exercise and food. The sessions are challenging but rewarding and I am looking forward to continuing my journey.

A great compact personal training studio based in Auckland's city centre. Close to your work and easy to get to. Its clean, has good equipment and there are a choice of friendly trainers to choose from.
James is an awesome personal trainer who really cares about his clients. His workouts are fun, challenging and varied. They can vary from boxing, to HIIT, to weights and body weight workouts. James understands the importance of balance and having fun while also looking after yourself.

A well set up personal training studio in the Auckland CBD. Staffed by 3 helpful and cheerful trainers, James, Caleb, and Emma.
I have been working with James for a number of years now. He is cheerful, knowledgeable, and attuned to the goals that I am striving to achieve. I have a number of orthopedic challenges that are the result of both past injuries and middle age; James works in conjunction with my physiotherapist to ensure the best outcome.
My observation of the other trainers is that they are equally professional and friendly, and I would recommend them to anyone.
